Welcome to Augusta University, a public research university located in the Garden City of the South--Augusta, Georgia. My name is Ashlyn, and I am thrilled to be your tour guide of our Summerville Campus. Close to 200 years ago, Augusta University's foundation was laid and what began as a class of seven students has grown into a body of thousands. We are a student-centered research university offering over 140 academic programs throughout ten different colleges. Our students come from every state in the U.S. and more than 40 countries around the world. Offering undergraduate programs in the liberal arts and sciences, business and education, and computer and cyber sciences, as well as a full range of graduate programs and hands-on clinical research opportunities, Augusta University is Georgia's innovation center for education, health care, and cybersecurity.
