Seton Center

Seton Center houses our Fifth Third Bank Hall, Seton Center Residence Hall, and much more. Our Career and Experiential Education Center boasts an amazing reputation for preparing our students professionally and offers cooperative education, service learning, and unique professional development opportunities. The Learning Center houses our Writing, Math, and Science Centers; peer tutoring; academic support for students with disabilities; and individualized assistance with study skills. Our Lions Den is a recreation space where our students enjoy games and TV. Seton Center also houses a 24-hour campus market that sells light fair, classrooms, lounge spaces, a 24-hour computer lab, and our Campus Police station.

Fifth Third Bank Hall

Our Fifth Third Bank Hall is the main dining option on-campus and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner during the academic school year. It is buffet-style and is always stocked with a wide variety of healthy and delicious hot and cold options! The staff does an amazing job of getting to know our students and will accommodate dietary needs and food preferences. We have two other dining options on campus as well, Starbucks and the Harrington Food Court.

Seton Residence Hall

The Seton Residence Hall can house roughly 500 students and is the only on-campus housing option. Our room options include singles, doubles, and suites; featured in the 360 photo is a Center Suite. Our Center Suites are apartment-style options which contain a living room, a bathroom, and two bedrooms. Students that live in the residence hall experience the benefits of building new, long-lasting relationships, having their classrooms next door and helpful resources nearby, and being minutes away from one of the country's premier emerging cities. Parking is convenient, hassle-free, and at no extra cost for our students. All students are welcome to have a car on-campus.

Mater Dei Chapel

The Mount is a Catholic institution founded in 1920 by the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati. Their vision and values continue to guide the Mount community and influence the student experience. Students are encouraged to discover and develop their faith and engage in their spiritual journey. The Mater Dei Chapel's inspiring sacred art and stained-glass windows were designed by Mount art students in the 1960's under the direction of Sister Augusta Zimmer, a Sister of Charity. In addition to weekly Sunday Mass and a Non-Denominational Service, we provide student-led bible study, retreats, service experiences, and other opportunities for spiritual enrichment.

Aquinas Hall - Nursing Skill Labs

The Nursing Skill Labs combine the atmosphere of the hospital environment with sophisticated simulation technology. In these lab settings, students learn to perform skills and interact with patients in a realistic environment. Each of the twelve hospital “rooms” are set up with equipment similar to health care facilities. Equipment such as mechanical lifts, heart and lung sound simulations, and IV simulators allow students to demonstrate competence with skills before going to the clinical arena. Students can expect at least one simulated clinical experience per semester. Nursing students have 24-7 access to the labs for practice.

Physician Assistant Skills Lab

The Physician Assistant Skills Lab is where our PA students put what they’ve learned in class into practice. No two days are alike in the lab. You might see our students practicing with our sims, suturing, or splinting and casting each other's arms and legs. Students learn everything from lumbar puncture, removing foreign objects from the eye, to using our portable, state-of-the-art ultrasound equipment. Students have access to the lab in-between classes in order to practice their IV, airway management, and NG tube skills.

Archbishop Alter Library

Along with being a quiet place to study, the Library is a vital tool for research. This three-level space offers a large Reading Room, a group study space, peaceful study nooks, and Starbucks. Our students have access to community computers, books, journals, videos, Interlibrary Loan, and OhioLINK. OhioLINK connects our library with other libraries throughout the state. This enables students to borrow books, articles, and essays electronically and have study materials conveniently sent to the Archbishop Alter Library.

Campus Quad

Gracing the center of our Quad is the statue of our patron saint, St. Joseph. The Quad offers easy access to all parts of campus. Students can conveniently get from one side to the next within a few minutes. When Sister of Charity, Maria Corona Molloy built this campus in 1962, she envisioned a quad that would be an oasis from the outside world. She chose trees and plants that reflected a botanical diversity and brought splashes of color throughout the seasons. You'll find students, faculty, and staff relaxing, studying, and socializing in this greenspace.

University Theatre

Our University Theatre hosts our large university events, lectures, music concerts, and theatre performances. The stage is forty feet wide, has a full-fly system, LED lighting and effects, and a Dante sound system, all providing a multi-faceted, professional-level experience. The house sits over one thousand guests and is one of the largest, performance spaces in the region. It also serves as a meeting and performance space for the greater community. In addition to the backstage theatre shop, there is a rehearsal room under the stage, as well as four dressing rooms. It is home to our theatre program, MSJ Theatre Arts, and our student organization, Theatre Lab.

