Welcome to Southern New Hampshire University! Here, you can explore cutting-edge academic programs, state-of-the-art facilities, D2 sports, over 70 student clubs and organizations, and a beautiful 300-acre campus. Our tour begins in The Gustafson Center, which is home to the Admissions Office and The Career Development Center. Named after the 4th president of SNHU, the Gustafson Center provides several programs and services designed to help students explore options and create a successful career plan. From cover letters and resume writing, to mock interviews and networking skills, our professional staff provides free workshops and programs to help current students and alumni build a career plan to achieve their individual goals.

Wolak Library and Learning Commons

The Library and Learning Commons opened in September 2014, and has many distinctive features—including a café, an innovation lab featuring 3D printers, group study rooms that can be reserved online, dozens of computers and an on-site IT Helpdesk.

The Library is open until 12:45 AM Sunday through Thursday, and until 8 PM Friday and Saturday, and offers expert one-on-one reference assistance in person, by phone, email, and text, and via chat through the Library webpage to help you with research and assignments.

Our online resources are available 24-7, on- or off-campus, and many can be accessed via smartphone or tablet.

School of Engineering, Technology and Aeronautics

The School of Engineering, Technology, and Aeronautics (SETA) is the home for many different STEM programs, including Computer Science, Information Technologies, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and more—complete with design hubs, drone arenas, makerspaces, 3D printing labs and even a wind tunnel. Spaces are outfitted to support your learning and prepare you for your career. In fact, the structure of the building itself reflects stages of the design process. On the first floor, you'll see our design hubs, which are platforms for conceiving and developing ideas to solve assigned problems. These hubs are equipped with interactive technology and ideation space, so students and their peers can brainstorm, organize, and collaborate on ideas.

Once you design your solution, descend into the basement – home of the idea lab – where students can build their prototypes. Whether you're are exploring robotics, materials, optics, electronics, hardware, software, aerodynamics, or structures, you'll have access to tools and supplies to make your projects successful.

On the second-floor, you'll collect test data with state-of the art equipment to iterate on your design. Flight-test your aircraft in our drone lab, or explore materials characteristics in our new materials science lab, equipped with x-ray, scanning electron microscope, universal mechanical tester, and heat treatment oven. You can also try out our 3D printing lab to create parts for your project prototypes.

Kingston Hall Lobby

Now let's take a look at your home away from home. Residence halls are primarily double rooms, with a few singles. They also contain common lounges and bathrooms. Freshman and sophomores usually live within residence halls; this includes Washington, New Castle, Tuckerman, Windsor, Hampton, and our newest resident hall, Kingston.

Modern and comfortable, this 5-story residence hall overlooks campus and has stunning views of the Merrimack River. Throughout the first floor, there is an array of amenities, including a shuffleboard and pool table, study spaces, a computer lab, outdoor patio, and laundry—plus private and group bathrooms on each floor.

All resident halls have a Residence Director, who is a full-time professional staff member, supervising each residential area. They manage the day-to-day operations of the area. They provide many community events to get students out of their rooms and meet other members of the building.

Current SNHU undergrad students also serve as Resident Assistants. There is one RA living in each hallway of the building to help make sure things are running smoothly throughout the building. You may see them in your classes, in the dining hall, or walking about campus. They also promote floor community events so students can get to know one another within their floors.

Monadnock Hall

Apartment living is also an option, typically for Sophomore, Junior and Senior students and their roommates. In Monadnock Hall, for example, apartments feature a full kitchen, full bathroom, and full living room. Apartments like those found in Monadnock typically accommodate 4 students per apartment. Most apartments have double rooms, but some have single rooms available.

Quad

Our next stop is the quad, located in the heart of campus. This greenspace is the central hub that connects residence halls, classes, food, athletics and more. Here, you'll find plenty of outdoor space to eat lunch, study, relax, throw a frisbee, or just enjoy being outside with friends.

Across from the quad is our dining hall, where you can find a variety of food options for every palette.

Mark A. Ouellette Stadium

At the Mark A. Ouellette Stadium, you can hear the roar of the crowd as the Men's and Women's Soccer & Lacrosse teams take to the field. Made of state-of-the-art astroturf, and featuring an 8 lane track, 6 tennis courts, and 1,500 seats, the Mark A. Ouellette Stadium is a destination for SNHU fans and players alike. The Stadium also features a state-of-the-art Fitness Center for all varsity athletes. SNHU is an NCAA Division II school, and is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and the Northeast-10 Conference. SNHU is proud to be the first school in New Hampshire to offer competitive college esports, so you hone your gaming skills against experienced, varsity-level competition.

Athletic Complex

SNHU offers many club and intramural sports for students—like Baseball, Basketball, Dance, Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Tennis, Ultimate Frisbee, Volleyball and more. In addition, there's a robust fitness center for general student use. The facility offers free weights, machine weights, cardiovascular equipment and a climbing wall. Just provide your SNHU ID at the front desk.

Student Center

SNHU's Student Center is a regular resource for on-campus students and commuters alike. Here, you'll find the Mailroom, Bookstore, Concierge Desk, Club Resource Center, Penmen Place, and The Last Chapter Pub—where you can see comedians, bands, karaoke, movies, hypnotists, game shows, and—an SNHU favorite—BINGO. For coffee and bagel fans, we've recently added Einstein Bros to our Student Center amenities.

Here, you'll also find the Wellness Center, which aims to promote the development and integration of intellectual, social, spiritual, physical, emotional, and occupational wellness through education and treatment. Whether it's minor medical attention, counseling services, educational services about healthy living, or referrals to off-campus services, you can find it here—by walk-in or appointment.

Green Center

In the Green Center, you'll find the Office of Academic Advising.

The Academic Advising Office coordinates the university's undergraduate academic advising program, where you'll be assigned a professional academic advisor. After you've chosen a major, you'll be assigned a faculty advisor at the end of your first year, or halfway through your first term for transfer students.

For international Students, the International Student Services office can provide immigration support, transition support, and intercultural learning opportunities.

Also in the Green Center is our Campus Accessibility Center—providing equal access through accommodations to students with documented disabilities.

Here you'll also find our state-of-the-art Esports arena, featuring 18 high-end gaming PCs and broadcasting and streaming capabilities. Whether you want to compete or just play for fun, the Esports arena is open to all students.

Robert Frost Hall

Welcome to Belknap Hall, home of the School of Education. In addition to housing large classrooms, open collaborative spaces, and the offices of School of Education faculty, there's also a project room available for student use, equipped with a printer, laminator, craft supplies, education textbooks, and more. Also featured on the floor plan is a patio facing Robert Frost Hall, a coffee-bar kitchenette, conference rooms, and even a virtual reality room.

Webster Hall

Onto Webster Hall, home to the School of Business, which is the largest School of Business North of Boston. Many undergraduate and graduate classes are held in Webster Hall, which features an International Business Modeling Lab, computer lab, and a student lounge. That's where you'll find the "Webster Café Petit". From September through May, the café cart offers soups, salads, sandwiches and other snacks during lunch and dinner.

Also here is the Center for Financial Studies, equipped with a variety of technologies to provide a real "Wall Street" feel.

The Center is used by Finance classes and other classes with a finance element—like Math and Marketing— and strives to promote financial literacy.

Academic Center Complex

The Academic Center Complex features dining and learning common areas, as well as a Dunkin to help fuel your study days.

The Academic Center also contains four group study rooms available for students to reserve, as well as a 120-person multifunction room available for events and presentations.

Mac Labs and Graphic Design Labs are located on the 2nd floor.
