Student Center

Here is the Student Center, located in the center of campus to allow students easy access to all sorts of amenities. This is the place to go to enjoy activities such as movie nights, guest speakers and musical performances. It is also home to the UCA Bookstore, post office, convenience store, coffee shop, ATM, study lounges and food court. The food court is a campus favorite among students. From pizza to sushi, a quick snack or a caffeine pick-me-up, the Student Center has you covered. The Student Center also houses the offices of Student Life and the Student Government Association.

Welcome to the College of Business. This is where students can prepare themselves for a rewarding career in a variety of competitive business fields. The building is home to a 168-seat auditorium for business lectures and meetings where the business community may combine with faculty expertise for student engagement. This college has one of the most active internship programs in the state, and many major companies in Arkansas recruit at UCA. Premiere companies like Acxiom, Dillard's, J.B. Hunt Transport, Wal-Mart, Maverick, and Hewlett Packard look to our graduates first for new and upcoming business opportunities.

In this academic building, students can find the main office of the Department of Film, Theatre, and Creative Writing and programs and activities of both the School of Communication and the Department of Film, Theatre, and Creative Writing. Students will find classrooms, studios, lab spaces, and lounge areas on the first and second floor of Stanley Russ Hall. UCA journalism and digital film students frequently use this facility as it provides hands-on learning and engagement within the Channel 6 News studio and Echo newsroom.

Reynolds Performance Hall

Here is Reynolds Performance Hall, a 1,200-seat theatre that hosts more than 200 events each year. UCA students frequent Reynolds in order to watch performances of musicals, world-class dance troupes, plays, and musicians. Students receive free or discounted tickets to most of these performances. Reynolds has hosted numerous celebrities over the years, including George Takei, Loretta Lynn, the Temptations, Gladys Knight, Spike Lee, and Nicholas Sparks. Tours include Cats, Legally Blonde, Mamma Mia!, Rent and Cabaret, as well as international touring companies such as the Russian National Ballet and the National Symphony Orchestra.

Student Health

We are standing in front of the Student Health Center, a state-of-the-art facility that houses the University's Student Health Clinic, Women's Health Clinic, Disability Support Services and the Health Promotion and Wellness Center. The Student Health Clinic is free for students and offers a wide range of medical services including labs, x-rays, immunizations and more. The Student Health Center is also home to the Counseling Center, where students can go for access to mental health counseling with our team of counselors and psychologists. The Office of Student Wellness and Development provides students with quality educational events on wellness topics.

Ropes Course/Intramural Fields

The UCA Challenge Course is our next stop. Here the UCA community and even local visitors can participate in outdoor team building activities like zip lines and outdoor climbing walls. The course also includes a 10-obstacle course high static team course, 17 low-team challenges and four stand-along high ropes challenges. The entire course is available to all UCA groups and non-UCA groups by reservation. And the course is located near another outdoor opportunity, the Farris Fields Complex. Offering students a faculty a variety of sports opportunities, this complex features three oversized football fields which can be converted into football or soccer fields for intramural sports.

HPER Center (Gym)

Welcome to the Health, Physical Education, and Recreation Center, better known around here as the HPER Center. Extensive renovations and a 43,227-square-foot addition were completed in 2014. Inside you'll find a 10,000-square-foot weight room, six-lane indoor lap pool, large group exercise classrooms, hydration stations, basketball courts, recreational gaming areas, racquetball courts, a running track, and a cardio room. You will have access to personal trainers and a multitude of fitness classes such as spinning classes, yoga and Zumba. The HPER Center is also home to Campus Outdoor Pursuits & Activities, or COPA, where students may check out outdoor recreational equipment free of charge.

Mashburn Hall

Here we are at Mashburn Hall. This is the facility where our future teachers spend much of their time at UCA, as this is the location for UCA College of Education. The building features office spaces, classrooms, labs, lecture facilities, computer rooms and much more. Students can visit the Mashburn Institute or the Technology Learning Center as they prepare for a career in education. Named after Mr. and Mrs. JD Mashburn, the building was formerly known as the Center for Teaching and Human Development. UCA's earliest beginnings were as a teachers' training college and Mashburn Hall continues to help the university fulfill its legacy.

