Welcome to the University of Central Arkansas, located in the heart of the state. Here at UCA, students can experience city life while enjoying the quaint downtown feel of home. We're currently in front of Old Main, a beloved landmark in the heart of campus that houses classrooms and Ida Waldran Auditorium. Old Main has been host to many significant people and events, including a vocal concert by President Harry Truman's daughter, Margaret, and presentations by President Gerald Ford and President Bill Clinton. It is the oldest building on campus and has been a vital part of UCA since it was built in 1919. Student Center

Here is the Student Center, located in the center of campus to allow students easy access to all sorts of amenities. This is the place to go to enjoy activities such as movie nights, guest speakers and musical performances. It is also home to the UCA Bookstore, post office, convenience store, coffee shop, ATM, study lounges and food court. The food court is a campus favorite among students. From pizza to sushi, we've got you covered. Here you can grab quick snacks or run through for a caffeine pick-me-up. The Student Center also houses the offices of Student Life and the Student Government Association.

Bernard Hall

We've made it to Bernard Hall, which is conveniently located adjacent to the Student Center. Student Accounts and the Office of Admissions are located in the front of the building while the back of the building is a residence hall. On the second floor, you'll find Housing & Residence Life and the Office of Diversity and Community. Bernard Hall offers the largest double occupancy rooms on campus, making it very popular among the upperclassmen it houses. The residence hall features free on-site laundry facilities, a community recreation and entertainment lounge and designated student study areas.

Harrin Hall

Harrin Hall is home to the Academic Advising Center and Student Financial Aid. This building is a one-stop-shop for incoming students. You will also find the Office of the Registrar and Veteran Services in Harrin Hall. Whether you need a copy of your transcript, help figuring out your academic scholarship, selecting an advisor, transferring your credits or discussing your upcoming class schedule, Harrin Hall is the place to go. It is a hub of information for students, and our staff is here to help.

McCastlain Hall

Here we are at McCastlain Hall, which was newly renovated in 2016 to restore its original architectural beauty. McCastlain was built in 1939 with economic stimulus money during the Great Depression and served as UCA's first stand-alone cafeteria. Now, it houses the Office of the Dean for the College of Fine Arts and Communication, the Office of International Engagement, Financial Accounting, and the Baum Gallery, which is an educational art museum for UCA students, faculty, staff, and the central Arkansas community. The Black Box Student Gallery is also inside, which hosts student art exhibitions throughout the year. McCastlain Hall is a popular place for students and community members to visit art exhibits, author readings, performances, and musical events.

Welcome to the College of Business Building. This is where students can prepare themselves for a rewarding career in a variety of competitive business fields. The building houses a 168-seat auditorium for business lectures and meetings where the business community may combine with faculty expertise for student engagement. This college has one of the most active internship programs in the state, and many major companies in Arkansas recruit at UCA. Premier companies like Acxiom, Dillard's, J.B. Hunt Transport, Wal-Mart and Hewlett-Packard look to our graduates first for new and upcoming business opportunities.

Reynolds Performance Hall

Here is Reynolds Performance Hall, a 1,200-seat theater that hosts more than 200 events each year. UCA students frequent Reynolds in order to watch performances of musicals, world-class dance troupes, plays, and musicians. Students receive free or discounted tickets to most of these performances. Reynolds has hosted numerous celebrities over the years, including George Takei, Loretta Lynn, the Temptations, Gladys Knight, Spike Lee and Nicholas Sparks. Tours include: Cats, Legally Blonde, Mamma Mia!, Rent, and Cabaret, as well as international touring companies such as the Russian National Ballet and the National Symphony Orchestra.

We have arrived at Farris Field, home of UCA Bears softball. Several renovations and upgrades in recent years have transformed this facility into one that provides a great experience for student-athletes and fans alike. Farris Field has an indoor hitting facility and a state-of-the-art artificial playing surface. An elevated grandstand provides a great view above the playing surface for fans. A large grass berm was added in the outfield — allowing for blankets and lawn chairs — providing fans an alternative to the bleachers. With the addition of the grass berm, Farris Field can accommodate more than 1,000 softball fans. Go Bears!

