For over 100 years, NTC has been providing educational services to individuals who are looking to advance in their current career or are reaching for a new and exciting job of the future. Student Life

As you walk through our doors, you'll find a variety of services immediately at your fingertips. Friendly staff members at the information desk may direct you to our Student Services one-stop shop, where you can speak with an advisor, learn more about financial aid, pay your tuition, or meet with a Career Coach.
Just across from the information desk is the Campus Store where you can pick up your textbooks and other supplies for your classes. Located next to the Campus Store is the Student Leadership Center, which offers the combined services of Student Life and Transfer and Career Services, creating opportunities for you to build your leadership skills, get connected to job opportunities, or learn how to transfer to one of NTC's four-year partners.
Connected to the Student Leadership Center, The Den offers you a place to meet other students and unwind by playing a game of ping pong, pool or foosball. With a relaxed atmosphere and extended hours, this is the ideal place for you to study and connect with others. Just outside, the Courtyard features outdoor study spaces and an enclosed gazebo that is often used for student leadership and wellness events.
Timberwolf Union

The Timberwolf Union serves as the hub of NTC's central campus. While you're here, stop in and grab a bite to eat between classes in the Campus Cafe, which serves a diverse menu, including a Starbucks coffee menu. This space also features an Esports Arena. The 1,200 square foot arena features 24 high-end gaming computers, chairs and desks. The space also features a 98” TV for reviewing film as a team, as well as a three additional 55” TVs with console gaming stations. A broadcast room is attached to the arena for casters and analysts to live stream and commentate on games. Students can also take advantage of the multi-sport simulator, which allows students to actively participate in a number of different sports including golf, soccer, baseball, basketball and football as well as other fun activities.
Spoons / Culinary Lab

Spoons Restaurant is the dining space that supports the Culinary Arts program. The restaurant features seating to accommodate up to 90 people, as well as a reception station and bar that fully simulate all aspects of the restaurant industry. Connected to Spoons Restaurant, the Culinary Lab features commercial grade cooking stations and restaurant-grade equipment and tools used by students and community members who take cooking classes.
Studio Max Salon & Spa

Studio Max Salon & Spa features 20 styling stations, eight manicure/pedicure chairs, two facial tables and four shampoo stations that are designed to provide customers with a comfortable, modern salon experience. NTC's Cosmetology students provide all services under the watch of a licensed professional instructor.
STEM Center

NTC's STEM Center is a hands-on learning space that features advanced technology, collaborative learning spaces, 3D Printing, a science lab and *Nanotechnology*. The STEM Center also proudly hosts summer camps for our K–12 learners each year as well as activities and trainings for outside groups.
Automotive Lab

NTC's automotive programs are certified by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation. In the Automotive Lab, students perform customer work on actual vehicles. Through the use of state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, students inspect and repair all mechanical aspects of vehicles.
Machine Tool Lab

NTC offers one- and two-year technical diplomas in Machine Tool. Students start by using manual *lathes* and mills, and later get into working with CNC equipment, a horizontal CNC mill and a five-axis machining center. Evening and open lab options are available to individuals who are currently employed.
Welding Lab

NTC trains a large number of students in its Welding Lab, which features over 50 welding bays in a clean, bright environment. All four manual welding processes are taught in one-year technical diploma formats. A second year of instruction is also available for students who want to get a leg up on the competition by learning about fabrication, automation and robotics. The lab features cutting-edge technology, such as a 3 kilowatt fiber optic laser, precision layout tables, four industrial sized welding robots and an 120-ton CNC controlled brake press. Students also receive the opportunity to fabricate large projects and work with an overhead crane to maneuver those projects.
Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence

NTC's Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Center of Excellence is a 14,500 square foot facility that houses flexible and accessible manufacturing instruction. The Center aims to enhance the image of manufacturing and provides a flexible space for student and business use.
While students in many programs utilize this space, the flagship program for this lab is the Electromechanical Technology Associate Degree. Students in this program design, implement and repair automation, electrical and mechanical equipment in large industrial facilities. The Center also provides hands-on instruction for our Automation Systems Technology Associate Degree program which prepares learners to work with integrated machine systems that involve industrial automation, robotics, mechanics, computers, industrial communications and/or electronics technology. This space also includes two classrooms with the latest technology including 3D printers, Laser Engravers, a Water Jet Cutter, Collaborative Robots, Autonomous Vehicles and a variety of smart sensors.
A newly added Industry 4.0 – Smart Manufacturing Lab is a flex lab space that features a self-running “lights-out” manufacturing cell with the capability to create and assemble items using advanced sensor and control technology without the human oversight required in more traditional manufacturing.
iTEC Lab

The Information Technology Entrepreneurial Center, or *iTEC* lab, is chalk full of cutting-edge technology. The iTEC is not just a physical space, but a collaborative learning environment that will serve as an incubator for entrepreneurial-minded individuals who will go on to change lives within our community. Technology in the iTEC includes PC integrated TVs, computers, mobile devices, Android and Windows coffee table touchscreens, drones and more. The center features a classroom as well as smaller regional collaboration rooms, where students can connect with team members from other NTC campuses through distance learning technology.
A Building

The A Building is home to the School of Business and School of Liberal Arts Transfer, Education and General Studies offices. This area of campus features a Network/Unified Communications Lab, Hardware Computer Lab, and several other classroom computer labs that aid in student learning.
Timberwolf Learning Commons

The Timberwolf Learning Commons includes access to the IT Help Desk, Academic Resource Center (*ARC*) and Library. The NTC Library supports college programs by providing a supportive staff for research help and access to the library's online resources, which includes a large online collection of eBooks, streaming videos and other materials that can be accessed 24/7. The library also has laptop checkouts and study spaces for both collaborative projects and distraction-free workspace that you can use during their extended night and weekend hours. The ARC and library spaces are connected by a doorway, providing students easy access to academic support and specialized tutoring. Students can also visit the IT Help Desk which is located at the front of the service counter to receive technology support services. The College Prep Center is located adjacent to the Timberwolf Learning Commons and offers a wide variety of academic services to members of the community including current and potential NTC students, dislocated and incumbent workers and those in need of a high school credential.
Center for Health Sciences

Just across the street from the main building at the Wausau campus is the Center for Health Sciences. This four-story building is home to NTC's cutting-edge health programs. The first floor houses a state-of-the-art Professional Conference Center, as well as a fully functioning non-restorative Dental Clinic, which is one of the largest dental education facilities in the state. On the second floor you will find NTC's Simulation Center consisting of bed labs, hospital and clinic suites and a Health Learning Resources Lab replicating a real clinical environment for multiple accredited health programs including Nursing and Medical Assistant. The third floor is utilized for General Science labs and accredited Surgical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Technician and Radiography programs.
Timberwolf Suites

Located adjacent to the NTC Wausau Campus, Timberwolf Suites is a privately owned student apartment community that features fully furnished apartments and property amenities including study rooms, high speed internet and a fitness center. Multiple floor plan options are available to suit your individual needs.
Agriculture Center of Excellence

Located just north of NTC's Wausau campus is the Agriculture Center of Excellence. The facility provides the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the management of the herd, nutrition, crops, equipment and business. The Agriculture Center of Excellence is a fully operating dairy farm located on a 110-acre site that encompasses cropland and pastureland, along with woodlands and wetlands. The facility features state-of-the-art technology including automated equipment for milking, calf feeding, and barn cleaning, a Student Engagement Center, a Veterinary Learning Lab and a greenhouse. This site is also home to NTC's Electrical Power Distribution and Gas Utility Construction and Service programs.
