U Building: Student Success Center

Supporting students to meet their educational goals is a hallmark of the BC experience. The Student Success Center, also known as the U Building, is dedicated to this effort. At the Welcome Center, which is located on the first floor, prospective students and families can ask questions about BC, meet with an admission advisor, join a campus tour, and sign up for information sessions. Currently enrolled students can connect with different departments and academic resources.

S Building: Science

The Science and Technology Building, also known as the S Building, is where students attend classes in chemistry, biology, microbiology, anatomy, physiology, and oceanography. Built in 2009, the S Building is LEED Silver certified and features five high-tech classrooms as well as 16 advanced laboratories, a DNA-sequencer, scanning-electron-microscope, and Science Study Center.

T Building: Health Sciences, Education and Wellness Institute

The Health Sciences, Education & Wellness Institute, located in the T Building, hosts BC's growing list of health-related bachelor's degrees, two-year associate degrees and certificates. The T Building's learning laboratories incorporate the latest technologies for healthcare simulation and patient care. BC's high demand, specialized programs include Nursing, Healthcare Informatics, Health & Wellness, Healthcare Management & Leadership and Radiation & Imaging Sciences.

Carlson Theatre

Interested in the performing arts? BC offers a variety of opportunities – from its theatre company and dance troupe to vocal and instrumental music options, including an award-winning vocal jazz ensemble, concert choir, and instrumental jazz band. Performances are held in the 300-seat Carlson Theatre and 80-seat Stopgap Studio Theatre.

N Building: NWCET and Open Computer Lab

The N Building is located on the south end of campus. It houses numerous electronic classrooms and labs including the Open Computer Lab - the largest computer lab on campus. The N Building contains both PCs and Macs, scanners, printers, and access to over 200 software programs. Need help setting up an account or connecting with BC's free campus-wide Wi-Fi? No problem. Lab assistants are available to help. The N Building is part of an impressive network of more than 30 computer labs spread across the BC campus.

Library Media Center

BC's Library Media Center provides a variety of collaborative and quiet spaces, from comfortable couch seating to traditional study carrels to study rooms for groups. The library features a substantial collection of books, periodicals, and reference material, while offering convenient access to PC and MAC workstations, 3D printers, and other resources. Students can seek assistance or check out laptops, headphones, and cell phone chargers at the Tech Hub desk. Librarians are always available for research help. The library is a place to meet, learn and study, making it one of the most popular locations on campus!

Raging River Courtyard

Four main courtyards run through the center of campus. They lead to a fountain sculpted by John Geise, a noted contemporary artist with works on display throughout the Pacific Northwest. The fountain is an enduring symbol of the college.

C Building: Student Union

The Jean Sarto Floten Student Union Building, also known as the C Building, is the heart of the campus. Its first floor contains a spacious lounge, full espresso bar, and well-stocked cafeteria. The upper floor hosts the Office of Student Engagement, an organization that manages over 80 student organizations and programs, including the Black Student Union, DECA, El Centro Latino, the LGBTQ Resource Center, and Leadership Institute. The second floor is also home to the Associated Student Government and BC's student newspaper, The Watchdog.

E Building: Bookstore and ITS

The first level of the B Building is home to the BC Bookstore, where students can purchase textbooks, Bellevue College apparel and gear and other items needed for classes. The second level is home to the Technology Service Desk, which provides students with a one-stop shop for a range of tech help.

Willard Geer Planetarium

The silver dome of the Willard Geer Planetarium is a landmark on the BC campus. The dome's digital system recreates the night sky, offering an unencumbered view of the stars and constellations. Astronomy is one of five sciences that comprise BC's Earth and Space Sciences Program. The Planetarium serves as a classroom for astronomy students, as well as area elementary and middle school students. It also sponsors free shows for the public on select Saturdays of the month.

Transportation and Sustainability

Transportation is easy at BC. The Sustainability Transportation Desk, located in the C Building, offers guidance on how to carpool, bike, bus, or walk to campus. Several Metro bus routes run through the campus. Additional bus routes stop at the nearby Eastgate Park-and-Ride. An enclosed bus shelter featuring real-time bus arrival information is adjacent to the parking garage. BC was the first college in the western United States to install electric vehicle charging stations. The campus is bike-friendly with several bike trails that lead to the college. There are numerous secure bike parking locations, and a dedicated station that provides stands and tools for bicycle repairs.

L Building

The L Building is home to BC's top-ranked Interior Design program. The program offers a comprehensive, high-quality interior design education culminating in a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Interior Design. Computer science classes are also held in the L Building. They make up the foundation for BC's Bachelor Degree in Computer Science.

R Building

BC strives to maintain a sustainable, environmentally conscious campus. The R Building is an example of this commitment. The structure uses geothermal power for heating and cooling, making it far more energy efficient than the traditional alternative. The Arts and Humanities Division offices and English Language Institute are located in the R Building, along with a dance studio, a pair of student lounges, and a full-service coffee shop.

Courter Family Athletic Pavilion (Gym)

The Courter Family Athletic Pavilion features an athletics office, fitness center, locker rooms, and a gymnasium with three full-sized basketball and volleyball courts. BC is a member of the Northwest Athletic Conference. It has built a reputation as one of the top sports programs in the Pacific Northwest. Teams include baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball, soccer, tennis, and golf.

Courter Field

BC baseball has established itself as one of the top college baseball programs in the country. Many of its players have received transfer scholarships to four-year colleges and universities or gone on to sign professional contracts. Courter Baseball Field has a 1,000-seat capacity, two full-size artificial turf batting cages, a rain tarp that covers the entire infield, and the first wireless inning-by-inning scoreboard in Western Washington, all of which make it a premiere destination for major tournaments and baseball events.

On Campus Housing

The H Building is located across from the baseball and soccer fields. This five-story, 400-bed residence hall features apartment and suite-style units with private kitchens and private bathrooms. Students living on campus have access to a front desk, free Wi-Fi, onsite laundry facilities, communal spaces on each floor, and an array of cultural, academic, and community programming.

Early Learning Center

BC's Early Learning Center was made possible through a partnership with Costco and donations from private donors. Designed for children ranging from 3 months to 6 years, it provides developmentally appropriate care and early education. It's also a learning space for students enrolled in BC's Early Learning & Teacher Education program, ensuring "in the field" experience for students training to be future childcare providers.
