Russell J. Salvatore Dining Commons

Welcome to the Russell J. Salvatore Dining Commons. The dining commons offers residents and commuter students a place to gather, share ideas, and choose from a wide variety of food options that are selected with student preferences in mind. There's constant rotating dining options and all of your go-to favorites. Late night dining and events are always in full swing at the dining commons. This space was designed by students and features phone charging stations, big-screen TV's and an outdoor patio. To access the dining commons students select one of our flexible dining plans or pay as they go.

Gallagher Center

Welcome to the hub of Niagara University, the Gallagher Center. The home of Campus Activities, Multicultural Affairs, Campus Ministry and our student government, the Gallagher Center is also the place to be between classes. In Gally, you can find a food court, coffee shop, a convenience store, and more, along with plenty of hang out spaces to study, have a snack, or catch up with friends. When the semester begins, students head upstairs to our 2,400-seat gym, which is always packed for sporting events. Not a week goes by that there isn't an event or activity hosted in the Gallagher Center.

O'Shea Hall Fire pit

Warm up at the firepit located outside of O'Shea Hall. O'Shea is one of our seven spacious residence halls and is equipped with floor-level study rooms, free laundry facilities, and recreational spaces. The Nest, our state-of-the art sports lounge and gaming area, is located in this hall, where students can watch sports, movies, and attend student-run events. When the weather warms up, you can find students playing yard games, sitting by the fireplace and hanging out on the front lawn known as "O'Shea beach."

Kiernan Recreation Center

Niagara University's all-in-one recreation complex offers more than 50 intramural sports and clubs, a variety of recreational facilities, and in-person and online fitness and wellness programs. The Kiernan Center included a six-lane swimming pool, four basketball courts, a racquetball court, fitness center, and much more. Right outside the center is our turf athletic fields, tennis courts, rugby pitch, baseball field, and basketball courts. Students have an all-access pass to these facilities and programs, including rental equipment.

B. Thomas Golisano Center for Integrated Sciences

The B. Thomas Golisano Center for Integrated Sciences is the center of our natural science programs on campus, including biology, environmental science, chemistry, and more. The 50,000-square foot science center houses 18 laboratories, supporting studies of nuclear magnetic resonance, tissue culture, imaging, plant growth, radioisotope storage, and numerous other functions. In addition to the comprehensive lab space, the Golisano Center features private study spaces, a science library, and convenient conference rooms.

Dunleavy Hall

Dunleavy Hall is home to the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Nursing. On any given day, a classroom in Dunleavy is used for instruction for a variety of majors, from nursing and political science to philosophy and communication studies. Dunleavy is equipped with a modern TV production studio where students can gain hands-on experience working on ESPN broadcasts and video production projects. Dunleavy is also where you'll find our state-of-the-art $1.5 million Nursing Simulation Center that provides students the opportunity to learn to manage patient encounters in a risk-free, virtual reality environment.

Village of Lewiston

Located less than 5 minutes away from Niagara University's campus, the Village of Lewiston is a great place to dine, shop, and visit. Lewiston provides students daytime study spots and walkable shopping, as well as nighttime live music and a variety of dining options. In Lewiston you'll find a variety of festivals celebrating food, fine arts, historic houses, harvest, and the Annual Peach Festival. Lewiston is home to one of the top 100 Amphitheaters in the world at Artpark, which delivers more than 100 summer events on 150 acres of scenic park space. There is plenty to do in historic Lewiston.

Academic Complex & Bisgrove Hall

Check out Bisgrove Hall, home of Niagara University's AACSB-accredited College of Business Administration, ranked among the best in the world at providing students with real-world business experience. Our state-of-the-art facility features a Financial Services lab, cutting-edge business technology, and a trading room that will make you feel like you're on Wall Street. Attached is the Academic Complex, which houses our accredited College of Education. The Academic Complex is stocked with model classrooms, smartboards, and technology to foster future educators to learn both in-person and online instruction.

Next up is Glynn Hall. Glynn Hall houses Niagara's internationally acclaimed College of Hospitality and Tourism Management on it's top floor. Throughout the building there are lecture halls, meeting spaces, and a formal banquet facility. In my opinion, the most impressive view of the Niagara River Gorge can be found from Glynn Hall.

Castellani Art Museum

On the east side of campus is the majestic Castellani Art Museum. Inside the Castellani's white-gray marbled walls lives a beautiful gallery that holds a permanent collection of more than 5,000 artworks. The museum's 20-foot high central exhibition hall and flanking galleries frame an exceptional compilation of paintings, sculptures, drawings, and prints that represent major aesthetic trends in modern art from the 20th century to the present. Even better is that each exhibition is accompanied by artist talks, workshops, and other forms of educational programming. Best of all? Admission is always free!

Varsity Village

Varsity Village is a series of six Tudor-style houses that once stood on the bank of a small lake that existed on campus. Today, these unique residences are home to NU's living-learning communities, which offer students the opportunity to live collectively in a house based on shared hobbies, experiences, cultural interests, and identities. Each unit features a lounge with a kitchenette and bathroom on each floor – not to mention a location smack dab in the middle of campus.

Tailored to meet differing study preferences, NU's library offers an abundance of group study areas furnished with comfortable chairs and couches as well as private cubicles for students who choose to read by themselves. Dwyer Arena

The Dwyer Ice Arena houses two regulation size rinks, a pro shop, concession area, training rooms, climate-controlled premium seating area, and a presidential suite. The facility opened in 1996, the year Niagara University's men's team entered Division I hockey. The 2,100-seat facility open skating is available to NU students throughout the year.

Eagle Circle Apartments

Welcome to NU’s Student Apartment Complex, the "home away from home" for nearly 200 upperclassmen. Opened in 2002, Niagara University's student apartment complex features 48 student apartments spread out over six buildings. Each of the 1,300-square-foot living areas is designed to house four students, furnishing them with two bathrooms, a full kitchen and air conditioning, plus high-speed Internet access.

As one of the oldest professional theatre training programs in the region, Niagara University is well-known for preparing students for careers that take them anywhere from Broadway to Hollywood, through our intense and unique BFA conservatory theatre programs. Alumni Hall

Originally constructed in 1874, Alumni Hall stands today as the second oldest building on campus, exhibiting the proud heritage of Niagara throughout the structure. Alumni Hall houses administrative offices and Alumni Chapel, where Catholic Masses are celebrated daily, while interfaith services are held throughout the year. Located 10 minutes from campus is the awe-inspiring scenery of Niagara Falls State Park. Niagara Falls features miles of hiking trails, interactive exhibits, and ample dining options throughout the year. Want to get up close and personal to the falls? Take a ride on the Maid of the Mist, a double-decker boat tour of the American falls, onto the Basin of the Horseshoe Falls. Or experience the Cave of the Winds, a one-of-a-kind attraction that takes you within feet of the bottom of the falls. There is plenty to explore at this wonder of the world.
