Welcome to Cleveland State University (CSU), a university located in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. Home to more than 15,000 students, CSU is divided into eight academic colleges, such as the Fenn College of Engineering, the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, and the School of Nursing. A $500 million Òcampus makeoverÓ has helped the university evolve into a first-class institution of higher learning. There are nearly 200 programs, including masterÕs and doctoral offerings, that are supported by generous research and development funding. Student Center

The three-story Student Center is the prized centerpiece of CSUÕs recent campus upgrades, featuring a welcoming entrance area, glass fa�ade, and multi-level atrium. Students flock here to meet up with classmates, buy course materials at the bookstore, relax in the lounge areas, and utilize the wireless internet. The Student Center is also home to the universityÕs hundreds of organizations and clubs, providing meeting and activity space; in addition, multiple dining options, including some chain establishments, make their home here.

Main Classroom Building

The Main Classroom Building is centrally located on campus, with many floors devoted to a variety of academic departments. The first floor is home to a computer lab as well as the popular Campus 411 All-in-1 Enrollment Services. This one-stop center provides help with course registration, financial aid, acquiring academic records, and accessing your student account. If what you need is beyond the scope of Campus 411, its staff will point you in the right direction so that you can efficiently deal with all academic issues.

Bar Uno

Located on the first floor of the Student Center, Bar Uno serves up deep-dish pizza, salads, sandwiches, and a wide selection of beer. In order to cater to a variety of eating lifestyles, there are many gluten-free and vegetarian options on the menu. Students enjoy patio seating during nice weather, and when itÕs game time, there are a plethora of flat screen TVs inside for keeping up with your favorite sports teams.

Euclid Commons

Euclid Commons is a large residence community that provides apartments for more than 600 Cleveland State co-eds. In addition to full kitchens, all apartments feature modern and furnished rooms that can be shared or occupied by a single individual. The location offers proximity to campus, downtown Cleveland, and to a parking garage, meaning that residents enjoy a combination of college life and independent living. Additional amenities include a light-filled study lounge, courtyard, and game room.

Fenn Tower

The 22-story Fenn Tower is a residential building housing 438 students in one- or two-bedroom apartments. Amenities include a game room, laundry facilities, fitness center, computer lab, and a theater room. Students live in fully furnished rooms with high-speed internet, kitchenettes, cable TV, and picturesque views of downtown Cleveland. A residence life staff helps to organize community service projects, events, and networking opportunities for its residents.

Parker Hannifin Hall

Formerly known as the George Howe mansion, Parker Hannifin Hall is a historic building dating back to 1893. Its Renaissance Revival architecture has been carefully restored by the university, which acquired it in 1982. It resides on Euclid Avenue, once known as Òthe most beautiful street in AmericaÓ and also ÒMillionairesÕ Row.Ó Parker Hannifin Hall is primarily used for graduate study offices and conferences.

Julka Hall

Julka Hall is named after Bill Julka, who majored in industrial engineering while at CSU and went on to found Smart Solutions Inc. The V-shaped LEED-certified building houses both the College of Education and Human Services, and the School of Nursing. The mostly glass exterior allows for plenty of natural sunlight, and additional aesthetic features include many terraced gardens.

Physical Education

The Physical Education facility is comprised of the Robert Busbey Natatorium and the Woodling Gymnasium. The natatorium features a 50- meter swimming pool with nine competitive lanes, underwater speakers and windows, and a seating capacity of 1,500. It has often hosted collegiate championships and diving competitions. The gymnasium is home to the volleyball, wrestling, and fencing teams, with space for 3,000 spectators. In addition, there are weight rooms, a dance studio, a gymnastics room, and a remedial exercise room.

Science and Research Center

The College of Sciences and Health Professions makes its headquarters here in the Science and Research Center. Professors are esteemed and accomplished members of the wider scientific research community, bringing both quality instruction and real-world experience to the classroom. Research is consistently funded and supported by leading organizations like NASA, the Department of Energy, the American Heart Association and NIH. There are specific laboratories devoted to gross anatomy, chemistry, and physics, and a functioning hearing clinic is utilized by the speech and hearing programs.

Administration Center

A recent donation to Cleveland State resulted in the construction of the Administration Center. This three-story 33,000 square-foot building has achieved LEED Silver certification, meaning that it meets specific sustainable and eco-friendly guidelines. It houses the offices of the President and key senior administrators, as well as Elements Bistro, which serves up delectable dishes like homemade falafel, turkey chili, and portobello manicotti.
