South Korea has one of the most advanced technological systems in the world. A delegation made up of the technological institutes that won the Activation contest, the Senescyt, the Ecuadorian Ministry of Education and the World Bank visited Korea to learn about immersive education and the use of technology in the best schools in Korea.
Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Kaist, is a public research university located in Daejeon. Kaist is currently considered one of the best universities in the world.
Kaist is working to visualize environmental indicators through virtual reality.
The University of Namseoul is a private higher education center located in Cheonan. In this educational center, immersive learning has become trans-formative in different careers. Teachers and students develop different projects with virtual reality and augmented reality.
Protocols to enter an operating room or to give lung cardio breathing are designed using augmented reality, with the aim of helping the student in their learning.
