You may have heard about our first-tier rankings or accomplished alumni, but you may not have heard about our breathtaking, 22-acre campus. Join me and explore just some of the highlights of our original and main campus!

Los Angeles Times Library

The Los Angeles Times Library (or University Library) is located on the south end of campus. The space was formerly a chapel, and the conversion resulted in a beautifully unique environment to research and work. The upstairs area, once a choir chapel, now serves as a study area. The former dormitory was converted to house the library's collection and office spaces. The library also features an electronic classroom/study hall. Workshops, classes and Audio-visual equipment rental are available at the Library as well. Additional online support is offered through the library website.

North Hall Residence

Located close to Cabrini Drive on the north end of campus, North Hall serves as a residence for both men and women, housed in their own separate sections. The building is comprised of 11 sections in total with up to 15 students in each one, making North Hall the larger of the two residences on campus. Kitchens and bathrooms are shared by residents, who also have access to a lounge, laundry facilities, mailboxes and drink and snack machines. Residents of the three-story North Hall also enjoy the added perk of air conditioning and a security gate. Volleyball courts and a fitness center are right next door.

South Hall Residence

South Hall, one of the original Woodbury structures, is a co-ed residence located in the center of campus. Students here share community bathrooms in designated male and female hallways. Kitchens are also shared. Residents in South Hall enjoy the convenience of on-site laundry facilities, mailboxes and drink and snack machines. The student lounge gives residents access to recreation and entertainment without having to leave the building. Also, the swimming pool and fitness center are right next door.

Alumni Quad

The Alumni Quad is a central gathering spot for students and visitors, surrounded by several key academic and student service buildings. Activities take place here daily, as well as fairs, town halls, arts festivals and Convocation. The green lawns are a great place to stop and soak up the sun. The trees also provide generous shade, and deer have even been known to make a crossing across the Quad.

Bookstore

The Bookstore – or Campus Store – is located in South Hall. The store sells books, software and supplies for classes. Woodbury gear is also available at the store, as well as gifts and merchandise from tumblers to t-shirts. Most items are also available at the Woodbury University Bookstore Online. To double-check store hours before you go, you can call the bookstore or switchboard. Monday through Thursday the store typically holds its longest hours, with shorter days on Fridays and Saturdays.

Judith Tamkin Fashion Gallery

Welcome to the Judith Tamkin Fashion Gallery. Here Fashion Design students from the School of Media, Culture & Design soak in rotating exhibits. The Fashion Study Collection introduces students to significant style periods, often exhibiting the work of fashion gurus down through history, providing historical context and inspiration for the students' own designs. The gallery is open from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday through Sunday.

Enkeboll Courtyard

Enkeboll Courtyard is a 5,000-square-foot meeting and special events space located just outside the Library. This space is particularly special because the concept was generated by Woodbury University Students. The courtyard was constructed with custom concrete, overhead lighting, and rolling ramps. Benches and café tables are flanked by modern landscaping to complete this intimate area.

School of Architecture

Located in-between the Library and the Ralph M. Parsons studio is Woodbury's School of Architecture. Students here pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in Architecture and Interior Architecture have access to state-of-the-art facilities and award-winning faculty. The building features a Digital Fabrication Laboratory, and Metal and Wood Shop. Additionally, Woodbury University boasts the external Woodbury University Hollywood Gallery (WUHO), located on the Hollywood Walk-of-Fame.

The New Woody's Cafe

The New Woody's Café is located by the Quad and serves as Woodbury's main dining facility. Offerings at the café are always fresh and made from scratch. The menu changes up often and features sustainable foods with many vegetarian and vegan options. With inviting indoor and outdoor patio seating, the café is an excellent place to spend time with friends over a meal or to grab a quick snack and a coffee as you do one last review before an exam.
