The Center for Health Professions supports career programs such as nursing, surgical technology, radiology and diagnostic imaging, physical therapy, respiratory therapy, occupational therapy, and health information technology. It includes complete radiology systems, surgical suites, simulation training rooms, general hospital rooms, a nurse's station, and the Dr. Frank Bryant, Jr. Human Patient Simulator Lab. The lab is a state-of-the-art medical training facility equipped with private rooms, bedside diagnostics, and a nurse call station/monitoring system, providing hands-on preparation for patient care in a controlled learning environment.

The Center for Learning Resources includes a three-story library with private reading spaces. Students have access to computer labs, public copiers, and information and reference desks. The library has quiet study workspaces and pods. The Honorable Ruth Jones McClendon Collection and college archives are available to the public. We have online research databases.

The Tourism, Hospitality, and Culinary Arts houses the Baking and Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Event Management, and hotel and restaurant management programs. The 61,200-square-foot, four-story facility features state-of-the-art industry-standard equipment, the 1898 café on the first floor, a pastry café on the second, and the crowning jewel on the fourth floor - Artemisia's Restaurant. The full-service, student-run restaurant, is cantilevered from the north end of the building and wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass for a dramatic view of the downtown San Antonio skyline.

Artemisia's is a full-service, student-run restaurant, cantilevered from the north end of the Tourism, Hospitality, and Culinary Arts Center of Excellence building. The restaurant, located on the fourth floor, features floor-to-ceiling glass for dramatic views of the downtown San Antonio skyline. Students collaborate to prepare, coordinate, and serve various cuisines.

The 57,000-square-foot, two-story gymnasium and natatorium includes an elevated track, short-course swimming pool, therapy pool, weight and cardio training spaces, aerobic, cardio and dance studios, and teaching labs for kinesiology and first aid/CPR. The basketball, tennis, and volleyball courts are equipped for tournament play. Intramural sports engage students in an arena-like experience as part of Tiger Nation.

Built in 2000, the Child Development Center is located on the northwest corner of the campus. This learning laboratory for students builds knowledge and practical skills relating to the development of young children. The mission of the center is to provide the community with early child care and development. Child Care is available at the center for ages 18 months to 5 years old, giving priority to students.

The William C. Davis Science Building houses laboratories for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. It is also home to MathWorld, the Natural Sciences Tutoring Center, and Byrd Sanctuary, named in honor of the late Natural Science Department Chair, Dr. Lanier E. Byrd. Each delivers essential tutoring services to students in motivational and stimulating environments. The Byrd Sanctuary is maintained by staff and knowledgeable professionals with degrees in various subject areas.

The G.J. Sutton Learning Center accommodates Dual Credit and High School programs, Financial Literacy, Career Readiness and Experiential Learning Services, First Year Experience, Center for Distance Learning, Social Behavioral Sciences, the UPS Store, and colleges' administrative offices. The third floor of G.J. Sutton Learning Center is home to the Bowden Alumni Center, Presidents Gallery, St. Philip's College mural, and the Artemisia Bowden Gallery, which features a renowned collection of local African American art donated by the late Mayor Emeritus Lila Cockrell. The mural depicts the history of St. Philip's College. This floor also accommodates the President's Office, Title III Office, Institutional Advancement and Grants, Scholarships, and the souvenir shop.

The Clarence Windzell Norris Building is equipped with several SMART® classrooms and labs that provide flexible learning areas, collaborative spaces, interactive displays, and innovative learning tools for students. It is also home to the Integrated Reading and Writing Center, Tutoring and Technology (TNT) Center, and the Rose R. Thomas Writing Center. The tutoring center provides TEAS preparation classes and tutoring in accounting, business, computer literacy, history, Spanish, and speech. The writing center helps writers at all levels improve their composition process and mastery of the English language.

