Green Bay Campus – Weidner Center for the Performing Arts

The Weidner Center for the Performing Arts is a beautiful performance hall that hosts internationally-renowned cultural, entertainment and educational performances in a world-class facility. Since opening in 1993, hundreds of artists have graced the stage, including Yo-Yo Ma, Jerry Seinfeld, Bobby McFerrin and Emmylou Harris. Theatrical productions like The Phantom of the Opera, Miss Saigon, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, The Fiddler on the Roof, Cats, and Rent have also visited, delighting students and community members alike.

Here we are at the Student Services building. Student Services support all students at UW-Green Bay with services like the Green Bay One-Stop Shop (GBOSS), the Offices of Admissions, Financial Aid and the Registrar. Whether you have questions about your current or upcoming classes, need assistance with financial aid, or need to update personal information, Student Services can help! This area also offers counseling and health services through the Wellness Center, professional advice through Career Services, Veteran Services, Academic Advising, support through the Dean of Students Office and much more.

Green Bay Campus – Cofrin Library

Cofrin Library is the perfect place to study, grab a bite to eat at the Garden Cafe between classes, or enjoy the best view on campus from the eighth floor. In addition to the library's stacks of greater than 280,000 volumes, the array of Library holdings includes hard copy and electronic historical and contemporary resources, available for research and study. Cofrin Library also houses the University's main administrative offices as well as The Learning Center, a dynamic study and academic support space, located in the Library Commons.

Green Bay Campus – Lab Sciences

The Lab Sciences Building offers state-of-the-art lab facilities, serving students and faculty researching and studying nuclear physics, waste management, soils and geology, as well as the health sciences, like microbiology, biochemistry, kinesiology, physiology, physics, anatomy and nutritional science. Lab Sciences also offers a full greenhouse with additional space devoted to teaching plant and forest pathology, biology and chemistry. This area also provides classrooms and faculty office space, as well as a student computer lab, spacious lounge and study area.

Green Bay Campus – Brown County STEM Innovation Center

Our newest building on campus, the Brown County STEM Innovation Center, is a 63,730 square-foot collaborative space that supports our science, technology, engineering, and math students, faculty, and researchers. This world-class facility for research, learning, community and outreach is also the home of the Richard J. Resch School of Engineering—the newest and only Mechanical Engineering program in Northeast Wisconsin. The building includes spaces like engineering and dietetics labs, independent research offices, and a rooftop patio. The building also features a machine shop, 3D printer and instructional kitchen.

Green Bay Campus – Kress Events Center

The Kress Events Center is UW-Green Bay's venue for Division I athletics, intramural sports, and campus health and wellness. Special programs and events encourage you to stay fit and healthy, no matter your skill level. Try something new, like an aerobics or zumba class, which are free for all students; sign up for an outdoor adventure, which may include activities like kayaking, hiking, or snowshoeing; or see if you can make it to the top of our rock-climbing tower.

Green Bay Campus – Mary Ann Cofrin Hall

There's a very good chance that every student will find themselves in at least one of Mary Ann Cofrin's nearly 21 classrooms, seven specialty laboratories, or 100 offices. The building houses programs like psychology, computer science, communication, and political science. It's also one of our most environmentally-friendly buildings, consuming half the energy of a comparable building. The building's central courtyard features bench seating, a relaxing water feature and plant life that is indigenous to Northeast Wisconsin.

Green Bay Campus – Housing

UW-Green Bay offers three types of housing on campus — residence halls, apartments with private bedrooms, and apartments with shared bedrooms. All of our on-campus living options are fully furnished and include private bathrooms, WiFi, cable TV access, kitchen access, and other recreational amenities to help provide a comfortable and quick transition to college life. Private bedroom apartments offer students the option of having their own bedroom in a four-person, four-bedroom, apartment-style suite, while shared-bedroom apartments offer two bedrooms for four students.

Green Bay Campus – University Union

The University Union is the hub of student life. It features our main campus dining spaces, including a grill, smoothie bar, and coffeehouse that serves Starbucks Coffee. The Union also offers areas to study, relax and enjoy entertainment and special events. It is home to the Phoenix Club, a pub-style underground eatery that also hosts pool tables and other recreational games. Its neighbor, the Commuter Lounge, offers space and resources for commuter students who don't live on campus. If you're looking to get involved in clubs or activities, you'll want to visit the Student Engagement Center, where you can find opportunities to get involved with over 130 student organizations.

The Cofrin Memorial Arboretum forms a natural boundary ‘290 acres’ encircling the UW-Green Bay campus and providing valuable habitat and ecosystem services as well as access for research, field trips, wildlife viewing and recreation. Forests, prairies, ponds, and creeks represent some of the major communities thriving in the Arboretum. The Arboretum also contributes significantly to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay environment, making it one of the most beautiful college campuses in the United States. More than six miles of trails are open to the public for recreation such as walking, hiking, biking, bird-watching, cross-country skiing and more. University and high school classes also make use of the Arboretum for lab exercises, field trips, and student projects.

Founders Hall is home to many of your student essentials, including the Student Services Center where you will find friendly faces to help you navigate everything from financial aid to course registration. You'll also find the campus library, classrooms, the Science Commons, and even a greenhouse. No need to walk outside in the cold or heat. Not only is Founders Hall the home to your academic resource offices, it also features modern classrooms, a printing press, and these impressive science labs. A great destination for students interested in any area of science, the Manitowoc Campus offers hands-on experiences both through the Science Lounge and labs, as well as through outdoor learning spaces. In addition to being the main entrance to the campus, the Acuity Technology Center is the main entrance to the Sheboygan Campuses network of buildings. You will find the campus library, computer labs, and the Information Technology Office. There is just about every resource you will need to excel in your courses.
