Welcome to Wallace Community College – Sparks Campus – in Eufaula. Administration Building

We're here in the Administration Building on the Sparks Campus in Eufaula. In addition to Academic Classrooms, Administrative Offices, Admissions, Financial Aid, Testing, the Bookstore, and the Business Office, the Administration Building also houses TRiO Programs, including Student Support Services and Talent Search. These programs help hundreds of students every year prepare for college through cultural enrichment, career exploration, and academic programs. And guess what? These services are offered at no charge to students who qualify!

Bevill Center

We're standing in front of the Bevill Center, where you will find the Learning Resources Center (better known as the library or LRC) and the Alabama Technology Network. Ready-to-Work and Certified Nursing Assistant classes are also held here. This beautiful building has a state-of-the-art auditorium that is used by College and community groups alike.

B Building

Adjacent to the Courtyard is the B Building, which houses Applied Engineering Technology and Practical Nursing. Both programs will teach you the latest skills for careers that will be in high demand in tomorrow's workforce.

C Building

The C Building is where two very important labs are located – the Writing Center and the Math Lab. Do you ever need help writing a paper? What's more, name one career where writing isn't required. The Writing Center is here to help you with all of your writing needs. Another important lab in the C Building is the Math Lab. Like writing, good math skills are needed for any career. These labs have state-of-the-art software that lets you learn math at your own pace.

D Building

The Child Development program is located in the D Building. Here, students learn the skills to care for children, and to get them ready for school. Graduates can find jobs as administrators in private preschool programs; as teachers in state pre-kindergarten programs, preschool programs, Head Start, and Early Head Start programs; or as aides in public school systems. Many of our students take Child Development classes which lead to a career where they can have fun while making a difference in children's lives. This building also includes general academics and science classrooms.

I Building

We're standing in front of the I Building, which houses Criminal Justice, Adult Education, and the Welding Technology simulation lab. Wallace offers three concentrations in this Criminal Justice, including forensic investigation, law enforcement, and cyber security/computer forensics. Graduates of these programs go on to exciting careers as forensic technicians, police officers, probation officers, or state troopers. Cyber security and computer forensics is also an in-demand field. Adult Education offers GED preparation classes (which are free), GED testing, and literacy tutoring. Visit the welding simulation lab when you tour the campus, and your ideas about welding will be changed!

J Building

Have you ever considered being a welder? Welding is one of the fastest growing jobs around. As a student, you will begin your training on simulators, located in the I Building, that will teach you the basics and sharpen your skills. Here in the J Building, you will transition to hands-on traditional welding to perfect your skills and capture a well-paying job. The Welding Technology program has short- and long-certificate programs that will get you started in this in-demand career!

This is the H Building, which houses the Engineering Graphics and Animation and Cosmetology Programs. Are you looking for a career where you can use your computer skills to create lasting designs and explore three-dimensional modeling and animation software? Engineering Graphics and Animation is your opening to the exciting field of advanced computerized graphics, graphics communications and the emerging fields of prototype modeling and animation. Students thrive in a creative atmosphere and even produce models on a 3D printer – the future of design technology. The Cosmetology Program offers two concentrations –Cosmetology and Nail Technology– that will get you started on a career in as little as three semesters. Click on the 360 for more information.
