Our Transformation Centers are designed to help change our customers perception of CDW. We do this mainly through building solutions in and through the centers that solve problems facing healthcare and holding Executive Briefings in the centers. Many of our centers have high-end executive conference rooms for hosting your customers C-suite and clinical leadership.

Mock Patient Room

The mock patient room allows us to integrate patient room solutions while keeping in mind space, furniture, medical equipment and workflows. We use a traditional acute care patient room as the starting point, but our designs contemplate higher acuity rooms, flex rooms, post acute care settings and eventually home. The Patient Room 'Next' design introduces context awareness to better orchestrate and integrate the technology solutions for better communication and automation to improve the experience for patients, visitors and clinical teams.

Home Care/Long-Term Living

Through the doorway, you can see our ambulatory exam room and current at home space. Our mock exam, patient and ambulatory rooms are valuable spaces in our current center that allow exploration of real-world scenarios in a controlled environment. What you can't see is a planned expansion of post-acute space that will be in the suite next door starting in 2025. The new space will include long-term care, senior living, and assisted living spaces that better help CDW and our clients prepare for this growing need.

Data Center

The MemorialCare Transformation Center hosts a private data center to support the work in this and the other transformation centers. Using a private data center allows for rapid deployment and modifications of applications, devices, and more without risk of impact to the hospital's core operations. The data center supports our explorations into AI solutions, cutting edge security, cloud and hybrid cloud solutions and more.

Our healthcare partners are integral to our success. We don't build our centers in a vacuum. Instead, we collaborate with healthcare organizations to create spaces that mirror real-world hospital environments. These healthcare partners hold valuable clinical and workflow knowledge. Our centers are the safe spaces through which hospital technology can be played with and tested until it's good enough to move into the healthcare system.
