Tour stop audio transcript
The Westside Campus Center is similar to the Student Center on Midtown as it has a wide variety of resources for WCSU students. Starting with the top floors, there are tons of open lounges and study spaces for students, but this is also where our Career Success Center is located. Within those doors, our students can connect with a Career Counselor to seek help revamping their cover letters and résumés, engage in mock interviews, and more! On the main level, we have our large ballrooms that are used for a variety of student and faculty led events such as our Program Activity Counsel's Bingo Night or one of the Admissions Office's weekend tours. On the bottom floor, we have the Westside Marketplace, The Daily Grind and an awesome game room. Once you walk through the game room door, your eyes will be glued to the wall of TVs and soon you'll be sinking into one of the comfy gamer chairs. Once you work up an appetite, walk back out the door to our Westside Marketplace, which works a little differently from the Midtown Student Center Restaurant. Here on Westside, the Marketplace has four different stations to choose from, each having a unique type of food. The stations' themes are sandwiches and wraps, Italian, the grill, and cultural food. A meal swipe at this Marketplace gets you an entrée, side, and a drink. Also located adjacent to the Marketplace is the Daily Grind, where they proudly serve Starbucks coffee and late-night meals and snacks after the Marketplace closes.
