Welcome to College of the Siskiyous, one Northern California's most beautiful colleges. Our tour starts in the heart of the campus. This grassy area, with a seasonal creek running through it, serves as a gathering place for students and is where many of our campus-sponsored activities take place each semester. Established in 1957, we remain one of 116 California Community Colleges. Our primary campus is located at the base of the majestic Mount Shasta. Our smaller campus in Yreka is just 20 minutes from the California – Oregon border and the site of the Rural Health Sciences Institute (RHSI) and the Technology Training Center. At Siskiyous you're not just a number, you are our number one priority! We all know that the college experience is more than just classes or learning from renowned instructors. Students can participate in clubs, special events, athletics, honors programs, and more with Siskiyous. The John Mantle Student Center is one of our original buildings. Located in the center of campus, it features two large fireplaces and is home to many student success services such as our Veterans Lounge, Outreach and retention, food services, admissions, business office, Human Resources, Instruction, and financial aid. Moreover, do not forget that for those who cannot make it to campus, SISKIYOUS offers a variety of online classes that lead to degrees, certificates, transfer, and can be completed in the comfort of your own home for just $46 a unit for California residents. The college also offers dual enrollment for high school students, so check with your Counselor today. Hershel Meredith Memorial Stadium is the perfect spot to showcase our athletic program and more amazing views from our campus! Siskiyous boasts excellence in athletics with conference championships and state-level competition in both men and women's intercollegiate sports programs. These programs include cross-country, baseball, basketball, volleyball, football, softball, soccer, and track and field. College of the Siskiyous is strongly committed to the physical and emotional well-being of student-athletes. We recognize that great demands are placed on students who participate in intercollegiate athletics, and we are committed to providing support so they can manage these demands and get the most out of their college experience.

Recognized for our excellent programs in the humanities and arts, the sciences and technology, and athletics, we offer a variety of degrees and certificates including options for undecided or transfer students. One of the newest instructional areas at the main campus in Weed is the Science Building. This facility opened in the fall of 2011 and features large lecture style classrooms, science labs and prep areas, instructor offices, and study spaces for students as well as a two-story Atrium featuring plants native to the surrounding area. At College of the Siskiyous, our students are our number one priority and we offer a number of academic support services to help our students be successful and engaged in their learning. The Academic Success Center (ASC) is the college's hub of learning support. Located in the Learning Resources Center at the Weed Campus, the ASC offers both in-person and remote learning support services that help students maximize their learning potential. Also located in the LRC is the Library and Basecamps Headquarters. Here at Siskiyous, we help cultivate healthy mindsets and habits that promote a sense of belonging in college, as well as enhanced academic success and learning confidence.

The Lodges at College of the Siskiyous back up to a beautiful wooded area and feature two buildings, Juniper and Ponderosa Halls, providing space for 154 residents. Residents have two lounges with a TV, video games, pool table, air hockey, ping-pong, and common space to hang out. The Lodges also host community activities such as Casino night, holiday dinners and other events throughout the year. Rooms are single, double or triple occupancy, depending on availability, preference and cost. Living on campus also saves students transportation cost and travel time too! Our Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs are specialized programs that are designed to get you job-ready within two years or less. Certified instructors, hands-on experience, and a quality education are just a few of the perks of being a part of career technical education.

College of the Siskiyous is known for its Performing Arts Program. We offer vocal, instrumental, and theatre opportunities for students. Our 562-seat theater hosts college productions, as well as community events throughout the year. The facility includes a black box micro stage, stage set and design shop, makeup, and music classrooms. Siskiyous also offers visual and fine arts such as ceramics, painting, drawing, and photography. Be sure to stop and take a photo with our William Shakespeare Statue! This art was completed by a former SISKIYOUS student and donated back to the college in the early days. William Shakespeare has appeared in many campus visitors photos over the years!

Welcome to the Siskiyous satellite campus, located in Yreka California, just 30 minutes north of our main campus. This campus serves our students and community with general education courses, health sciences, and manufacturing classes. One such program is nursing, which is located in our state-of-the-art Rural Health Science Institute building. Siskiyous provides programs in Certified Nursing Assistant and Vocational Nursing.

If you want to discover the beautiful environment around Siskiyous, start with our Bear Trail. The Bear Trail is a hiking and running path that goes through the forest and natural beauty surrounding the Weed campus. Surrounded by mountains, forests, lakes, and streams, our natural environment serves as an outdoor workshop for many different classes. Opportunities for outdoor recreation and sports abound with disc golf, hiking, camping, biking, mountain climbing, hunting, fishing, and boating. Students enjoy rafting and kayaking on nearby whitewater rivers during the summer and superb skiing and snowboarding on the beautiful Mount Shasta and Mount Ashland in the winters.
