Hoeffner Science and Technology Center

At more than 130,000 square feet, the Science and Technology Center or "Sci Tech" is home to teaching & research laboratories, numerous classrooms, faculty offices, an auditorium, a wildlife museum, a planetarium, and an observatory. Many students conduct their undergraduate research projects and spend time studying in "Sci Tech." You’ll also find the computer security lab, labs for microbiology, chemistry and robotics in Sci-Tech.

Who doesn't love a great meal? The Dansbury Commons dining hall offers a comfortable atmosphere for students to relax while they enjoy a delicious pizza or baked pasta from Trattoria, fresh rolled sushi at Hashi, or an allergen-friendly meal from True Balance. Students can also grab food on the go at Starbucks or Center Court in the student union, with offerings from student favorites like the new B+F grill, Topio's Pizza, and an ESU staple – Warrior Wraps.

What’s your style? ESU provides many housing options including traditional style residence halls, suite-style living and apartment style options. Living on campus is a great way to build strong friendships, many of which last a lifetime. Whatever you choose, know that you'll have access to several lounge areas, recreational centers, and free laundry facilities - a big plus on a tight budget.

Kemp Library

Welcome to Kemp Library. A great place to find a quiet spot to study or to meet with others to work on group projects. Our library is home to the Warrior Tutoring Center and the Writing Studio. The tutoring center is the place to go to improve your grades or enhance the quality of your work. Make an appointment online! – it's that easy. The Writing Studio is where to go for help with ANY writing assignment from essays to research papers. At Kemp Library you can also access full-text databases, get help with reference materials, use electronic resources, or find government documents. You can also take advantage of one of the computer labs, or borrow a laptop or calculator for use in your residence hall room. Without a doubt, Kemp will become a valuable resource for the next four years.

Fine and Performing Arts Center

ESU's celebrated Fine Arts complex offers two cutting edge performing arts spaces: the 330-seat Smith- McFarland Theatre and the 100-seat Dale Snow Theater. The Fine and Performing Arts Center hosts theatre productions, musical performances, and art exhibits. Whether you are a performer, artist, or audience member, the events in this building will enrich your time on campus. The center is also home to the state-of-the-art 3D printing studio, a ceramic studio, a recital hall and dance studio -all to prepare students for the growing demand of technicians, designers, and modelers in an array of fields such as art, product design, entertainment, manufacturing, and fashion.

Mattioli Recreation Center

The Mattioli Recreation Center, our 58,000 square foot facility, is the ideal spot to spend your free time throughout the day. We offer a welcoming atmosphere where you can achieve fitness goals and meet your recreational needs. DeNike (Health Sciences)

DeNike Center for Human Services includes classrooms and laboratory areas for the health studies, public health and nursing departments. Our state-of-the -art simulation lab is designed to provide immersive learning experiences for healthcare students. The lab, which consists of realistic-looking clinical rooms, manikins and equipment, allows learners to practice and develop clinical expertise, skill acquisition, and promotes critical thinking and judgements -- without any risk of patient harm. Also, being just steps away from one of our clinical partners, Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono, gives our students access to real world experiences.

Joseph H. and Mildred E. Beers Lecture Hall

You could find yourself in Beers Lecture Hall quite a bit by attending a class, a meeting or checking out a special presentation. ESU has partnered with Crayola in the development of a Crayola Executive Lecture Series. This lecture series offers students an opportunity to learn more about the career options, business challenges, life experiences and educational opportunities of a special guest. It is where you can learn how to be successful from the experts in their field!

University Center

Centrally located, the "union" is a great place to hang out with friends between classes. It's home to the student activity association, the university bookstore, e-card center, P S E C U credit union, career and workforce development, and commuter services. It's also where you'll attend campus club meetings or join a Greek Life organization. You'll also find opportunities to volunteer, or gain leadership experience with the Student Senate. The food court in Center Court is also a terrific spot to grab a quick bite.

