Welcome to Anderson University, a private Christian university located on a 100-acre campus in Anderson, Indiana. The school is affiliated with the Church of God, specifically the religious body headquartered in the same town, and operates by the motto, ÒAcademic and Christian Discovery.Ó

Reardon Auditorium

Reardon Auditorium is the largest performance space at Anderson, with an impressive seating capacity of 2,200, which is nearly equal to the universityÕs enrollment. Due to its size, Reardon is used for grand choir and ensemble concerts, such as the annual Candles and Carols production; this Christmas event brings together performers from the music, theatre, and dance departments for a magnificent evening of traditional hymns in a candlelit atmosphere.

Decker Hall

Decker Hall is the site of substantial foot traffic, as it is the largest classroom building on campus. If you are enrolled in language, English, sociology, computer science, history, or math classes, there's a good chance you'll find yourself inside a Decker Hall classroom. In addition, it is home to the mail center, computer labs, and offices for the Registrar, Financial Services, Student Life, and Career Development. Cafe Ole is a popular coffee and snack destination inside when you have time between classes.

Harting Hall

Hartung Hall is home to classrooms and laboratories for the many science departments, including biology, physics, and psychology; it is also where the School of Nursing is located. Undergrads can pursue a four-year nursing degree, and current RNs can enter an accelerated track to receive the same BachelorÕs in a shorter amount of time. A food court and multiple lounges offer comfortable spaces for doing homework, or meeting up with fellow classmates and professors.

Nicholson Library

The Nicholson Library exists to support the academic path of each and every Anderson student. Inside are two computer labs, plenty of quiet study areas, and knowledgeable staff that can help with research and locating materials. The archives of both the university and the Church of God can also be found within Nicholson. The Kissinger Learning Center provides tutoring services and other helpful academic resources to students who need them, all at no cost.

School of Theology

Faith is at the center of academic life at Anderson because of its foundation in the Church of God. The School of Theology was further expanded in 1975 to accommodate the number of students who wish to delve into religious studies as a career path. This school offers five graduate degrees, such as a Master of Divinity and a Master of Christian Ministry, the latter of which is conveniently available as an online program. Non-degree seeking students can also take theology classes as part of the continuing education offerings at Anderson.

Olt Student Center

When you're not in class, head here to the Olt Student Center to grab food at dining establishments like Raven's Haven, Mocha Joe's, and the Corner Pocket. Each semester you will purchase course materials and other everyday goods at the bookstore located within; the Olt Student Center is also home to the offices of Student Government and Student Activities, which are both responsible for a calendar jam-packed with fun events on campus.

Byrum Hall

Byrum Hall is the oldest structure at Anderson, and formerly served as the Tabernacle for the annually held Church of God Camp Meeting. Today, it is the creative epicenter of the drama department, with a 550-seat theater used for plays, opera performances, and musicals. The Theatre Arts major allows students to assemble a portfolio that focuses on performance, production, or academics; students exclusively direct and produce several full-scale shows each year in order to gain solid, professional experience.

Krannert Fine Arts Center

The expansive Krannert Fine Arts Center houses the majority of the College of the Arts, which includes the departments of art, design, music, theatre, dance, and communication arts. In addition to classrooms and laboratories, Krannert devotes space to rehearsal rooms that are connected to a recording studio equipped with state-of-the-art recording technology. The Wilson Galleries exhibit the work of regional artists, including those who are Anderson students and faculty.

Rice Hall

While not required to live on campus, most Anderson undergrads do choose to live in one of the residence halls, in order to get a more complete college experience. The residence life staff strives to create a supportive and spiritual environment within each hall so that every resident feels a sense of home. Rice Hall provides modular-style accommodations, with seven women per module; its close proximity to the student center, and amenities like air conditioning and laundry, make it an attractive place to live.

Kardatzke Wellness Center

At the cost of $17 million, Anderson constructed the 132,000 square-foot Kardatzke Wellness Center, a place where you can meet your recreational, exercise, and wellness goals. This enormous facility includes four basketball courts, a swimming pool, an indoor track, and a variety of cardiovascular machines and fitness equipment. Students interested in athletics and kinesiology in a career sense pursue programs in Exercise Science, Athletic Training, and Physical Education.
