Salem is one of the most beautiful and historic college campuses in America, an incredible place that prepares students to become the leaders they were born to be.

Health Leadership

In 1772, Salem Academy and College was first for girls and women. Today, we are proud to continue that tradition by becoming the first women-serving colleges to focus on making the word a healthier, better, and more equitable place by training every student – regardless of major – to be ready to take a leadership position in the health arena. Healthcare is the fastest growing industry in the world with hundreds of thousands of open positions, and Salem is your ticket to finding the right position, whether it is in a clinical field, or in environmental health, public health, or another area of health.
