The John Spoor Broome Library features a modern design incorporating a mix of glass, steel, and concrete. The 137,000-square-foot facility includes classrooms, study areas, state-of-the-art computer labs, art galleries, and a coffee shop. Guests have access to a large catalog of printed and electronic books as well as access to thousands of electronic journals, newspapers, and databases. Services in the Library include free tutoring at the Learning Resource Center, group presentation and writing assistance at the Writing and Multiliteracy Center (WMC), an intercampus library loan program, and the ability to check out laptops, cameras, and so much more. Bell Tower

The Bell Tower is the iconic landmark on our campus, consisting of 1930s Mission and Spanish Colonial Revival buildings with tiled fountains and courtyards. In addition to many classrooms, several student services are located within the Bell Tower including academic advising, personal counseling, and career planning. There are also a number of other services such as the Veterans Program, Multicultural Center, and Educational Opportunity Program. The Student Life office offers programming throughout the year to make sure we're balancing our academic and social life. Some faculty offices are also located within the Bell Tower. Our newest academic building, Sierra Hall, is a three-story building designed as a state-of-the-art facility where our science and technology students are educated with cutting-edge robotics and geology labs as well as multimode lecture halls, classrooms, and faculty offices. It houses CI's programs in Anthropology, Computer Science, Environmental Science & Resource Management, Applied Physics, and Psychology. Located at the heart of our campus, the Central Mall serves as a pedestrian-only walkway that stretches from the John Spoor Broome Library to Aliso Hall, providing students access to surrounding classrooms, offices, study areas, food service, campus events, and much more. The Central Mall includes an octagonal, four-tiered, Spanish Mission-style fountain encased in decorative, custom-made tiles as well as replicas of historic tiles found on the original 1930s buildings throughout the campus.

The Islands Café is our all-you-can-eat dining venue featuring breakfast, lunch, and dinner options for the entire campus community. Residential and commuter students can enjoy a variety of fresh farm-to-table food stations such as the San Miguel Mexican Grill, and Brick oven California-style Pizza. Enjoy a build-your-own salad station that also features house-made soups. The San Clemente Entrée Station provides innovative entrees daily. Surrounded by student housing, the Bell Tower, and Islands Café, the South Quad is where various campus events occur, including the annual commencement ceremony each spring. Students can also watch movies under the stars, join in the campus Welcome Celebration, attend a concert, or invite family to attend Family Weekend. Students can also compete in various intramural sports clubs or just relax under a tree with friends.

