The Administration Building is where students and administrators manage the business side of the college. Students can come here to make their tuition payments, purchase bus passes and visit the ESL Center. Administrators manage Palomar staff and make important decisions such as creating plans to improve and expand campus facilities.

The Comet Café, located in the Student Union Building, is a place for students, staff and faculty to relax and fuel up. The Café offers a wide array of casual dining options from world cuisine to pizza, burgers and fries, breakfast foods, sandwiches, soups and made-to-order salads. You can also pick up ready-to-go meals, snacks and drinks on busy days. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are available Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Breakfast and Lunch are available on Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Art Complex is home to many of Palomar's creative facilities. Here students can take a wide range of courses from Ceramics and Jewelry to Graphic Design, Illustration and many more. Along with serious art students, many who take art courses are exploring curiosities or looking to enhance their professional skill set. The Art Complex also houses the Boehm Gallery. The 2,000-square-foot gallery has been featured in several of the nation's top art publications. It houses approximately 250 art works from the fifteenth to the twentieth century and hosts five exhibitions annually.

The Bookstore offers print and digital books for class and for pleasure as well as hardware, software, organizational tools and other supplies for class. Here students can also shop for Palomar apparel and accessories and stock up on supplies for their dorm.

On the ground floor of the Library, Palomar students can access over 140 computers in the Academic Technology Computer Labs (or ATRC). The ATRC includes two classroom labs with 30 computer workstations each. These labs are used for course instruction about 50% of the time, and are open for general student use the other 50%. The central lab contains 80 open access computer workstations. There are also several specialized computers for students with disabilities and for faculty, respectively. The ATRC is open from early morning until late evening Monday through Thursday, with morning and afternoon hours Friday and Saturday.

The Business Administration Building is home to a diverse set of departments. As you might expect, this is where Palomar students study Business Administration. It's also where students take courses in Behavioral and Social Sciences, Graphic Communications, Journalism, and American Indian Studies.

The Student Union is a central place for students to catch up with friends and faculty, pick up class books and supplies, grab a bite to eat and access key student services. In addition to the Bookstore and Cafeteria, students will find both the Student and Faculty/Staff Lounges here. There are also several stops, including the Comet Center, that connect students with campus news and tickets, discounts, testing, and other targeted services. For students who need to access a computer, the lab is located in the Student Affairs Office.

Palomar's Nursing Education and Registered Dental Assisting programs are located here at the Health Science Building. Each program prepares students for a successful career in their respective field. In addition to class, lecture and office space, the facility houses both a Dental Assisting Lab and a Nursing Simulation Lab, which provide all the necessary equipment to give students hands-on, real world training.

The Student Services Center is where Palomar students come to manage their admission to the college, class registration and important records. It's also where students come to find out about Financial Aid, take evaluations, and discuss future academic and career plans. Student- Veterans will find targeted services here, and the college's Governing Board holds meetings in the center as well. Visitors can grab a cup of fresh coffee or a snack at Java City Coffee.
