Welcome to University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. UArts offers all the arts and only the arts, through 22 undergraduate majors in visual arts, performing arts, design, and writing, 20 minors in areas like Art History, Business, Creative Arts Therapy, and much more. In a unique environment that encourages risk-taking and exploration, visual artists, dancers, designers, performers, writers, filmmakers, directors, producers, makers, and musicians can find their creative paths across different areas of study. And in our 5-year degree programs in Art Education and Music Education, you can complete your bachelor's degree in four years and your master's degree in one additional year, making you a more competitive, professionally prepared educator. At UArts, you'll experience a diverse artistic community. Dancers, musicians, actors, animators, filmmakers, and photographers share creative spaces. Fine artists work alongside theater artists in a scene shop, illustrators, and graphic designers.