We are standing in front of the Student Health Center, a state-of-the-art facility that houses the University's Student Health Clinic, Women's Health Clinic, disability support services and the Health Promotion and Wellness Center. The Student Health Clinic is free for students and offers a wide range of medical services including labs, x-rays, immunizations and more. The Student Health Center is also home to the Counseling Center, where students can go for access to mental health counseling with our team of counselors and psychologists. The Office of Student Wellness and Development provides students with quality educational events on wellness topics.

This is the place to be if you're looking for something to fuel you with the nutrition you need for studying, sports or extracurricular activities. Christian Cafeteria specializes in fresh ingredients and diverse tastes for even the pickiest of palates. With more than 11 different meal plan options, students can always find guaranteed value and convenience on campus. Chefs prepare a changing menu of specialties, including hand-made pizza, Asian stir-fry, grilled Panini's, made-to-order omelets and much more! Welcome to the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Center. Better known around here as the HPER Center. Extensive renovations and a 43,227-square-foot addition were completed in 2014. Inside, you'll find a 10,000-square-foot weight room, six-lane indoor lap pool, large group exercise classrooms, hydration stations, basketball courts, recreational gaming areas, racquetball courts, a running track, and a cardio room. You'll have access to personal trainers and a multitude of fitness classes such as spinning classes, yoga, and Zumba. The HPER Center is also home to Campus Outdoor Pursuits & Activities, or COPA, where students may check out outdoor recreational equipment, free of charge!

This coed community features single rooms and suite-style living areas, a community-style full kitchen and free on-site laundry facilities. It is conveniently located across the street from the HPER Center and is only a short walk from Estes Stadium and the Student Center. Right outside is the hammock farm, where students can lounge comfortably in hammocks during the warmer months or study in the sunshine on the benches outside.

This is Bear Hall, one of our most popular residence halls. It features large double rooms and free on-site laundry facilities. Something else that makes Bear Hall unique is the twelve 20-person skyboxes on the fifth floor that offer a fantastic view of Estes Stadium. The fourth floor is home to the EPIC residential college for all residents. EPIC Residential College is an innovative living and learning community that generates an entrepreneurial climate to promote connections with the Conway community. We've made it to Estes Stadium, home of the UCA Bears football program and famous for its purple and gray striped field. The facility houses the entire football operation, including a training room, weight room, locker room, as well as team meeting rooms. With a 9,000-seat capacity and the most unique playing surface in college football, Estes Stadium is truly one of the finest in the country. Estes Stadium is also home to the largest mascot logo on turf anywhere in the country. The UCA Bear logo behind the south end zone measures 61 feet by 60 feet!

We're standing outside of the Farris Center, which houses the home court for the Bears and Sugar Bears, along with a brand new auxiliary gymnasium, offices and locker rooms for the basketball programs, and an athletic training room. If you're looking for a degree in athletic training, exercise science, sport management, sports psychology, or coaching endorsement, the Farris Center is the place to begin your journey. The Farris Center is also a place full of Pomp and Circumstance! This is where you'll toss your cap into the air after you receive your diploma on your graduation day.

Take me out to the ballgame! Here is Bear Stadium, home of UCA Baseball since 2009. Bear Stadium has gone through a number of enhancements to make it one of the premiere baseball facilities in Arkansas and in the Southland Conference. With a new scoreboard, grandstand, and the addition of party decks beyond the outfield wall, it is truly the perfect place to cheer on the Bears while you catch up with fellow students. In 2011, the playing surface underwent a complete transformation with the installation of GeoGreen artificial turf in the infield to ensure our team has every possible advantage.

