Welcome to the King Plow Arts Center, Home of Terminal West, Stationside and many more artistic businesses. We will be taking a look at Terminal West and it's restaurant Stationside. Located in Atlanta's historic West Midtown district, Terminal West is a 10,000 square feet music and special events venue. An extensive renovation to a 100 year old iron and steel foundry originally used to manufacture plows as a part of the King Plow Company. Featuring high end lighting and sound, leading-edge air conditioning units, and an outdoor roof deck overlooking the historic train tracks of West Atlanta. You are now at the main entrance off West Marietta Street.

The double doors with the train logo represent the main entrance to Terminal West. If patrons bought a ticket to be held at will call those may be picked up at the box office window to the left before entering the venue. Be ready when approaching the door with ID's and tickets in hand!

The interior box office window is where tickets to upcoming shows may be purchased as well as any general questions regarding the venue may be answered with a smile. Most of the bigger named shows will sell out in advance so it's always a good idea to purchase tickets to upcoming shows either while attending or leaving a show or during normal box office hours during the day. The box office is open during the day on Tuesday - Fridays from 11am - 5pm.

Concert Hall

The concert hall or floor area of Terminal West takes up a majority of the space in the venue and is designed to hold over 600 patrons with each space being as desirable as the next for concert listening and viewing. The stage is designed with a state of the art lighting rig and the speakers spread out to fill the room to harmonic perfection. Two full bars are located in either back corner of the room with guaranteed little to no wait time.

Stationside

Stationside offers fresh, locally sourced food in a setting unlike any other in the city. Being attached directly to the Terminal West offers patrons not only an intimate show experience, but also the opportunity to dine in with us while enjoying a show for the evening. With gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options available, there are plenty of tasty menu options to satisfy everyone. The restaurant is during lunch, Tuesday-Friday 11am-2pm, and also open at night during shows at Terminal West. It's a great place to eat while listening to the opening band play.

Counter

The counter at Stationside is where orders are placed and sweet fragrances are enjoyed. The open kitchen design allows patrons to view the cooks preparing meals and see exactly how their food is prepared. Once an order is placed at the counter, a number is given per table and the food will be brought out by a staff member. Don't forget to try a tasty house cocktail or rare craft soda while here.

The Bars at Terminal West are designed with both the consumer and the venue in mind. The beer selection features over 60 different varieties of craft beer all in aluminum cans. The bars also feature a wide selection of over 100+ liquor brands. Ask for a menu to view the speciality cocktails of the evening or glance up at the chalk board for the specials pertaining to that particular show or event. The bars were constructed out of reclaimed wood and bricks from the iron factory that stood here decades ago and adds a defining touch to the venue.

Front of House

To the right is the front of house area where the Lighting Director and Sound Engineer control the lights and sound from during the show. To the left is a large antique furnace that reaches over 50 feet up through the second floor and out the roof of the venue. This is another one of the defining features of Terminal West making visiting the venue a one of a kind experience. The men and women bathrooms are located on either side of the furnace along with an emergency exit in the back.

Railside Bar

Another one of the staple features of Terminal West is the upstairs, outdoor, rail-side bar. Grab a drink while looking through the glass at the show down below and make sure to turn around and admire the passing trains! They are known to go by about every 15 minutes and are truly a site to see at such close proximity. This bar can be one of the most popular locations during the right season and is also equipped with a 30 foot long outdoor heating system for when things get a little chilly.

Balcony

The balcony at Terminal West appears to be a VIP only location upon entrance but is in fact generally always open to everyone. Get here early to grab a seat and catch the show from a birds eye view along the Terminal West balcony. Only a small number of people can occupy the balcony space at the one time but the view is totally worth it, especially with the rail-side bar only a skip away.
