Technology Experience Center

The Technology Experience Center is CDWs pre-sales multivendor demo lab that showcases the latest in compute, storage, networking, virtualization, hyperconvergence, power and cooling solutions. Within this fully functional data center and network, customers can experience technology in-action both remotely and on-site in Vernon Hills, IL at no charge.
When utilizing the demo lab, users can see the newest technologies built as integrated solutions, host static demos that offer insight on how technologies work, compare "bakeoff" alternative solutions side by side and explore how the latest innovations can help you achieve their goals. Distribution Capabilities

This is one of CDW's U.S. distribution center(s). CDW has several distribution centers around the world which give you access to the technology solutions you need to run your organization successfully. We hold a large selection in stock with over $400M in inventory stocked daily between our two US distribution centers with 94% of standard orders placed by sales shipping within 24 hours. We also offer flexible purchasing options allowing customers to either purchase on an ad hoc/just-in-time basis or do more forecasting and planning for projects. Via different procurement methods, we can assume stocking positions for standardized products or large-scale rollouts and offer customers to take advantage of CDW distribution facilities for storage.
Enterprise Configuration

This is CDW's enterprise configuration center. Configurations are a necessary but time consuming task for your IT team. CDW takes that work off your plate and allows your IT staff to focus on strategic initiatives. Configuration Services averages 10,000 custom configurations per day between our two integration / distribution centers in Vernon Hills, IL and North Las Vegas, NV.
CDW has over 30 years of configuration experience with 400 knowledgeable technicians, engineers and team members that hold a number of industry-recognized and engineer-level certifications for partners such as Microsoft and Cisco. Our enterprise configuration services include configuration of servers, network and security devices like routers, switches, firewalls, IP phones, access points and controllers, and full configuration of racks including cabling. Here's just one example of how we create a rack solution.
End-use Compute Configurations

This is one of the areas where we configure client devices like cell phones, tablets, notebooks, desktops and workstations. This includes Windows imaging and MDM provision like Autopilot enrollment and pre-provisioning, Apple device enrollment and provisioning, Chrome OS White Glove Service and Zero-Touch Enrollment). Common additional services for client computing and work from home include: asset tags, custom engraving, welcome letter inserts and kitting. CDW also offers Buy and Hold and palletization services.
Whether it's one machine or several thousand, our quality control measures ensure products are fully operational when they leave a CDW configuration center. This virtually eliminates the number of D.O.A. units a customer receives on delivery.
