Holland Centennial Commons

The keystone of our campus, the Jeffrey R. Holland Centennial Commons, is a modern 170,000 square foot space that includes the library, classrooms, offices, and meeting and gathering places. On the first floor you’ll find the central hub of our University, where Admissions, Academic Advising, Cashier’s Office, Financial Aid, Registrar, and Scholarships can all be found. You’ll also see our Cloud Wall, which is a 28 feet wide and 22 feet high bookshelf of blank sketchbooks for the purpose of students and faculty alike to share their unique Trailblazer experience. Human Performance Center

This is the Human Performance Center, where the athletic prowess of Trailblazers is developed and facilitated. The HPC houses our Health and Human Performance department, where programs in Exercise Science, Population Health, and Recreation and Sports Management can be found. Built in 2019, the HPC was born out of the idea that students need an active life to complement the active education they receive here. Students are prepared with the skills and knowledge to be competent professionals in the health, fitness, sport and recreation related industries. Human performance labs, athletic training labs, dual-use academic spaces, and a collaborative academic environment maximize active learning in the HPC.

Taylor Health Sciences

Welcome to the Taylor Building, which houses many programs in our College of Health Sciences. Located just minutes from main campus in the St. George Regional Hospital Complex you’ll find a vast array of world-class equipment that students gets hands on access to. Nursing labs, respiratory therapy ventilators, medical radiography machines, EMS mannequins, and a complete dental hygiene clinic are just a few examples of the technology you’ll find here. Named for Russell C. Taylor, who’s philanthropic determination has changed the lives of many in our community, students in our College of Health Sciences leave equipped with the expertise to initiate a positive change in their careers right away.

Campus Housing

Welcome to on-campus housing, or as I should say, welcome home! On-campus housing offers an all-inclusive college living experience. The complexes employ a Resident Life staff who use campus resources to help students successfully navigate college living. You’ll find versatile living spaces, outdoor BBQ’s, fitness rooms, game rooms, and sand volleyball courts. Be sure to check out all of the amenities, including both shared and private living accommodations. Not far away is the Brooks Stop, an on-campus café that provides a wide selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ready-made for students on the go. Look out for Campus View Suites I and II, the newest additions to housing on campus.

Atwood Innovation Plaza

Here at Atwood Innovation Plaza, we give our students the resources to bring their ideas to life. You’ll find our business resource center, where we offer no-cost business consultations to start-up businesses created by our students. Our start-up incubator gives our students’ businesses the edge in a competitive marketplace by helping entrepreneurs nail down the logistics of their business. In our Makerspace, it is a hands-on creation zone outfitted with 3D-Printers, lasers, metal and wood shops that turn students' ideas into a tangible product. Here, we guide students to innovative solutions, which is why we’ve helped students secure a number of patents, trademarks, and copyrights to their unique works.

Athletics

As the home of 15 NCAA Division I athletic programs, there is always plenty to cheer for! Here at Greater Zion Stadium, our student section, known as “the Stampede”, is always wild and ready on game day. Whether it is our 6 Men’s programs or 9 Women’s programs, our Trailblazers are always supported on their quest for victory. You can be a part of the action too within our 19 Intramural sports programs. Intramurals are a fun and competitive outlet for students to compete against one another in a variety of activities. No matter your experience or skill-level, there is an opportunity for all Trailblazers to compete for glory!

Science, Engineering, and Technology Building (SET)

Our Science, Engineering, and Technology Building, known as the SET, is complete with 26 labs and numerous other innovative equipment built to provide our STEM students with cutting-edge equipment and unique learning opportunities. The SET houses a number of innovative technologies, including a modernized anatomy lab with networking capabilities, biotechnology and genetics labs, 3D printers, engineering wind tunnel, laser cutters, wood shop, robotics, and elevated classrooms with stunning campus views. This state of the art building is an example of the institution's commitment to a polytechnic future and puts active learning tools in the hands of our students the moment they hit campus.