Each lab in the Science Building offers our students unique, hands-on experiences! In this building you can study a wide range of topics preparing you for a career in the Behavioral and Natural Sciences, Health Sciences, and more. You can dive into a ton of interesting material - from genetics, to environmental sustainability, to human society and relationships, to computer science & programming, to the diversity of organisms that share our home on Earth. Centennial Field House

Welcome to the state-of-the-art Centennial Field House and Austin E. Knowlton Recreation and Fitness Center! Students have access to an indoor, NCAA regulation-size track, practice and training spaces, a fitness center, locker rooms, and multi-purpose workout areas. The field house boasts energy-efficient features, houses our virtual Athletic Hall of Fame, and allows the Mount to host indoor Track and Field events. This new facility is the only one of its kind in the Cincinnati region.

Jean Patrice Harrington, SC, Student Center

Our Harrington Center houses our gym, Mosaic Cross Cultural and Inclusion Center, and many student resources. Our Charlotte Schmidlapp Children's Center provides excellent, safe, and affordable childcare to our students, faculty, and staff. Our Harrington Center Food Court is a quick and convenient dining option for our students on-the-go and also serves as a laid back, hangout spot. The Roar Store sells a variety of Mount gear as well as daily essentials. Our Student Organization Center is a space for our student orgs to hold meetings, share resources, hangout and prepare programming. Our Wellness Center is available to all students for both Health Services and Mental Health Counseling.

MOSAIC Cross Cultural & Inclusion Center

The Mount's new MOSAIC Cross Cultural and Inclusion Center offers a safe space for students to make connections and embrace new perspectives in an accepting environment, as they explore how to create and inspire meaningful change. Nicknamed, "The Family Room," the MOSAIC Center defines the Mount's commitment to a lasting legacy for diversity and inclusion, a cornerstone of the mission of the University. All students are welcome to attend MOCAIC Center events, workshops, and programs or to just stop by to hangout with friends.

Harrington Center Gym

The Harrington Center Gym is home to our Basketball, Dance, Cheer, Wrestling, and Volleyball teams. In addition to intercollegiate sports, we also offer intramural sports and other health and wellness opportunities. Our gym, indoor track, weight room, cardio room, and racquetball courts are available to all students. The Mount is NCAA Division III, offers 20+ athletic programs, and competes in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. As a student, you can attend sporting events for free using your student ID.

Dorothy Meyer Ziv Art Building

The Dorothy Meyer Ziv Art Building houses our art gallery, 3D printers, green room, recording studio, Mac Lab, and classroom spaces. Our art gallery, Studio San Giuseppe, hosts exhibitions from nationally-recognized artists, along with artwork from our students and faculty. All exhibits are free for Mount students to attend. Classes regularly use the gallery for artistic inspiration and reference. It serves a critical function as a space to practice analysis and critique of contemporary work. Students can also have hands-on opportunities to learn gallery management while solving practical problems in gallery work such as contacting artists, handling contracts, and sales in a professional art gallery.

Sports Complex

Our Sports Complex houses Schueler Field, locker rooms, and athletic training facilities. Schueler Field is home to the Football, Lacrosse, Soccer, and Track & Field teams. The Mount is NCAA Division III, offers 20+ athletic programs, and competes in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. As a student, you can attend sporting events for free using your student ID. Nearby our Sports Complex, you will find Lions Park. Lions Park is a great, outdoor space used for tailgating before games, student activities, and relaxing.

Health Sciences Center

Our Health Sciences Center is located up the street from campus. The center includes a large, versatile lab space, an inpatient lab with hospital beds and monitoring equipment, classroom space, a kitchenette, and a study area. The tables in our large lab have padded plinth covers enabling students to immediately practice what they’ve seen in class through demonstration. This lab is also reconfigured to fit the ever-changing needs of a class. One day the lab may serve as a rehab clinic, while the next it might be used for a class focused on neuro concerns or orthopedics. You will find graduate-level students lounging, studying, and socializing in this center.
