Moser Hall (STEM)

Moser Hall, located in the center of campus, houses the STEM College - Ohio's first and only college dedicated to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The College of STEM faculty are not only academic experts, but also working professionals who involve students in their daily research. First completed in 1967, a later effort to enhance the building was completed in the fall of 1996, bringing Moser further into its future. In addition to 71 research and scheduled laboratories, it holds classrooms, research and development areas, conference rooms, and faculty and staff offices. Moser also houses the 200-seat state-of-the-art Schwebel Auditorium, as well as the Clarence R. Smith Mineral Museum.

Cushwa Hall (Health and Human Services)

Opened in 1976, Cushwa Hall is home to the Dominic A. and Helen M. Bitonte College of Health and Human Services. Here you'll find health and service-related programs including health professions, the Centofanti School of Nursing, social work, criminal justice and consumer sciences, graduate studies in health and rehabilitiation sciences, military science, the Peace Officer Training Academy, and more. Administrative offices including Environmental, Occupational Health & Safety are also located here. One of the largest buildings on campus, Cushwa contains 28 classrooms, 40 laboratories, 172 offices, and two large lecture halls. In addition, several interesting medical artifacts from the Rose Melnick Medical Museum are currently displayed throughout the building.

Williamson Hall (School of Business)

The Williamson College of Business Administration's home on campus is Williamson Hall - Youngstown State University's newest, most technologically advanced academic building. This is where business students' academic and professional preparation begins, but it is also the springboard for a wide range of professional and co-curricular activities. Classroom experience is enhanced by employer events, leadership organizations, and an extensive internship program. In Williamson Hall you will find the WCBA Student Services Center, Career Management Center, computer labs, faculty offices, media-enhanced classrooms, team rooms, and the WCBA Conference Center. LEED-certified by the US Green Building Council, Williamson Hall is the first "green" building on YSU's campus.

Bliss Hall (Cliffe College of Creative Arts)

Bliss Hall is home to the Cliffe College of Creative Arts (CCCA). For nearly a century, the distinguished faculty of artists and scholars have dedicated themselves to helping students pursue their passions and develop their talents, while serving as a vital cultural asset to campus, the Mahoning Valley, and the state of Ohio. CCCA students have the opportunity to develop depth in a primary concentration, and breadth by exploring cross-disciplinary experiences in an extraordinarily creative environment. CCCA is comprised of the departments of Art, Theatre and Dance, and the Dana School of Music, along with two auxiliary units - McDonough Museum of Art, and the Office of Community Engagement & Events.

Beeghly Hall (College of Liberal Arts, Social Sciences & Education)

If your goal is to become a teacher in the state of Ohio, this is the place to start. Beeghly Hall is home to the education branch of the Beeghly College of Liberal Arts, Socials Sciences and Education. It houses a 400-seat auditorium, the Wilcox Curriculum Resource Center, and several programs that are open to the community, including the Community Counseling Center. Whether you want to become a teacher, counselor or principal, this is where you'll learn through experience. You'll be a student and a teacher at the same time as you prepare for your career, because the questions you ask today may be the questions you're asked tomorrow.

Fok Hall (Honors College)

Originally home to the Myron Israel Arms Family, *Fok* Hall was built in 1893, making it the oldest building on the Youngstown State University campus. Today it houses the Sokolov Honors College, typically described as a community of students who have similar learning values and a sense of family who support each other as they pursue their academic, career, and personal goals. The Sokolov Honors College has supported student achievement in landing their dream jobs, securing national and international scholarships, and receiving full scholarships for graduate study. Honors students are engaged in the community and lead organizations across campus. All of these high impact experiences lead to our students' success.

Kohli Hall Excellence Training Center

Located in downtown Youngstown, the Excellence Training Center is a facility partnership that includes YSU, Eastern Gateway, county career and technical centers, Youngstown Business Incubator, America Makes, Tech Belt Energy Innovation Center, regional economic development organizations, and the Mahoning Valley Manufacturers Coalition. It's a shared resource training center designed to become a hub of workforce development, innovation and research, particularly focused on advanced manufacturing. In addition, the center includes all academic disciplines and innovation of all kinds, serving the entrepreneurial future of the Mahoning Valley.

Meshel Hall (Part of STEM)

Meshel Hall, dedicated January 1986, was named for Senator Harry Meshel, a former university trustee. Meshel houses expanded facilities for academic and administrative computer use, broadening Youngstown State University's educational programs. The state-of-the-art center offers instruction, research, and application in advanced computer technology that serves the entire university community. The four-story structure contains over 90,000 square feet of space, and is located west of the Wick Avenue Parking Deck with its main access and entry by the Stavich Family Bridge. The building contains of several classrooms, computerized laboratories, and faculty and staff offices. The offices of the University Bursar, Financial Aid and Scholarships, Registrar, Penguin Service Center, and Records are all located here.

Ward Beecher Hall (Part of STEM)

Ward Beecher Hall houses the departments of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics and Astronomy. The five-story building was constructed in 1958, built with funds contributed by Mahoning Valley Industries and area industrialist, Ward Beecher. A major addition was completed in 1967, and a smaller section of chemical storerooms was later added in 1997. Presently, the building contains classrooms, a greenhouse, offices, and the area's famous planetarium. In it's more than 50 years in service to the Mahoning Valley, the Ward Beecher Planetarium serves as an astronomy classroom, premium field trip destination, and an immersive educational experience. In accordance with Beecher's wishes that the sciences benefit young people, the planetarium has always been free and open to the public.

