Behrakis Health Sciences Center

The Bouvé College of Health Sciences is located in the Behrakis Health Sciences Center, bringing the schools of Health Professions, Nursing, and Pharmacy together. These cutting-edge facilities encourage interdisciplinary, and experiential learning, leading to an inter-professional education for well-rounded, patient-centered health care. Facilities include the Arnold S. Goldstein Laboratory Suite, where simulation scenarios are designed to mimic real-life clinical situations without placing actual patients at risk, as well as the Speech and Hearing Center. Also included are the Human Anatomy Lab and the neuroanatomy, osteology, and pharmacy practice laboratories. Bouvé's world-class faculty are leading national conversations in science, practice, and policy that will shape healthcare into the future.

Centennial Common

This is Centennial Common, one of the largest green spaces on campus, where you will often see students congregate to study, hang out with friends, and enjoy the outdoors. Surrounding Centennial Common, you will notice buildings where the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, the College of Arts, Media and Design, the Explore Program for undeclared students, and the Peer Mentoring Program are located. Regardless of your college or program, you will be actively engaged and supported by faculty and staff, academic advisors, and peers.

International Village

Welcome to International Village, a LEED Gold certified 1,200 bed residence hall that opened in 2009. which houses students from all class years. The dining hall in International Village has an international theme with cuisines including tandoori, sushi, pizza, and a kosher kitchen. First year students are required to have a weekly meal plan, which can be used in any of the three dining halls, as well as other locations on campus. You can also use your Husky Card at more than 100 restaurants and close to campus!

Snell Enginering

Created in 1909, the College of Engineering was the first school at Northeastern to implement cooperative education. Over the past century, this interactive learning environment has nourished the student eager to pursue advanced studies and the entrepreneurial spirit of those who have gone on to found successful companies around the world. Behind the Snell Library you'll find the home of the College of Science. The College of Science offers distinguished programs in fields that are at the forefront of discovery, invention, and innovation. These programs, in physical sciences, life sciences, and mathematics, give students a deep understanding of emerging fields such as chemical biology, cognition and neuroscience, environmental and marine science, biochemistry, nanoscience, and network science. You will also find that many students in the College of Science, as well as other programs, follow a PreMed or PreHealth track.

ISEC

The Interdisciplinary Science and Engineering Complex is a 200,000 square foot hub for collaborative research, and was recently named the most beautiful building in Boston. ISEC contains classroom space, informal gathering and study space, and wet and dry lab spaces for research clusters, which are collaborative research teams. ISEC was built upon Northeastern's global goals of collaboration and innovation, which extends to our more than 40 research centers and eight university-wide institutes. Research opportunities at Northeastern are open and available to students of all majors, not just the sciences, and can begin your first year. We are proud that Northeastern is a Top Tier R1 research facility.

Snell Library

Welcome to Snell Library, the 24/7 hub of academic life on campus where many of my classmates and I come to study, work on group projects and take advantage of the innovative technology available in the Digital Media Commons, housed on the first two floors on the library. The Digital Media Commons features state-of-the-art technology including a 3D printing lab, recording studio, group workrooms, plug-in stations for laptops and a wireless printing system. The library is also home to Argo Tea and a number of quiet floors and silent study space featuring beautiful city views.

Curry Student Center

The Curry Student Center is the crossroads for community life at Northeastern. Here you'll find many student-centered offices, the Bookstore, Afterhours entertainment venue, dance studios, food court, study spaces, and more. The Center for Student Involvement supports more than 500 student organizations. Additionally, students can get involved in the John D. O'Bryant African American Institute, The Asian American Center, The Latinx Student Cultural Center, and The LGBTQA Resource Center, which all provide programming, leadership and mentorship opportunities to students. The Center of Community Service facilitates partnerships and programs that connect community assets with university resources. Within CCS is the Service-Learning program, which integrates classroom and community goals through service partnerships.

