Welcome to Concordia University Ann Arbor, a Lutheran university located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, one of the top college towns in America. We will begin our tour here, at the *Earhart* Manor. Built in 1936 by Harry B. Earhart, this impressive historic building now serves as the Office of Admission. When you arrive on campus for a visit, you will meet here with your Admission Counselor to go over the application process and any questions you may have about what Concordia has to offer you. Central Campus

Central campus is a constant hub of activity, located directly at the center of Concordia’s 187 acre property. Within steps, you can visit the Zimmerman Library, Student Services Building, Student Union, Chapel of the Holy Trinity, or academic buildings. A unique aspect of Concordia’s campus is that it takes no more than 5 minutes to walk to any of the central campus buildings. Students love the convenience!

By choosing Concordia University Ann Arbor, you are choosing to join an active and supportive community. At the center of our community lies the Student Service Building. Here you will be able to access the Career Engagement Studio, Campus Safety, the Academic office, and Student Engagement staff. As a Cardinal, you will find many different ways to get involved on campus, and this building is a great place to start when looking for these opportunities. At the welcome desk, you will be greeted by a student ambassador who will assist in answering any questions that you might have.

Student Union

Concordia's Student Union is home to all sorts of student amenities including a fitness center, game room, cardinal cafe, and - most notably - The Cardinal's Nest. At the Nest you’ll find coffee, tasty pastries, smoothies, and a selection of grab & go items to satisfy your cravings. It’s a great place to grab a bite to eat with friends or to work on assignments. Plus, the Nest has one of the best campus views of the *Huron* River! Concordia’s spirit-wear store, The Egg, is also located in The Nest. If you want to sport Cardinal red, we’ve got it. Sweatshirts, polos, t-shirts, umbrellas, coffee mugs, hats, and more!

Chapel of the Holy Trinity

Located in the heart of Concordia’s campus, The Chapel of the Holy Trinity gives students, faculty, and staff a place to gather and worship. Daily Chapel is held each weekday at 10:30 a.m., and all meetings and classes are paused to allow students the option to attend - and you will find that many do! While each gathering varies in musical and service style, all worship is centered on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The Daily Chapel messages emphasize a weekly series or theme, allowing for continuity and connection. The Chapel of the Holy Trinity is also host to many instrumental and chorale concerts throughout the year as well as campus ministry activities.

Kreft Center for the Arts

The Kreft Center for the Arts has long been the creative hub of Concordia, a place where students and the community are inspired through the fine arts to grow in mind, body and spirit. In recent years, the Kreft Center received a major facelift to truly match the aesthetic of the creatives who frequent the space. Kreft Arts Program at Concordia strives to inspire the artistic, intellectual, and creative experiences of its students and the community. A trip through the Kreft building will engage both your eyes and your ears, with student artwork on display for all to see and the soothing sounds of vocal and instrumental lessons filling the halls.

Zimmerman Library

Zimmerman Library is here for all your scholastic, research and recreational reading needs! You’ll quickly learn that this is a hot spot on campus where students can be found working at one of our 26 computer workstations, gathered in a collaborative study space, or kicking back on a comfy couch to prepare for an afternoon exam. We offer a large variety of scholastic print, electronic, and audio/visual resources for students, faculty and staff. As a student, you will have access to over 140 databases to supplement your studies and over 100,000 books to browse. Additional services and accommodations include the Academic Resource Center (ARC), Training and Testing Center (TTC), and the Computer Science Lab.

In an effort to provide you with a rigorous understanding of the world around you, we offer three science laboratory spaces devoted to physics, biology, and chemistry. The science building is home to each of these labs, along with a state-of-the-art lecture hall that promotes a collaborative learning environment. Fun fact: the science lecture hall is the largest classroom on campus! Did you know that the student to faculty ratio is 11:1 across all of campus? This creates a unique opportunity for you to get to know your professors personally and receive 1 on 1 assistance whenever its needed.

Residence Hall

Welcome to your future home away from home. Each residence hall at Concordia holds no more than 32 students, with separate residences for men and women. Student rooms have central heating, air conditioning, and wifi access. All student rooms are set up suite style, with two rooms and one bathroom per suite. This means that you and your roommate will share a bathroom with only two other students. Each room contains beds, drapes or blinds, dressers, desks, and wardrobe-style closets. All suites are open to a common area within the hall where you will have a full kitchen available to you, along with seating for snacking, studying, and socializing.

Did you know that Concordia is home to 24 varsity-level athletic programs? We are members of the NAIA, Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference, and the Mid-States Football Association, and while our records are impressive, it’s the off-the-field mentorship opportunities that our student-athletes write home about. Ask any Cardinal athlete and they’ll tell you that it’s the coaches who make Concordia’s athletics program special. Our dedicated coaches and staff put in the time to see that student athletes walk away from their Concordia experiences as better athletes, stronger Christians, and Champions of Character. During home games, this Field House is filled with fans dressed in red and black and cheering on the Concordia Cardinals.

As one of the most up-to-date stadiums in all of Washtenaw County, Concordia’s Cardinal Stadium boasts a turf field, 1,300-seat grandstand capacity, state-of-the-art locker rooms, athletic training room, and many additional amenities. The stadium was built in 2016 and is utilized by Concordia’s football, men’s and women’s soccer, and men’s and women’s lacrosse teams. North Building

In 2015, Concordia University Ann Arbor purchased 10 acres and 84,500 square foot building just under 3 miles north of central campus, hence its name the North Building. An entire wing of the building was revamped to house a state-of-the-art school of nursing, complete with five simulation labs, a three-room simulation apartment, eight clinic rooms, a 10-bed skills lab, and a 8:1 high-fidelity manikin to student ratio. The North Building is also home to the athletic training, health and human performance, and exercise science programs.

Located in Concordia’s North Building, our state-of-the-art Nursing Skills Lab allows practicing nurses to relay their knowledge and expertise to students in a collaborative setting. In the Skills Lab, students will learn basic skills while nurturing the mind, body, and spirit for service to Christ. Extensive hands-on experience prepares students for clinicals while giving the students confidence in the workplace. The Skills Lab utilizes the latest nursing technology and leverages the experience of practicing nurse instructors who share their real-life experience in a hands-on nurturing environment.

Athletic Training Lab

The mission of Concordia University Ann Arbor’s Athletic Training Program is to facilitate student success by providing the highest quality of academic graduate coursework in athletic training and providing the student clinical experiences that apply their knowledge and skills in professional practice settings to prepare them to obtain national certification by the Board of Certification and state licensure. The state-of-the-art Athletic Training Lab offers student’s daily hands-on experience. The Athletic Training students learn from highly experienced instructors while working to get Concordia’s student-athletes back on the field after a sport related injury.
