George Washington Carver Administration Building

The newly-renovated, two-story George Washington Carver Administration Building houses many of the offices that help BCC maintain and move into the future. These include Community Relations, Foundation, Purchasing and Human Relations. The building is equipped to hold meetings, presentations and special events.
Bernard Simpkins Fine Arts Center

Welcome to the Bernard W. Simpkins Fine Arts Center. The center is home to the Department of Fine Arts, which includes programs in Dance, Music, Theatre and Visual Art. In addition to classrooms, rehearsal and performance space, the center features a Music Lab with over a dozen iMac computers that run innovative music training software and have basic word processing capability as well.
Veterans Memorial

Located in-between the Student Center and Roger W. Dobson buildings, is the beautifully-designed George F. Schlatter Veterans Memorial Amphitheatre. The memorial includes an amphitheatre stage and memorial wall for Brevard County residents who lost their lives in combat. Behind the amphitheatre stage is an obelisk with an inscribed dedication.
Dr. Mary Cathryne Park Classroom Building

The two-story Dr. Mary Cathryne Park Classroom Building, located in the heart of campus, is a popular destination for an array of courses. The building is named in honor of a former Brevard Communications professor, and also features an adjoining clock tower. As you can see, the building - like many others campus - makes use of Florida's abundant natural light.
Ralph M. Williams Student Center

The closest building on campus to the Library and also just across the street from the University of Central Florida campus, the Ralph M. Williams Student Center is the core of BCC student activity. It's where students come to meet up, relax or have a meal. Most student events, clubs and organizations are based here. There are many opportunities for students to get involved whether your interest lies in music, drama, surfing or welding. The building also houses several key administrative offices including Admissions, Testing and Advising.
BCC/UCF Joint Use Library

The BCC/UCF Joint Use Library services both BCC and University of Central Florida students. Wi-Fi is available throughout and dozens of computer stations are available for student use in the first floor InfoLab, equipped with the latest software. The library features other services beyond its print and digital collections, including clerical machines and video rental. The technologically-advanced facility also enjoys lake views. Library hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Astronaut Memorial Planetarium & Observatory Exterior

The 15,000-square-foot Astronaut Memorial Planetarium is a multipurpose educational and entertainment facility. It features a 170-seat movie theater with six-channel surround sound, an art gallery and multimedia classrooms for credit and non-credit astronomy courses. The facility also houses a lecture hall and board rooms for presentations and special community events.

The Observatory is another of our Planetarium's outstanding features. Drawing the BCC community and the public, the observatory boasts the largest public telescope in the state of Florida. The telescope is managed and operated by the Brevard Astronomical Society and offers viewers a rare close-up look into the universe. The telescope also features a small video camera to capture exciting phenomena when they occur. The Observatory is open on Friday and Saturday nights from sunset until 10:15 p.m.
HCVAS Health Sciences Center

Here we are at the HCVAS Health Sciences Center. Health Sciences is a popular track for BCC students; about 25% of our student body is enrolled in a Health Sciences program or taking a prerequisite class, aligning themselves to gain admission. The facility houses educational labs, clinics, classrooms and faculty offices. Health Sciences students are working toward an Associate's degree or Postsecondary Vocational Certificate.

The centrally-located Vocational Building houses a variety of courses designed to launch BCC students into specific careers. Courses held here range from Automotive Technology to Cosmetology, Microbiology and Air Conditioning Technology.