Here we are at the Physical Therapy Center! The UCA PT Center includes more than 40,000 square feet of teaching, lab and research space and is located across from the Farris Center, between the Prince Center and Estes Stadium. The Department of Physical Therapy is a member of the College of Health and Behavioral Sciences. The Department of Physical Therapy offers a Ph.D. in Physical Therapy, Doctor of Physical Therapy and an accredited Residency in Pediatric Physical Therapy Program. The UCA Department of Physical Therapy began graduating students in 1972 as the very first PT program in the state of Arkansas!

Prince Center

Our next stop is the Prince Center, the home court of the ultra-successful UCA women's volleyball program. The intimate setting of the Prince Center features a true home-court advantage for a team that has made multiple trips to the NCAA Volleyball Tournament. The Prince Center also houses offices for several of UCA's athletic programs, as well as an auxiliary weight room and athletic training room. The Prince Center is known around the Southland Conference as one of the loudest and toughest venues in which to play, at least for the visiting teams.

Here we are at the Conway Corporation Center for Sciences. This 50,000-square-foot-addition to the Lewis Science Center provides state-of-the-art laboratories and scientific facilities. It's three stories tall, and LEED certified. Inside, you can take advantage of the physics education research labs, an optics lab, an upper-level studies lab, and a biophysics lab. If you're looking for an out-of-this-world experience, take a trip to the Dr. Edmond E. Griffin Planetarium, located right inside. With two digital projectors and 90 seats, you can explore our universe and beyond!

Greek Village sits on the northern section of campus. Greek Village opened in August 2015 with houses for the five sororities of the Panhellenic Council and a complex for the National Pan-Hellenic Council, Inc. (NPHC) sororities. Each 10,400-square-foot sorority house includes kitchen and laundry facilities, chapter rooms for meetings and events and living space for up to 32 students. The NPHC Sorority Complex encompasses four 750-square-foot chapter rooms and a common area that bears each organization's shield.

This is Donaghey Hall, a four-story, mix-use building that is a favorite for the UCA Community for its beauty, community, and delicious food! The top three floors serve as a residential space for upperclassmen. The first floor, however, is a completely different story! A Welcome Center, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Twisted Taco, and Marble Slab Creamery/Great American Cookies create additional dining options for the campus community and the opportunity to learn more about our university. There is also the UCA Makerspace, which is a place designated for students, faculty, staff and the community to gather and share resources and knowledge, create new projects, and connect with one another. Donaghey Hall makes it easy to take a study break and make new friends and connect with the community!

This is Thompson Hall, home to the Department of Communication, which includes communication, journalism, public relations, and writing. Named for UCA's seventh president, Win Thompson, Thompson Hall is a place of beauty. It is currently home to the Center for Writing and Communication, where students can go for help and guidance throughout the composing process for any writing project or oral presentation. The Center for Writing and Communication offers a variety of services, ranging from face-to-face tutoring to email sessions. Students who excel in writing and meet all criteria can apply and train to be Center for Writing and Communication consultants to help out their fellow students.

Harding Centennial Plaza

We're standing in front of one of the most beautiful and recognizable places on campus, the Harding Centennial Plaza, named in honor of UCA alumni Rush and Linda Harding. Occupying nearly two and a half acres on campus, the plaza is very popular among students, faculty, staff and the Conway community. You can find classes being held around the fountain, students studying in the lush surrounding gardens, and many marriage proposals have happened at the plaza, making it a place where memories are made.

Torreyson Library

Our last stop is Torreyson Library, a place for learning, studying and community. Torreyson Library has lots of materials that make it the perfect place for meeting up with your study group or working on your research paper. It is also home to Starbucks, making the library a popular place during study sessions or throughout finals week. We have the only 24-hour library in the state, so when school is in session you will always have a quiet place to study! Torreyson Library also houses the Tutoring Services Center, located on the 2nd floor, complete with individual tutoring services for UCA core courses, exam tutorials, quiet study areas, computer labs, treadmill desks and Skype tutoring sessions.
