Southern Nazarene University, or SNU is a friendly liberal arts institution with a close-knit community located in Bethany, Oklahoma. SNU prides itself on preparing its students for a smooth transition into the workforce, due to its emphasis on learning practical and current skills. Ludwig Religion Building

The Ludwig Religion Building hosts the School of Theology and Ministry, but also serves as a welcoming sacred space to all of the SNU community. The department prides itself on its commitment to encouraging and challenging its religious studies scholars to promote maximum spiritual and academic growth. The Ludwig Building also demonstrates its support to students of ministry in the enclosed Hall of Witnesses, which pays homage to those who have dedicated their lives to faith.

Cantrell Hall

Cantrell Hall is a 300 seat concert and recital hall, known for its expertly executed acoustic treatment. In addition to its inspiring performance space, the building also contains three studios for students interested in performance and production coursework. The diverse musical programming at Cantrell Hall is illuminated by its collection of first-class instruments, which includes a Schlicker pipe organ, Bosendorfer grand piano, and Sabathil harpsichord.

R.T. Williams Library

The R.T. Williams Library is a centrally-located facility with a number of academic resources for SNU scholars. Students have access to the building's numerous print volumes, online catalogs and databases, reference materials, and governmental documents. The library's third floor hosts the Media Center, and Academic Center For Excellence, which offers hands-on guidance for anyone in need of writing tutoring, study skills, or transitioning into academic life.

Bracken Hall

Located just beside the bustling campus mall, Bracken Hall provides housing for 120 female SNU students. The 8-person units within foster a thriving sense of community amongst the Bracken Hall inhabitants. The building was named for long-time university president, Archie K. Bracken.

Herrick Building and Auditorium

The Herrick Building and Auditorium contains the Departments of English, Speech Communication, and Modern Language. These Communications Departments are complemented nicely by the enclosed Auditorium, which hosts student talent shows, musicals, plays, and inspirational chapel services, making this one of the most frequented campus facilities. You may also find yourself in the Herrick Building to order business cards or posters in the enclosed SNU Print Shop.

Bresee Administration Hall

Bresee Administration Hall is SNU's oldest existing building, and home to a number of essential university departments, including the President's Office, Church Relations, Academic & Financial Affairs, Business Offices, and Reception. The upper level offers classrooms and offices for the Departments of Advancement, Communications and Marketing, and Enrollment. The lower level hosts the Registrar, Financial Assistance, and a popular laptop lab for students in need of a little technological edge in the classroom.

Marchant Alumni and Welcome Center

If you are interested in visiting SNU, you will likely begin your experience at the Marchant Alumni and Welcome Center. In addition to providing information and tours to prospective students, the center serves as a conduit between the campus and its former students, thus strengthening the rich and enduring tapestry of SNU's student body. The building also contains the Fred Floyd Archives, which are made of a number of artifacts from the community's past century.

Broadhurst Center

The Broadhurst Center is a great place to unwind by catching an intramural basketball game, or by joining a league yourself. If you're more interested in solo aerobics, you can also come here to work out in the exercise room, indoor pool, or weight room. The Broadhurst Center is also home to the rapidly-expanding Department of Kinesiology, which offers majors including Athletic Training, Physical Education, Sports Management, and Physical Therapy.

Sawyer Center

The Sawyer Center features a 5,000 seat arena, which hosts the SNU basketball and volleyball teams, as well as the bi-yearly commencement ceremonies. The building also offers a state-of-the-art weight room, walking track, and 16 athletic offices. The Sawyer Center is recognized as one of the country's premier athletic facilities, and it's no wonder it was even once host to the New Orleans Hornets following Hurricane Katrina.

A.M. Hills Residence Hall

The A.M. Hills Residence Hall is a 100,000 square foot building comprised of two smaller complexes called Garey Hall and Jernigan Hall for male and female residents, respectively. Both sides have access to the central Bud Robinson Room on the first floor, which can accommodate over 300 people for group gatherings. The Residence Hall also features a laundry room, and a community kitchen with an oven, which offers a sense of home to the on-campus dwellers.