Ell Hall

Welcome to Ell Hall and the famous Husky Statue! Here you'll find many important campus offices and venues that help to create a welcoming community. The Center for Spirituality, Dialogue and Service supports the spiritual and religious lives of all Northeastern community members, and is home to the Sacred Space, a multi-faith area for worship, private contemplation, yoga, meditation, and special events. The Office of Global Services is a critical resource for international students, scholars, and their families as they get acclimated to life at Northeastern, providing support and professional expertise to ensure that our students acculturate, maintain compliance, and are fully supported through their all their Northeastern experiences.  When you visit campus, make sure you rub the Husky's nose for good luck!

Krentzman Quad

Welcome to Krentzman Quad. Here is Dodge Hall, home to the D'Amore-McKim School of Business, which has two undergraduate degree programs: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in International Business degrees. Northeastern's business school model focuses on experiential learning, globalization, technology-enabled learning, and a rich mix of foundational and translational research – which is well-suited to meet the evolving needs of today's business student and our society. The Global Experience Office is located across the quad in Richards Hall, offering unique short-term and semester-long international study programs. One of our signature global experiences is the N.U.in Program, which all applicants are considered for during the application process, where you'll spend your first semester at a global location, returning to the Boston campus in the spring. This is an admissions decision you could receive as part of our application process. Richards Hall is also home to Student Financial Services, where our financial aid advisors are ready to support you through your educational journey.

Matthews Arena

Matthews Arena is the oldest functioning indoor arena in the world. It is a true Boston landmark as the original home of the Boston Bruins and Celtics. Northeastern Men's and Women's Hockey teams practice and compete here, as does Men's Basketball. During hockey games, the balcony transforms into the Doghouse - the student cheering section. We root on the basketball team by sitting courtside in the N Zone. Northeastern has 18 Division I athletic programs! Did you know that before there was a Fenway Park, there was Huntington Avenue Grounds? There is a plaque and statue of Cy Young where the pitcher's mound and home plate used to be.

Stetson East

Stetson East is one of our first-year residence halls. All first-year students will live in a Living and Learning Community or LLC, which is a portion of a residence hall where students share a common lifestyle or academic interest. LLCs create warm, friendly places to share your hopes and dreams - and fulfill them. All first-year students will choose from over 20 different Living and Learning Communities to live in. University housing is required for both first- and second-year students. After your second year you can choose to live off-campus or continue living in university housing.

Marino Center

Welcome to The Marino Center. This is the largest fitness center on campus and offers over 250 pieces of cardiovascular equipment and weights, two full-sized basketball courts, a futsal court, and a suspended track and free weight room. In addition, Marino houses three group fitness studios including the Revolutionz Spin Studio. Students may also sign up to work out with a personal trainer. All instructors and personal trainers are current students who are trained and certified. Marino is also the hub for club and intramural sports, and Northeastern currently supports the most club sports teams among the colleges and universities in New England with over 50 teams.

Stearns Hall

Through Northeastern's signature co-op program, students take knowledge and skills learned in class and apply them to real world situations by working full-time at co-ops throughout the US and all over the world. Students integrate their co-op experiences into their classroom learning, which enriches not only their learning environment but also that of their peers. In Stearns Center, the Co-op Connections office is available to assist Northeastern students with issues ranging from housing and transportation to relocation resources as they prepare for and depart on co-op. Also, in Stearns is the Office of Employer Engagement and Career Design. This office provides a range of services including career counseling for career and graduate school options, resume workshops, and access to career fairs, among other resources.

West Village H

West Village H is home to the Khoury College of Computer Sciences. Founded in 1982, Khoury College was the first college in the nation devoted to Computer Science. A major focus of Khoury undergraduate programs is combining a strong conceptual foundation of computing with an important application domain, all within the context of cooperative education. Within the Computer Science major, there is a concentration in Cyber Operations, one of four programs selected by the National Security Agency as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations Program.

West Village Quad

The West Village Residence Halls house over 1,500 upper-class students in apartment-style living, meaning students have a kitchen, living room and bathroom, in addition to traditional bedrooms. Students often relax on the West Village Quad, play Frisbee or lounge around after class in the Adirondack chairs, which are made of recycled plastic. There is so much green space that Northeastern is officially an arboretum. It's easy to forget that Northeastern's 73-acre campus is right in the middle of the city. Further, we embrace environmental sustainability as a core value across all aspects of the university, and has pledged to reduce its carbon footprint by 80% by 2050.
