Administration

The MacDougall Administration Center is located on the north side of campus. MacDougall is where important decisions are made and public records are held. This large structure houses the President and Superintendents' offices and staff as well as meeting facilities for the administration and Board of Trustees.

Bookstore

Here we are at the Campus Bookstore on the east side of campus, next to the Campus Center and the Earth and Biological Science Building. This is where you'll find your textbooks, general books, art supplies and software. You'll also find recycled organizational supplies for class, organic t-shirts, fair-trade jewelry, gym clothes and other SBCC-themed gear.

Business Communication Center

The Business Communication Center is home to SBCC's Business Division. Here students develop skills that prepare them for successful careers in Business from Accounting to International Business, Marketing and Administration. The Division houses five computer labs with a total of 150 computers for classroom and open use. The adjoining West Campus Snack shop is a convenient place to grab a bite in-between classes.

Campus Center

The Campus Center located on the east side of campus. It houses the Cafeteria and East Campus Snack Shop for students looking for a meal or a quick bite. It's also where students can get housing info, find out about free and discounted upcoming campus events, and get involved in student clubs. The Channels, SBCC's student-run print and digital newspaper is also headquartered here at the Campus Center.

Friendship Plaza

Friendship Plaza is located directly in front of the Campus Center and is central to several other buildings. It's the location of student events such as SBCC's Marketplace, festivals, cultural gatherings and demonstrations. There are patio tables available for students with immediate access to Wi-Fi, snacks and full meals in a fresh air, community setting.

Garvin Theatre

The Garvin Theatre is part of the college's Drama Music Complex. The fully updated, energy efficient space hosts world-class productions by the SBCC Theatre Group, student vocalists and musicians, and professional artists. All performances are open to the college and Santa Barbara community. The college's Theatre Arts programming is open to students of all levels interested in gaining experience and training onstage or behind the scenes.

La Playa Stadium

As the name suggests, La Playa stadium is located directly across from the beach, providing an impressive view for Vaqueros football and track and field fans. In addition to hosting meets and games, the stadium is also used for recreational classes. Most Vaqueros athletic teams compete in the Western State Conference.

Luria Library

West campus is where you'll find the Eli Luria Library. The Library houses an extensive print and digital collection as well as helpful staff to ensure you find everything you need. Students can access more than 50 Internet and printer-connected computer workstations at the Cyber Center. Students are also invited to borrow or bring their own laptop; Wi-Fi is available throughout the building. The building houses eight group study rooms. For a snack or coffee break (or just a different spot to study), students can grab a comfy seat at the Buzz Shack.

Student Services

This is the Students Services Building. It's where students come for help with Financial Aid, Housing, or to visit the Health and Wellness Center. This is also where SBCC provides support for International Students, Veterans and Disabled Students. The building is home to Cartwright Learning Resources Center, where students can access learning skills workshops, academic counseling, tutoring and computer workstations.

Winslow Maxwell Overlook

Winslow Maxwell Overlook, tucked up in the easternmost corner of campus, is a popular site for outdoor weddings and SBCC celebrations. It boasts incredible views of the city's edge, the mountains and the harbor below. A stone patio provides a space for seating.
