Administration

The Administration Building might actually be the first building you enter at Santa Ana College. The Admissions and Records staff is here to help with your enrollment, and the Counseling staff is here to set you in the right direction. If you're nearing the end of your studies at the college and considering your near future, the University Transfer Center is located here as well. The Administration Building also houses the MESA Study Center, equipped with computers and a tutoring center, to help educationally disadvantaged students to achieve their academic goals.

Cesar Chavez Building

The Cesar Chavez Building is named in honor of civil right leader Cesar Chavez, best known for his non-violent protests in support of migrant farm workers. The building serves Santa Ana's Business Division with certificate programs that include Accounting, Business Administration, Business Applications and Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Management, Marketing, Paralegal and more. The building also features a fully-staffed computing center, the Distance Education Office, and the Public Service Institute, offering college credit seminars led by professional experts.

Fine Arts

The Fine Arts Building is where Santa Ana students hone their creative skills with the guidance of accomplished faculty. Visual artists, communications students, dancers, musicians, theater, T.V. and video artists report here for classes, rehearsals, performances and exhibit openings. The building also hosts one of the college's two award-winning art galleries. The Main Gallery features four exhibits a year and is partnered with the Downtown Artists Village to display six exhibits a year at their location. Each exhibit exposes visitors to top-tier art from around the country and the globe. The college has forged local partnerships in order to connect arts students with grants and scholarships.

Dunlap Hall

Dunlap Hall is home to the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences. Here students pursue a strong Liberal Arts education with access to courses in English, ESL, Modern Languages, Ethnic Studies, Economics, Psychology, Philosophy and more. The Writing Center hosts required labs for students registered in certain classes. Cultural celebrations and other outdoor events take place just west of the Hall in the Fountain and Amphitheater area.

Nealley Library

Nealley Library offers students a comprehensive collection to support their studies in each discipline. Here students can also access media items, a periodicals reading room and an instructional lab. Students who are in work and study mode can make use of the computer stations and group study areas, and when they're nowhere near the library they can still access databases to get their research done.

Planetarium

The Tessmann Planetarium gives the Santa Ana College community and the public an exciting close-up look at the universe. In fact, over 20,000 area children visit the Tessmann Planetarium each year. Visitors can check out any of the Planetarium's six interactive astronomy shows with state-of-the-art LCD projections. Each show lasts about an hour and Q&A sessions give visitors a chance explore their curiosities further.

Russell Hall

Russell Hall is home to the Division of Science, Mathematics and Health Sciences, and also the Division of Human Services & Technology. Here students can gain preparation and degrees for many in-demand careers. Students come to Russell hall for labs, classes and lectures in Biology, Nursing, Medical Assisting, Pharmacy Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Criminal Justice and many more. The Fire Technology program, based out of Russell Hall, enjoys a national reputation and launches many graduates into careers soon after graduation.

Johnson Center

The Johnson Center is a popular multipurpose facility packed with student hangouts and services. The Spot gives students a laid-back place to gather, catch up with friends, play games and find out about upcoming events, students clubs and organizations. Discounted tickets can be purchased through the Business Center. The Don Bookstore on the Center's first floor provides students with access to textbooks, supplies and gear. The Health and Wellness Center provides emergency, medical and psychological services, and is also home to the college's Pre- doctoral Psychology Internship program. There are several student support centers throughout the building.
