Located in a beautiful pastoral setting, Judson's 90-acre main campus is nestled along the Fox River in Elgin, Illinois, a city of 110,000 people. Tyler Creek runs through the middle of campus and a forest preserve is within walking distance of campus. Situated at the Northwestern edge of Chicago, the campus is only a 40-mile drive or train ride to Chicago. With its parks, architecture, professional sports teams, performing and visual arts, Chicago provides many entertainment and cultural options, as well as a whole world of internship and student-teaching opportunities. Judson serves more than 1,200 traditional, adult and graduate students on its two campuses.

Herrick Chapel is the spiritual center of the Judson University campus. Chapel is held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. and all traditional students are expected to attend a set amount per semester. Adult and graduate students also have opportunities to enjoy chapel. Chapel events range from performances by student-led worship bands to speakers from all over the world. Students can take part in Chapel Drama and Dance teams as well as in Praise-and-Worship bands. The Chapel also hosts many special events and concerts during the year.

Wilson Hall

Wilson Hall is a residence hall for freshman guys and some upperclassmen. The first floor of Wilson Hall offers community bathrooms, rooms three times larger than in the floors above, a rec room, laundry room, prayer room, kitchen, and movie theater. The second and third floors have "suite-style" rooms with two students to a room and shared bathrooms between every two rooms. The Eyrie, located at the upper entrance of Wilson Hall, is a co-ed lounge where students study, relax, and hold dorm events and socials.

HAWAC

The Harm A. Weber Academic Center, or HAWAC, houses Judson University's School of Art, Design and Architecture and the Benjamin P. Browne Library. It is one of the greenest academic buildings in the United States and has a LEED Gold ® Certification. HAWAC's construction uses advanced air flow technology that moves air naturally rather than mechanically, natural lighting to minimize electricity use, and thick concrete walls that moderate the indoor temperature. The building includes work spaces for art, design, and architecture students, classrooms, an art gallery, many computer labs and study areas, a photo lab and woodshop. HAWAC is also home to Jerry's Café, a full service coffee, tea, and smoothie café that serves drinks and snacks at affordable prices.

Lindner Tower trail

Lindner Tower is a renovated seven-story hotel that serves multiple functions on campus. The first floor contains faculty offices, the Registrar's Office, a commuter lounge, Eagle Lounge a computer lab, and several classrooms. The second floor is home to the School of Leadership and Business and the University Career and Academic Center which provides free tutoring and career guidance to students and alumni. The third floor is home to two computer labs and faculty offices. The fifth and sixth floors house upperclassmen women and the seventh floor houses upperclassmen men. Each of these floors has its own laundry room, study room, kitchen, and lounge. The larger fifth floor lounge also serves as a co-ed hangout area and center for socials and dorm events.

Center for Science and Math

The Center for Science and Mathematics is home to classrooms and labs for math, biology, chemistry, environmental science, pre-med and other science majors. The center gives students hands on experience and includes chemistry labs, a microbiology lab, and research space for science and chemistry majors. Students here get hands on experience in small classrooms and study within a rigorous academic setting that prepares them to excel in the professional world.

Barton House is the first stop for prospective students arriving on campus. It houses the Admissions Department and admissions counselors, and is the spot to come to request more information or get a tour of Judson's campus. The building also houses the university's Communications and Marketing Office.

The Lindner Fitness Center contains classrooms, two courts for basketball and volleyball, two racquetball courts, locker rooms for varsity and JV athletes, a weight room, a workout room with exercise machines, and a 200 meter indoor jogging track. The Fitness Center is home to over 15 athletic teams and several intramural sports teams. The Judson Eagles have a proud legacy including Coach Steve Burke who led Judson's Soccer teams to great success, becoming the winningest coach in NAIA history in 2011.

The University Center houses a variety of campus services. The first floor includes a large study area for commuter and resident students as well as the Campus Safety Office, which handles parking permits and regularly patrols the campus. The second floor includes the Student Accounts Office where students can check their bill, arrange payment plans, and request funds from their account, Financial Aid Office where students can get help with their scholarships, grants, and student loans and the Information Technology Department where students can get assistance troubleshooting computer issues.

The Betty Lindner Campus Commons houses the Campus Post Office, Bookstore, and Dining Hall. The Post Office offers a variety of mail delivery services, allowing students to stay in touch with family and friends back home. Next to the Post Office, the bookstore offers all the textbooks students need for classes at competitive prices as well as other supplies and Judson apparel. Across from the Bookstore is the Dining Hall, where students have a variety of great meal options served seven days a week. The Upper Commons houses offices for Student Development, computer stations, a study area that looks out over the Fox River, and a lounge and TV area favored by both residents and commuters.

Volkman Hall

Overlooking the woods and creek, Volkman Hall has apartment-style living that is generally awarded to upperclassmen based on merit and course load. The building is divided into sections reserved for male students and sections for female students. Apartments vary in size, but most are shared by four or six students. Volkman also has a block of apartments reserved for married couples living on campus. The dorms include a kitchenette, bedroom, and living and working area that give upperclassmen students more independent living.

Thompson Center

The Edward and Alice Thompson Center is home to the Center for Worship in the Performing Arts that includes the Music, Worship Arts, and Speech Communication and Performing Arts departments. The main floor contains the Marjorie Thulin Performance Hall, where students participate in theatre and music productions as well as special movie showings and events. The main floor also contains classrooms, studios and practice spaces for piano and percussion. The bottom level includes a professional music-recording studio built by popular Christian band Citizen Way, a workshop for building theatre sets, and Wanderlust Productions, an independent film company run by Judson Artist in Residence Darren Wilson.

Creekside South is home to Judson University's School of Education which offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in education related fields. Students here study to become educators at all levels, from early childhood to high school and college. Creekside South includes state of the art classrooms that utilize Smartboard technology, an extensive teaching resource library, and a reading library with popular children's books.

Both athletes and fans favor Judson's athletics fields. Fans are close to the action at Judson's soccer and lacrosse field, which sits atop a hill overlooking the beautiful Fox River. The baseball field is exceptionally maintained and a favorite playing spot for the Judson baseball team and guest teams that use the field during the off-season. Judson's softball field offers top-notch experiences for athletes and was even used in the past by the Chicago Bandits, a professional women's softball team. Located along Tyler Creek behind the baseball field, Judson's six tennis courts give tennis players considerable practice time compared to universities twice the size.
