Panther Plaza

Panther Plaza, located just outside Denius Student Center, is a gathering place and special events destination for Panthers and visitors. Outdoor events ranging from community BBQ's to Florida Tech's International Festival are held here throughout the academic year. Concerts and other outdoor entertainment are held at The Panthereum amphitheatre, just across the lawn.

Denius Student Center

Denius Student Center, conveniently located across from the Academic Quad, is home to several key student services and activities on campus. The offices of Student Life and Student Activities are found here, as well as one of the institute's three dining facilities, a post office, and the SUB café and deli, where students and faculty often converge.

Evans Library

The Evans Library, located in the heart of campus, offers Florida Tech students and faculty access to national and international collections ranging from applied and fundamental sciences to business, psychology and humanities. The library also features The Applied Computing Center, Internet-ready work terminals, study rooms, and an Academic Support Center. A "Silent Zone" is located on the library's' fourth floor. The library is open from 8 a.m. to midnight, Monday through Thursday, Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Library resources are also available online.

Skurla Hall

The fully-accredited College of Aeronautics is located here in Skurla Hall, in the center of campus. The college offers seven Bachelor's degrees in Aviation and Aeronautical Science, as well as two Master's in Aviation and Aviation Human Factors. The two-floor facility features state-of-the-art classrooms and equipment, air traffic control labs, classrooms, offices and a 140-seat auditorium.

F.W. Olin Life Sciences Building

This is the F.W. Olin Life Sciences Building, located next to the Engineering Complex and just off of Country Club Road. The two-story, 37,000-square-foot facility is home to Florida Tech's biological sciences and serves as a research base for many leaders of the state's scientific community. Significant discoveries and invigorating discussions take place within these walls. The building features thoroughly-outfitted teaching laboratories, research laboratories and a conference room on the building's second floor.

F.W. Olin Engineering Complex

Florida Tech's College of Engineering is based here at The F.W. Olin Engineering Complex. The impressive 68,500-square-foot facility houses 26 research laboratories and several Applied Science departments including computer sciences, civil engineering, chemical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, management and more. The office of the dean is located on the building's third floor.

Olin Physical Sciences Center

The nearly 70,000-square-foot Olin Physical Sciences Center houses Florida Tech's physics, chemistry and space science departments, as well as the College of Science dean's office. Here students and faculty have access to 21 modern research laboratories and 14 teaching laboratories including a geospace lab equipped for spacecraft instrumentation and a high bay physics research hall. Arguably the most impressive feature of the building is an Internet-ready classroom located on the roof, where the largest research-quality telescope in the state of Florida was installed.

Harris Center for Science and Engineering

One of Florida Tech's newest additions, the 27,723-square-foot Harris Center for Science and Engineering is home to the Harris Institute for Assured Information. With funding from Harris Corporation and the community, the cyber research center is dedicated to researching solutions to "global information security problems," not only for government application, but also for businesses and individuals. The Institute has access to offices, computer labs and a media presentation area. The other two floors of the building house computer and biological science classrooms, offices and labs.

Charles and Ruth Clemente Center for Sports and Recreation

The Charles and Ruth Clemente Center for Sports and Recreation is a 58,000-square-foot multipurpose facility. In addition to hosting annual events such as commencement, the center houses both an intramural and a varsity gym, a spacious fitness center, athletics offices and dining facilities. Students can take advantage of group fitness classes offered here, as well as the nearby aquatics center.

Botanical Garden

This is Florida Tech's Botanical Garden, a beautiful representation of our tropical campus flora, and just one of the special features of our main campus. Approximately 60 species of palms, along with oaks, red maples and other jungle plant life line the 15-acre garden that connects academic buildings to the residential Columbia Village.
