Welcome to Mississippi College School of Law. Our law school is located in the heart of Downtown Jackson, the hub of Mississippi. Jackson is the largest city in the state and is the legal, governmental, business, medical and cultural center of Mississippi. As you tour our charming campus, I hope that you can see yourself here as a student.

Lobby of the Law School

As you walk into the law school, you will enter through the lobby of the Administration Building. Donated to Mississippi College School of Law by United Gas Pipeline in the late 1970s, we have maintained the original ArtDeco style in the lobby. As the hub of MC Law, this building houses some classrooms, Dean's offices, administrative offices, and faculty offices.

Connected to the Administrative Building, you will find the Classroom Building. Many of your 1L and required upper level courses will be held in this building. As you walk through the common areas, you will see students studying or discussing cases for class.

This is a typical classroom for Mississippi College School of Law. As you can see, the classroom is spacious enough to seat a large class but designed so that you are never too far from the professor. Need a hot cup of coffee? A place to eat your lunch and visit with friends? Our student center is the destination for you. In addition to our cafe, you will find our bookstore and auditorium in our student center.
Rosenblatt Patio

Named after our Dean Emeritus, the Rosenblatt Patio features a serene fountain, renowned art from the undergraduate campus, and inscribed bricks purchaed in honor or memory of alumni or friends of MC Law. Nestled between the classroom building and the student center, the Rosenblatt Patio is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the outside on a sunny day.
State Capitol

Located just a couple of blocks from Mississippi College School of Law is the Mississippi State Capitol. Our location in Downtown Jackson allows you to conveniently participate in state activites such as government, politics, and business while in law school.
State Supreme Court

The Mississippi Supreme Court houses the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals. With local, state, and federal courthouses within blocks of the law school, you have the opportunity to interact with the bench and the bar. In addition, a number of judges, justices, and attorneys teach at MC Law, allowing you to gain first hand knowledge from them and make personal connections. Connections that will make you more comfortable when you are ready to begin your law career and help you find a job not only in Jackson, but anywhere in the United States.