Welcome to the residence halls for freshmen and sophomores! Living on campus puts you right in the center of all that CI has to offer. We have two communities with traditional and suite-style rooms for our lower-division students along with awesome amenities. Santa Rosa Village is our newest freshmen housing community and includes double bedrooms, shared bathrooms, study rooms, family rooms, and a large community living room and kitchen. Down the street, we have Santa Cruz Village, which is home to our second-year students, as well as some freshmen and upper-division students. For upper-division students, we offer two apartment areas. Apartments in Anacapa Village have four bedrooms, two- bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room, which are shared by four to six students. At the Town Center, we have a studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments with single or double-occupancy bedrooms. These apartments include a washer/dryer, kitchen, and living room. We offer many community spaces across our living area that all housing residents can use, such as a pool and spa, BBQ, study rooms, computer labs, fitness center, dance studio, surfboard storage room, and more! The Recreation Center in Arroyo Hall has everything you need to maintain a healthy lifestyle while pursuing your academic degree. You can lift weights or work out on cardio machines as well as participate in intramural and club sports such as volleyball, basketball, dodgeball, karate, cheer, and dance. Interested in soccer, flag football, Ultimate Frisbee, softball, or another outdoor sport? Join one of our various sports clubs and get your sweat on! Teams regularly compete on one of the beautiful north or south campus recreation fields. Other outdoor sports such as surfing, sailing, and cycling are also available! Also located in Arroyo Hall are the Disability Accommodations and Support Services (DASS), the Basic Needs programs that include our Dolphin Pantry and Promoting Achievement Through Hope PATH programs. DASS assists students with disabilities by providing a wide range of support including student appointments, academic and housing accommodations, support programs, and student resources/Video Tutorials. The Dolphin Pantry provides students with emergency food and toiletries, connects students to critical on and off-campus resources, and provides educational opportunities for students to take personal responsibility for their wellness and the well-being of their communities. The Student Union is one of the main hubs of campus life. Students gather here to grab food or coffee, play games such as pool, shuffleboard, air hockey, and table tennis, or listen to student musicians. Students can also be active in student government, plan student events, or work on the yearbook or student newspaper. The Student Union also provides comfortable lounges and a beautiful outdoor courtyard where we can simply hang out and meet new friends in a casual and fun environment. Aliso Hall serves as a science facility with 8 laboratories, a 110-seat auditorium, and faculty offices for our Biology and Chemistry programs. The labs were designed for the comprehensive study of biology, chemistry, earth science, physics, bioinformatics, and other related disciplines. The second floor facilitates student-to-student biology and chemistry tutoring. Located just outside of Aliso Hall, you'll notice a fountain and statue of two dolphins, our University mascot. If you're an Art major taking painting, animation, or drawing classes, you'll most likely spend a great deal of time creating your masterpieces in Napa Hall. This academic facility includes several art galleries and hosts a wide range of art exhibitions featuring regional, national, and internationally-recognized artists. Art students participate annually in the California State University Media Arts Festival and over consecutive years have won first, second, and third-place awards in this prestigious art competition. The beautiful North Quad is surrounded by various academic, faculty, and staff buildings including Napa, Solano, Madera, Manzanita, and Del Norte Halls. The North Quad is open for students to gather in between classes or simply study outdoors underneath one of the many trees. Don't be surprised if you see a professor holding a class outside, or if you see students completing their art projects under the outdoor walkway. Del Norte Hall houses one of our tiered lecture classrooms which accommodates 120 students, as well as 60-seat and 40-seat classrooms, and computer labs equipped with desktops, laptops, and iPad technology. Even though the Del Norte Hall lecture classroom can accommodate up to 120 students, we pride ourselves in offering small class sizes (22 students on average). If you are planning to study at the Martin V. Smith School of Business & Economics, you'll likely spend some valuable time at the MVS Center for Integrative Decision-Making. The facility features a state-of-the-art 60-seat classroom, a scrolling LED stock ticker display, and an advanced audio/visual system to encourage an interactive learning experience. Workstations include a power outlet, data port, and Internet access — essential tools for students participating in computer simulations. Two adjacent conference rooms support smaller group meetings.

Sage Hall is the hub for all of your enrollment essentials. Visit Sage Hall to get an in-person campus tour by one of our student ambassadors, obtain more information on the admission and application process, and learn about financial aid and scholarships. Once you become a CI student, we'll help you with taking your photo ID, submitting payments, and helping you achieve your degree. You can meet with faculty, learn about our graduate programs, and explore studying abroad in 18 different countries. The Town Center is located on the eastern side of the campus just across the bridge from the Library – where you'll find several dining options including the Tortillas Grill and Cantina for delicious Mexican cuisine, Mom Wong Kitchen offering a modern take on Chinese cuisine, and Pizza 3.14 featuring pizza, salad, and wings. Visit the Cove Bookstore for your textbooks, supplies, and fan apparel. There's even a Copy Center for all your copy, bindery, mounting, and laminating needs. With an ATM located in Town Center, you have complete one-stop dining, shopping, and service experience with the added bonus of convenient short-term parking. Malibu Hall is primarily used for students studying dance, theater, and music. Theater students put on various plays throughout the year that are open to the public. Students can practice an instrument or take courses such as History of Rock, Conditioning for Dancers, Jazz in America, Music Appreciation, and Audio Design and Recording. Channel Islands Boating Center, also known as the CIBC, is located 30 minutes from campus in the Channel Islands Harbor. Here students enjoy access to water sports such as kayaking, sailing, and stand-up paddle boarding. Classes are free for students as part of their recreation fees. A must-do trip for all CI students, Santa Rosa Island is part of the Channel Islands National Park and is just a 3-hour ferry ride from Ventura Harbor. Santa Rosa Island is home to CI's Research Station where students and faculty regularly go to conduct research and learn from the beautiful ocean environment. The research station hosts students from all majors. Students can also visit the island by participating in one of the Outdoor Adventures camping trips where you will spend the weekend hiking and camping on the Island and exploring its many natural resources.
