Tour stop audio transcript
Hi. Welcome to Babson College! My name is Benji and I grew up in Chestertown, Maryland. I am studying Real Estate, Economics and Law. My peer, Madi, and I are going to be your tour guides today, and we are excited to show you around our beautiful New England campus in Wellesley, Massachusetts. It is our primary campus, and home to our Undergraduate school, Graduate school, Executive Education programs and beyond. I am going to turn it over to Madi to get us started today. Thanks Benji! My name is Madi and I grew up in Randolph, Massachusetts. I am studying Social Entrepreneurship. Before we get started on the actual tour, let me explain the many ways you can explore our campus virtually: -You can click on the forward facing arrow to start walking around. -You can jump to the next stop by clicking on the "Next" button. -If you already know where you want to go, you can select any location by using the list OR by clicking directly on the map. -Lastly, remember you can explore any particular location in more detail by clicking the supplemental icons. Okay, let's jump in! Founded in 1919 by Roger Babson, our school is a place where you'll develop the entrepreneurial skills, mindset, and network needed to make an impact in the business world and beyond. You'll be surrounded by inspiring peers, extraordinary professors, diverse perspectives, and supportive voices in our close-knit community. At Babson, we're the global torchbearer for entrepreneurship – and we maintain our position through our strong and diverse viewpoints. Here, unique perspectives strengthen our own, and learners gain the context they need to ignite their ambitions. And, Babson is located just 10 miles outside of Boston in Wellesley, Massachusetts, about 30 minutes away by car. You'll enjoy proximity to Boston – a world-class "college city" with lots to do year-round, an international airport, and easy access to great companies, internships, and job opportunities.
