University of Toronto is Canada's top university for research and discovery. The Mississauga campus boasts a world-class research environment, and many of our faculty are recognized internationally for their innovative work. $12.8 million in research revenues are generated each year from over 500 research projects taking place at the Mississauga campus. Over the past decade, we've invested half a billion dollars into expanding and improving our infrastructure. We've recently broken ground on a new Science Building, one of the largest capital projects at U of T receiving $20 million in funding. It will house the Centre for Medicinal Chemistry, wet research laboratories, the Research Computing Data Centre, and is expected to be completed by 2023.

We are proud to be part of the University of Toronto Library System; providing access to unparalleled world-class collections held within the 44 libraries of U of T (the largest academic library in Canada, and consistently ranked as one of the top three in North America – in good company with Harvard and Yale). Did you know that the University of Toronto Mississauga's 2020 acquisition of Syd Bolton's Game Collection, makes us home to one of the largest collections of video games, consoles, books and gaming ephemera, in the world and the largest known in Canada. Comprised of 13,000+ assets, this outstanding collection contains complete runs for games on Nintendo-64 and Sony PlayStation. Many of our programs will integrate this exceptional collection through applied learning opportunities.

U of T Mississauga is committed to inclusion and providing access to underrepresented students in their pursuit of post-secondary education. We are dedicated to dismantling barriers that hold anyone from reaching their full potential and strive to provide all students with equal and equitable opportunities to ensure they thrive. BAEE@UTM (Black Access to Educational Excellence) is one example of an initiative that provides prospective Black high school students with supports at U of T Mississauga to assist in the university decision-making process. Prospective Black students are introduced to current Black students, faculty, and a network of resources dedicated to continually supporting them throughout their post-secondary studies at the University of Toronto.

Our award-winning campus is situated on 225 acres of protected greenbelt, a park-like setting along the Credit River, and bounded by safe, residential neighborhoods. U of T Mississauga is a leader in sustainability and progressive food service. Since 2006, all large academic and research capital projects have been built to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified standards. We launched Canada's first-ever certified gluten-free food station at a university campus and became the first campus in Canada to receive silver designation from Fair Trade Canada.

We understand the challenges that come with being a university student, and we're here to help. The Office of the Registrar, the Centre for Student Engagement, International Education Centre, Accessibility Services, The Indigenous Centre, and Interfaith programming are just a few of our award-winning services here to support your success. Not all learning takes place in the classroom, most UTM students participate fully in campus life. Outside the classroom, choose from 180+ student clubs ranging from dance and robotics to special interests like animal rights or e-sports. We also have 30+ programs within sports and recreation from Varsity teams, to tri-campus, intramural teams, and recreational leagues.