Welcome to Gregory-Douds Field at Eiler-Martin Stadium, where Warriors compete in football, soccer and outdoor track and field. ESU is proud to have 13 woman's and 7 men's division 2 sports teams. This is a great place to talk about the proud tradition of Warrior Athletics. Our 500+ student-athletes and Warrior alumni are competitors, champions, and scholars, producing more than 300 All-Americans & winning national and conference championships. Our student athletes achieve an academic success rate above the national average. Whether you participate on the field, on the court, or cheer on the Warriors from the stands, it's easy to catch the Warriors team spirit!

Originally built as a gymnasium in 1940, Zimbar Hall is now home to the Student Enrollment Center. This campus landmark is the hub of all student services, a one-stop shop where you can get help with course scheduling, financial aid, and paying your tuition. You'll also find the Veterans Services Center and the Transfer Center right here.

Innovation Center

Welcome to ESU's Innovation Center, located about a mile from campus but easily accessible using the University's shuttle. The Center is the hub for innovation and entrepreneurship at ESU. The Innovation Center houses a business accelerator program, the University's nationally recognized Northeast Wildlife Genetics Lab, and the largest tick research lab in the nation. The newest addition -- the Warrior Launchpad is where ESU students literally "launch" businesses. We are proud of our successful ESU alums who started here as entrepreneurs: Dan Dizio - the founder of the Philly Pretzel Factory and DJ Mastronardo secured funding for Nardo's Naturals on Shark Tank.

Stony Acres

As a member of the Warrior family, you'll have life long access to Stony Acres, ESU's wildlife sanctuary located 15 miles away in Marshalls Creek. If you enjoy the great outdoors and a sense of adventure, this place is for you. Stony Acres offers recreational activities throughout the year. You can enjoy hiking, camping in a rustic cabin, volleyball, fishing, canoeing, ice skating, zip lining, mud runs, paintball, and more. Stony Acres is also a site for student research projects, leadership training, team building, and communication retreats.

Once your classes are over and papers are written, it's time to relax and unwind with friends. Downtown East Stroudsburg and Stroudsburg offer quaint shops, local restaurants, and special events throughout the year. During the spring and summer, visit the farmer's market in East Stroudsburg or go hiking at Bushkill Falls. The fall and winter are perfect if you love outdoor activities such as rafting, skiing, hiking, biking or snowboarding, or spending time at one of the local indoor water parks or ski resorts, the Pocono region has it all.

Rosenkrans

Rosenkrans opened its doors in 1959 and now houses two media labs. The digital media lab is where students go to create and explore areas of photography, graphics and publishing, and interactive and social media. The unique and powerful Alien computer lab is where students can experience many aspects of media from video and TV production to web design and digital graphics.

McGarry Communications Center

The McGarry Communications Center is a hidden gem and houses 2 TV studios and a licensed FM radio station, WESS, which plays music and talk radio 24 hours a day. The facilities can be utilized by the university to create both live and recorded productions with state-of-the-art equipment. The television studios can be transformed into many sets, even virtual sets using advanced technology! Many students come here to study digital media, photography, and TV and video production, to name a few. At ESU, we continue to offer students cutting edge technology and a wide range of coursework to prepare them for success in the 21st century.

Monroe Hall

Welcome to Monroe Hall, one of the oldest buildings on campus and today is one of our academic buildings, housing 2 computer labs, 4 classrooms, a lecture hall, faculty offices and ESU's Speech and Hearing Clinic. This clinic offers students the chance to participate in experiential learning opportunities and is a significant resource for the community. Both undergraduate and graduate students practice their clinical skills here as a speech-language pathologist, teacher of the deaf or audiologist. Both undergraduate and graduate students work alongside faculty in our Speech & Hearing Clinic to offer services to community members before heading to externships in schools, hospitals or rehabilitation settings.

Lehigh Valley Center

Located at 60 West Broad Street in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, the Lehigh Valley Center is just a 35-minute drive from ESU's main campus. The Lehigh Valley Center provides a convenient, accessible, and affordable education – things we know are important to you. Graduate and doctoral students who are likely juggling work and family obligations, find this a very convenient place to take classes. Programs ranging from accelerated undergraduate degree completion to executive-model doctoral programs are housed at our Lehigh Valley Center. In addition to serving students in the region, the Lehigh Valley Center is a great place to hold meetings and events.
