This is the University Centre, also known as the U.N.C. This building is home to the Welcome Centre, where you'll find people ready to help you with your questions about the campus. Also in the UNC you'll find the GreenText bookstore where you can get all the study materials you'll need for university, and the UBC theatre where you can watch a show or take part in one yourself. Nearby in the same building, there are many student resources available including International Programs and Services. Here international students will find the International Student Advising team who will support you throughout your entire journey. As well, you'll find the Advising and Involvement Centre, the Disability Resource Centre, Student Wellness, and the Math and Science Centre.

The UNC is also home to the Students' Union, where you can learn more about all the clubs on offer, as well as the events on campus. At UBC Okanagan, there are more than a hundred clubs for you to join, covering a wide variety of interests, including academics, athletics, social action, ice cream tasting, and more. If you can't find something that suits your interests, you can start your own club.

UBC Okanagan offers a variety of food that will meet your dietary restrictions and preferences. In the UNC, you can find lots of dining options including the Green Thread Market, The Green Bean coffee shop, Koi Sushi, and the student pub, The Well. Around campus, you'll find even more places to eat, such as the Sunshine Cafeteria for hearty vegan and vegetarian food; Rocket restaurant for salads and sandwiches; Pritchard Dining Hall, which serves a selection of dishes that are all-you-care-to-eat; a variety of coffee shops and sandwich shops; and rotating food trucks. You can also use your flex dollars which are funds in your meal plan on your official student ID (called the UBCcard) to purchase meals at participating off-campus restaurants.

You'll find the Indigenous Centre on the second floor of the UNC building. From outside, you'll see the words "you belong here" written on the window. This space is the heart of the Okanagan campus Indigenous community, and it's designed physically and through its programs to create a sense of belonging for Indigenous students. The Indigenous Programs and Services team is based here, and provides support to First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students. The team can help Indigenous students with personalized academic and career planning, counselling, mental and physical well-being, and offers cultural programming.

This is Nechako. It's one of a number of residences on the Okanagan campus, all of which are wheelchair accessible. UBC offers many different room options across its resident buildings, including suites, one-bedroom studios, and apartments. Wherever you live on campus, you'll have vibrant common areas for snacking and socializing, and plenty of space for quiet study time. You'll also have access to a kitchen, stove, fridge, washer and dryer. If you need someone to talk to, your Residence Advisors provide support, curate social events, and offer you guidance on living in residence.

Here at the library you'll have free and unlimited access to all UBC resources, including its 21 library branches, which make up the second-largest collection in Canada. There are over 100 work stations where you can claim your study spot and access the library catalogue, productivity software, and online resources. Whether you prefer to study alone or in a group, there are plenty of options for you in the library, where you'll find social areas and quiet zones. There are specialized librarians for each area of study who are always happy to help with research projects and academic papers. Laptops and other supplies are available for rental from the bookstore. You'll also find the Writing & Research Centre here, which is a free service you can use to help write and edit your papers. Attached to the library is the Commons, which offers collaborative and flexible learning spaces. Here you can book study spaces for yourself or for your group, including the Commons' impressive Great Hall. Also in the Commons you'll find a 400-seat classroom with state-of-the-art facilities, and the Engagement Theatre, which is an interactive space that has programmable screens for presentations, digital art, and more. In the same building, you can visit the Visualization and Emerging Media Studio, which lets you view and experiment with immersive realities and big data visualization.

The Hangar Fitness and Wellness Centre is home to UBCO Recreation. You don't have to be an elite athlete to stay active at UBC, as the recreation programs and events are open to everyone. The Okanagan campus gymnasium features nearly 17,000 square feet of sprung gym-floor space, with room for four volleyball courts, two basketball courts, or 10 badminton courts. There's a weight room with new circuit machines, cables, and free weights, an indoor running track, and a cardio room. Gym passes are highly affordable and all fitness classes, including yoga and Zumba, are free. You'll also get to enjoy the Hangar's three point five million dollars extension which includes fitness studios, more cardio machines, a sports medicine clinic, and a weight room. If you are looking for competition, you can try out for or support the UBC Okanagan Heat, which are the varsity teams that represent the university in sports including basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, and volleyball.

The Courtyard is located in the centre of campus with access to the Arts, Science, Library, and Administration buildings. This space is great for hanging out and having lunch. Throughout the year, you'll also have the chance to check out fun events in The Courtyard, such as live music, bouncy castles, and faculty battles.

UBC Collegia serve as a home base for students who commute to campus. These locations are designed to help you relax and socialize between classes or after school. They are bright, open spaces with lounge chairs, sofas, and fireplaces, and have full kitchen facilities for you to prepare your lunch, including an oven, microwaves, fridges, dishes, and cutlery. You can also use the Collegia to take a shower after your workout, or secure your things in a locker. If you want to study in your *Collegia*, you'll find secure Wi-Fi and plenty of outlets to charge your devices. When you're feeling more social, there are hubs where you can enjoy board games or cards, or watch a show on the big-screen TV.

The Engineering, Management, and Education building, or E.M.E, is one of the most impressive buildings on campus. It features a glass atrium to provide a bright space for you to study and socialize. You can learn in multipurpose classrooms, project rooms, and laboratory facilities that are designed to bring students together through cross-disciplinary learning opportunities. The EME is home to the Management Student Association, the Engineering Society, and a Collegium. You can also drop by the EME building to de-stress with the BARK! program, which lets you hang out with the on-campus dogs.
