Every great idea starts somewhere, whether it's with a funny comment, a scribble on a note pad, or a late night at the office. Thoughts become sketches, script writers craft the story, artists create story boards, and the production team starts the search for the right talent, tools, locations and timing. Pre production is an essential part to any project, big or small, and with the right team, there’s never a dull moment during the creative process.

Production is where you begin to take your ideas and turn them into realities. It’s where all the stress, early mornings, late evenings and tension are consumed like the gallons of coffee. Directors, DP’s, production designers, sound engineers, and the clients themselves all collaborate to help tell a moving story. When a shoot wraps everyone is exhausted, and one thing never heard is “that was easy”.

Finally we arrive in the edit suites, where the weeks/months/years of work before are handed off to the guys who love sitting in a dark room and chopping for hours at a time. Never having a fast enough machine to crunch the 2-4-6-8 K. When the product has fully cooked it is seldom what was on a storyboard…mood board…napkin. But most of the time, after all of the elements are in place, it’s better.