The E. L. Turbon Student Center, located in the heart of campus, is the center of co-curricular activities. This building houses the student government office, study areas, lockers, lounge areas, pool tables, gaming, ping pong tables, Tiger Lanes Bowling Alley, Tiger Cafe, U.S. Post Office, bookstore, and recreational features. The 28,000-square-foot, two-story complex enhances student success as a hub for corporate student leadership, governance and activities, all led by the college's Student Life department. In 1996, the E.L. Turbon Student Center was renamed for Everett L. Turbon, who devoted 36 years of service to St. Philip's College.

The Applied Science Building is home to the automotive technology program. Automotive Technology provides automotive technician training using current technology and fundamental hands-on skills for individuals seeking entry-level or advanced positions in the automotive field. The program is nationally-certified in eight content areas and maintains Automotive Service Excellence Master Certification status. Health Information Technology (HIT), Biomedical Engineering, Vision Care Technology, Certified Nurse Aide and Computer Information Systems are also housed in ASB.

The Watson Fine Arts Center is home to the fine arts, music, performing arts classes, and Watson Fine Arts Theater, a 600-seat theatre. The center is also home to the Morgan Gallery, named after former Fine Arts Dean Kathleen Morgan. The multipurpose room is an art gallery, meeting and special events space. The building will be home to the H-E-B Black Box Theater.

The Saint Artemisia Bowden Building is a 25,000-square-foot, two-story building that accommodates information technology cybersecurity specialist, network administrator, web and mobile developer, office specialists, and bookkeeping programs. Classes offered toward a Bachelor of Applied Technology Degree in Cybersecurity. SPC is unique with its onsite cyber range. Programming supports the high demand for cybersecurity graduates to fill positions in San Antonio, the nation's second-largest cyber hub. The building also includes the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance [VITA] Center and Microsoft Testing Center.

The Good Samaritan Veterans Outreach and Transition Center provides personalized services to all active duty, retired military, veterans, service families, and the greater San Antonio community. The center was constructed in 1915 as Corinth Baptist Church, and in 1948, was converted to a hospital for African American patients in response to segregation. In December 2011, the San Antonio City Council approved a partnership with St. Philip's College to renovate the former hospital into a veterans outreach center. Services in the center are free to military-affiliated visitors.
Building 1, Section A of the Southwest Campus Industrial Technology Center is home to the Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) Manufacturing program. The program is designed to prepare students for a manufacturing career in machining/fabricating parts using manual and automated processes used in the industry. Students learn programming, troubleshooting, maintenance, adjusting, and calibrating robots, as used in CNC and lath machine automated systems.

Building 1, Section A of the Southwest Campus houses air conditioning and refrigeration, and electrical trades programs. Air Conditioning and Refrigeration prepares students for a career in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning industry. Electrical Trades provides quality education to individuals pursuing a career in the electrical field. Classroom, laboratory, and on-the-job training ensure students gain the necessary knowledge and experiences to be successful. Students learn Basic AC-DC, residential, commercial, and industrial wiring, motor controls, programmable logic controllers, transformers, and electrical codes.

Building 2: Aircraft Lab, Southwest Campus

The Southwest Campus aircraft lab is home to the Aircraft Technician programs. The programs offer traditional college courses for students seeking the Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant License. The Aircraft Technician Programs are accredited by the FAA and St. Philip's College is the only provider of customized instruction for the aerospace industry in San Antonio. Students study all phases of aircraft maintenance and repair, including training in fuel, hydraulic, pneumatic environmental control, electrical and flight control systems.

Building 7 at Southwest Campus houses the diesel and heavy machinery maintenance training facility. The $4.7 million academic facility includes two buildings -- a classroom and a lab. The program emphasizes diesel service management, the theory and skills of refrigeration, electronic and mechanical fuel injection, chassis maintenance, vehicle inspection, tune-up, engine overhaul, transmission repair, brake service, and handling hazardous waste. Program labs include industry-standard instructional diesel technology bays that provide students with real-world hands-on experiences.

The Welding and Autobody Collision Center is located at Southwest Campus. The 62,000-square-foot, facility hosts advanced instructional welding and autobody labs, welding stations, and double bay automotive prep stations. The Collision/Refinishing Technician Program provides individuals with the knowledge and skill-set to pursue a career in the highly competitive field of collision and refinishing repair.