Farris Hall

We're standing outside of Farris Hall, a residence hall that Honors College students call home. This coed community features single rooms and suite-style living areas, a community-style full kitchen and free on-site laundry facilities. It is conveniently located across the street from the HPER Center and is only a short walk from Estes Stadium and the Student Center. Right outside is the hammock farm, where students can lounge comfortably in hammocks during the warmer months or study in the sunshine on the benches outside.

Conway Hall

Conway Hall is one of twelve traditional style residence halls at UCA. Conveniently located next to the Christian Cafeteria and the Student Center, Conway Hall offers a variety of academic and social activities. The Conway Hall Council is a great way to get involved within the building and provides residents an extra opportunity to make their residence hall feel like a home! Each residence hall has varying ammenities, but all are designed with the goal of connecting fellow residents within the building and ensuring the student's time at UCA feels like home.

Estes Stadium/The Stripes

We've made it to Estes Stadium, home of the UCA Bears football program and famous for its purple and gray striped field, called The Stripes. The facility houses the entire football operation, including a training room, weight room, locker room, as well as team meeting rooms. With a 9,000-seat capacity and the most unique playing surface in college football, Estes Stadium is truly one of the finest in the country. Estes Stadium is also home to one of the largest mascot logos on turf anywhere in the country. The UCA Bear logo behind the south end zone measures 61 feet by 60 feet.

Here we are at the Conway Corporation Center for Sciences. This 50,000 square foot addition to the Lewes Science Center provides state-of-the-art laboratories and scientific facilities. It's three stories tall and LEED certified. Inside you can take advantage of the physics education research labs, an optics lab, an upper-level studies lab, and biophysics lab. If you're looking for an out-of-this-world experience, take a trip to the Dr. Edmond E. Griffin Planetarium located right inside. With two digital projectors and 90 seats, you can experience our universe and beyond.

Integrated Health Science Building

Here we are at the Integrated Health Sciences Building. This new 80,000-square-foot, four-story facility is home to the School of Nursing and the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, along with the Nabholz Center for Healthcare Simulation and Interprofessional Teaching Center to be utilized by the entire College of Health and Behavioral Sciences. The integrated design of the building aims to foster an interprofessional educational environment that is most conducive to replicating real-life health care scenarios. This means students will participate in clinical and simulation experiences that require collaboration with all majors within the college.

Greek Village

We've made it to UCA's Greek Village. Scholarship, leadership, brother and sisterhood, community services, and social activities are just some of the key elements of the Greek experience at UCA. Greek Village is home to the five sororities of the Panhellenic Council, a complex for the sororities and fraternities of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and three fraternity houses. Greek life at UCA offers a wealth of opportunities for engagement throughout campus and an opportunity to connect with students throughout your college experience.

Donaghey Hall

This is Donahey Hall, a four-story mixed-use building that is a favorite for the UCA and local communities. The top three floors are a residential space for upperclassmen. The first floor includes the UCA Welcome Center, where each university tour will begin, and dining options in Einstein Brothers Bagels, Twisted Taco, and Marble Slab Creamery Great American Cookies. There is also the UCA Makerspace, a place designated for students, faculty, staff, and the community to gather and create new projects, and connect with one another. Donaghey Hall makes it easy to take a study break, and make new friends, and connect with the community.

Harding Centennial Plaza (The Fountain)

We're standing in front of one of the most beautiful and recognizable places on campus, the Harding Centennial Plaza, named in honor of UCA alumni Rush and Linda Harding. Occupying nearly two and a half acres on campus, the plaza is very popular among students, faculty, staff, and the Conway community. You can find classes being held around the fountain, students studying in the lush surrounding gardens, and many marriage proposals have happened at the plaza, making it a place where memories are made.