Nestled comfortably in sunny St. George, Utah, our school resides in one of the most beautiful communities in the southwest United States. Our community partnerships afford Trailblazers opportunities to get involved with local businesses and organizations to make a real-life difference. Annually, Trailblazers give over 250,000 hours of service across more than 150 service projects year. Our Trailblazer Engagement Center helps link students to organizations who need help, and students have the chance to make meaningful connections and lasting changes the moment they arrive on campus. Our annual Campus to Community event targets areas to help those in need, from packaging meals to community beautification, Trailblazers keep our community thriving.

Eccles Fine Art

The Dolores Dore Eccles Building is the on-campus epicenter for the arts. The Eccles achieves a rare architectural feat by blending a full Art Museum within a building that contains three performance venues that include a 300-seat recital hall and a 500-seat main stage. Whether its theatrical productions, jazz band, choirs, concerts, or even political debates, the Eccles is our versatile on-campus hub for arts and culture. Creative and performing Trailblazers have access to infrastructure in the Eccles that allows them to showcase their skills and express themselves creatively to audiences that gather from across to the southwest to enjoy an array of Trailblazer productions.

Gardner Student Life Center

Bustling with campus life, it would be a challenge to spend some time in the Kenneth N. Gardner Center and leave without having made a friend. The Gardner is an all-encompassing space, housing everything from our Student Government, Campus Store, Cafeteria, Dining Services, Convenience Store, and study spaces. Specifically designed for students to meet, relax, collaborate, and get a good meal, the Gardner truly facilitates the meeting of minds. You’ll find a student run activity practically every week in the Gardner, from comedians, casino nights, school dances, and everything in between. Take a load off and kick your feet up, you’re in the Gardner!

Encampment Mall

We're here at the heartbeat of campus, the Encampment Mall, which in 1861 housed the very first pioneers who settled the St. George area. It is fitting that our University is built around the encampment mall, as it pays homage to the pioneers whose first wishes were to establish a place for higher learning in their community. Spirit and tradition matter here, which is why every Graduation ceremony includes a walk past the encampment mall to honor the Trailblazers who came before us. The industrious pioneer work-ethic and attitude are embedded deeply in the roots of our school, and Trailblazers leave campus ready to make their communities a better place.

Browning

We understand that every student has a unique set of needs, and our Val A. Browning Learning and Resource Center is dedicated to providing the individually tailored resources to give students a boost. Our Student Success Center, Peer Coaching, TRIO, and Veterans programs are specifically designed to give students the resources and support they need to thrive academically and personally on campus. Also housed in the Browning is our Multicultural Inclusion Center, which serves as a hub promoting equity and inclusion on campus and in our community. The resources in the Browning ensure that no matter what, all Trailblazers have access to a community that will help them succeed here.

Jennings Building

Here in the Jennings Building, you’ll find future leaders, media specialists, filmmakers, on-camera talent, producers, directors, and human relationship analysts alike perfecting their craft of understanding and promoting critical thought. Housed in the Jennings, our students receive training in ethics, leadership, critical thinking, and effective interaction skills. Media, Communication, Humanities and Social Science students have access to engaging and career-oriented professors who understand the practical nature of these career paths. Curriculum is built specifically for students to problem-solve, critically think, and analyze real-world situations. The Jennings prepares Trailblazers to work as part of a collaborative team to solve problems, and is a force of good on campus.

Hazy Business

We're here now in the Udvar-Hazy Building, where a comprehensive education in business, management, and accounting awaits. Here at the Hazy you’ll find the full spectrum of business education with degrees in Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Information Systems & Analytics. Success in business means being adaptable, innovative, resourceful, and a leader, and our University puts students right into the real world by offering thousands of internships at local and internationally prominent businesses. In addition, students working in the Tax Clinic gain real-world experience by providing tax services to the community. Students leave the Hazy with the savvy to problem solve and adapt in a changing financial and business climate.

Here at North Campus, education, wellness, and helping others comes first. Our department of Education is renowned for its nationally accredited programs, professional preparedness, and high placement rates. Not far from here is our Booth Wellness Center, where students enjoy free medical and mental health resources to keep their bodies and minds sharp. Also at North Campus is our Disability Resource Center, whose mission is to provide the best accommodations possible for students with disabilities. We also have a world-class Testing Center, where proctors administer university, entrance, and placement exams. Here at North Campus, it's all about providing the resources people need to succeed.
