This is the hub of student life and where you can find many of the offices you might need to visit. Inside are the Financial Aid, Registrar and Admissions Offices as well as Academic Advising, Student Life and the Office of Diversity Initiatives & Intercultural Relations. The Dean of Students Office is located in the Student Affairs and Enrollment Management Office, next to the Office of Admissions. You can stop by the bookstore to buy or rent your textbooks or in between classes for last-minute supplies. You'll also find the UNG apparel you want, like t-shirts, hoodies and more. The Student Center is a great place to meet up with friends for lunch or a game of table tennis or pool. There is plenty of space for you to hang out or work on school work in between classes. Many of our over 80 campus organizations meet on campus in this building. This building also features a Non-Traditional Student Resource Lounge, a great place to find all of the information you need. We are now heading out to the Science, Engineering & Technology Building.

We are now at the J. Foster Watkins building, home of the Math and Computer Science Departments along with the ACTT (Academic, Computing, Testing & Tutoring) Center. The ACTT Center is free for all UNG students and is a tremendous resource. There are tutors and labs for Math, Physics, and Chemistry. The ACTT Center is also home to the second largest computer lab on campus. Many students come to the ACTT Center to work on homework, knowing that someone is available to answer any questions that might arise. Along with hosting the second largest computer lab, there are many tables available for those who bring their own laptops or need to work in groups. Next door, we will see the Administration Building.

We are now standing outside the administration building. Inside you will find the business affairs office where you can pay your tuition and fees and pick up a refund check. The College Foundation, part of the Office of Advancement located in this building, raises money for scholarships for UNG students. The offices of Public Relations, Human Resources, Academic Affairs, and Alumni Relations are located here. We will now cross the street to the Continuing Education & Performing Arts Building.

On the very edge of our 160-acre campus, we have a great set of running and mountain bike trails that students and staff use for exercise or to unwind at the end of the day. If you are passionate about mountain biking, UNG is part of the SORBA – Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association. The association promotes mountain biking, environmental awareness, and community service. So if you love to mountain bike, SORBA is for you!