DeBartolo Hall (Part of Liberl Arts)

DeBartolo Hall is home to the Liberal Arts and Social Sciences branch of the Beeghly College of Liberal Arts, Social Sciences & Education (BCLASSE). BCLASSE focuses on its students with personalized attention, and inside DeBartolo Hall, you will discover an array of programs dedicarted to students focusing on social sciences and humanities. Located within this six-story structure are more than 172 offices for faculty and staff, student lounges and study areas, classrooms and laboratories, and a large capacity 200-seat lecture hall. A small liberal arts college within a larger university; a big school's resources with a small school's focus on personal attention...you'll receive the most from both worlds here.

J.J. and Janet Cafaro Hall / Ronald G. Silvestri Hall

The J.J. and Janet Cafaro Hall houses the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, the Math Assistance Center, the Office of Distance Education and the Office of College Access & Transtition. The Ronald G. Silvestri Hall is home to the Department of Geography; and Institutional Research and Analytics.

Kilcawley Center

Kilcawley Center - the university's community hub and popular gathering spot, is the perfect for place to take a break from a long day of classes. Located in campus core, Kilcawley is where you'll find a number of student services offices, social and study lounges, conference rooms, and entertainment areas. Lose something? Check the official Lost and Found. Interested in radio broadcasting? Rookery Radio is in the building. Hungry? There are plenty of dining options and a wide variety of diversified food service programs and restaurants including Wendy's and Chick-fil-A. Kilcawley also offers a large computer lab accessible to all students, and a convenient information desk where fellow students are available to assist with your questions.

Andrew's Rec Center

Located in Kilcawley, The Andrew's Student Recreation and Wellness Center serves as a health and fitness base specifically designed for students. This modern facility includes more than 70 pieces of cardio equipment, aerobics studios, weight-training pieces, and free-weight station, as well as an 18,500 square-foot sports forum. The popular 53-ft. climbing wall is the tallest in the state of Ohio. The Rec Center, as it's known, includes a wellness resource center designed to promote healthy lifestyise choices, as well as a meditation center designed to provide an area in which to reflect, relax, and contemplate. Students will learn short- and long-term benefits of having facilities and equipment that are cutting-edge, universally-designed, and well-maintained.

Stambaugh Stadium

Home of the YSU Football program, the Arnold D. Stambaugh Stadium complex is one of the top Football Champion Subdivision (FCS) facilities in the country. The YSU Penguins play their home games on Beede Field, which features a state-of-the-art artificial-turf surface. Stambaugh has a seating capacity of more than 20,000, and a loge complex that includes 26 individual suites. A pillar of both the University and community, Stambaugh is the place to be during home football games each fall. In addition to the field, Stambaugh houses a number of offices and athletic centers including the Jermaine Hopkins Academic Center, the Athletics Strength and Conditioning Complex, Athletic Training Room, Athletic Ticket Office, ROTC, and three full-length basketball courts.

Beeghly Center

The longest-standing on-campus athletics facility, the Beeghly Physical Education Center was first utilized in 1972, and is now home to basketball, volleyball, and swimming and diving programs. The Department of Kinesiology and Sport Science, basketball programs offices, and many YSU athletic teams are located here. Named after longtime basketball coach Dom Rosselli, the arena has seating for more than 6,000 fans, and serves as home base for both the volleyball and basketball teams. Beeghly Center also houses the Coaches Court, faculty offices, classrooms, a dance studio, handicapped-accessible facilities, and fitness center, not to mention an impressive natatorium that features five diving platforms and Olympic-sized swimming pool.

Watson & Tressel Training Site

The Watson and Tressel Training Site (WATTS) is an impressive on-campus athletic facility that offers Youngstown State student athletes one of the best indoor complexes in the entire FCS and the Horizon League. East of Stambaugh Stadium, the WATTS features a full-length Shaw Sportexe PowerBlade HP+ synthetic turf system football field, a 300-meter state-of-the-art mondo track surface, long- and high-jump pits, batting cages, training room, and locker rooms. Soccer, track and field, baseball, golf, softball and football can practice in a safer, more comfortable environment. This modern facility also provides a significantly prolonged practice season to meet the challenge of the elevated level of competition YSU seeks to embrace.

Cafaro House / Lyden House

Lyden House is our largest residence hall and has a traditional double-loaded corridor layout. Off of the main hallways are two-person rooms on each side of the hallway. All four floors include rooms for each gender, and each wing has one restroom for each gender. Each floor includes a central lounge where the two wings meet, which has couches, chairs, and several sizes of tables for various purposes. Cafaro House is to home to students in our Honors College. Cafaro House has mostly suite-style housing. Students will enter into their suite off the main hallway. The suite is a common area that is carpeted and furnished. Off of each suite are a number of bedrooms.

Kilcawley House / Sweeney Hall

Kilcawley House is in the heart of campus and connects directly to Kilcawley Center, our campus student center and conference center. Each floor has a traditional double-loaded corridor layout, with two-person rooms on each side of the hallway and a furnished lounge.

]Maag Library

The William F. Maag, Jr. Library, a six-story structure completed in 1976, provides a comfortable environment for study and research. Prior to its construction, early students at Youngstown College used a small library collection in Jones Hall, as well as the public library on Wick Avenue. The university's first library (now Tod Hall) was built in 1953 after fundraising by students and support from community members. By the 1970s, the library had outgrown its original building and plans began for a new building, named after William Maag, a trustee of the University and the public library for many years. Today, Maag Library continues to support learning by providing instruction and resources to meet students' needs.
