Compton Union Building

The Compton Union Building is a one-stop for many student needs and diversions. One of the most common reasons to stop by is the campus bookstore, known as the Bookie. The Bookie is the prime source for textbook sales and rentals, discounted technology, apparel, gifts, dorm and class supplies and more. The building is also a popular place to dine, grab a quick coffee or a snack, watch TV or game with friends, catch live entertainment, tend to mail and banking, and find out about student activities.

Fine Arts

The Fine Arts Center is home to the Department of Fine Arts. Here students receive instruction from active professional artists, with use of professional-grade equipment. Fine Arts facilities include bronze casting, wood and metal fabrication equipment, digital media labs, specialized kilns, digital and traditional photography equipment, and printmaking studios. The Center is also home the WSU Museum of Art.

French Administration

The French Administration building contains the Office of the President and – along with the Lighty Student Services Building – multiple administrative departments. Students stop in to satisfy registration, tuition and housing needs.

Holland Library

The Holland Library, along with the adjoining Terrell Library and the Owen Science and Engineering Library, offer a total collection of more than 2 million books. The Holland and Terrell libraries feature digital and print volumes in the humanities, social sciences, fine arts and business. The libraries also offer students and researchers ready access to computer workstations, laptop loans, and Wireless Internet. Study spaces include a second-floor Art Lounge, a Micro Lounge and a Quiet Study Lounge.

Johnson Hall

Johnson Hall hosts significant discoveries and innovations in Natural Resource Sciences, Crop and Soil Sciences, Plant Pathology, and Horticulture and Landscape Architecture. The building is also home to the U.S. Department of Agricultural Research. WSU maintains an ever- expanding list of BioSciences programs and facilities that includes labs across campus and the state, and attracts top-tier faculty and researchers from all corners of the globe.

Smith Center

The 94,000-square-foot Smith Center for Undergraduate Education, better known as CUE, is home to the University's General Education program, Writing program, and the Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology. In addition to classrooms and auditoriums, the CUE features computer labs and walk-in tutoring and assessment facilities. As an added perk, the building also has its own Cyber Café.

The Lighty Student Services Building and adjoining French Administration Building house a majority of the University's administrative offices. Students stop in to the Student Services Building for help with Admissions, Scholarships and Financial Aid. The building also caters to students seeking course or career guidance, and to students looking to explore campus culture and organizations.

Terrell Library

Terrell Library is the newer half of the two-library main facility. In addition to reference materials and work and study spaces, Terrell features a skylight dome with one of the most impressive views on campus.

Todd Hall

Todd Hall, adjoined to Johnson Tower, is home to WSU's College of Business and boasts several state-of-the-art learning and presentation environments. The hall features The Carson Professional Development Center, a boardroom designed to prepare students for all aspects of professional recruitment. It also features the Boeing Wireless Classroom of the Future, furnished with surround-sound speakers and both a boardroom table with chairs and moveable sofas with coffee tables. Business students also have access to culinary and marketing behavioral labs, a trading room and an electronic meeting room.

Terrell Mall

The Terrell Friendship Mall is a popular downtime and special events hub for WSU students. The Mall provides lawn and bench lounging right outside several key buildings, including the Library. Students can come with a book, a game or just themselves to enjoy some time outside. The Mall also serves as a fresh air venue for live music, student campaigns, farmers markets and more.
