Since opening a pharmacy school less than two decades ago, Wingate has become the number one healthcare educator in western North Carolina. The Levine College of Health Sciences is home to the pharmacy, physician assistant studies and nursing programs. Here, you'll learn from faculty who remain on the cutting edge by continuing to work in a clinical setting. One of the hallmarks of Wingate's health-sciences programs is that we get you into a clinical setting early and often. Students find that getting real-world practice experience in hospitals, medical clinics, community organizations and interactive labs reinforces what they're learning in class. With three programs in the same building, our health science students have authentic interprofessional opportunities to learn together through courses, patient case studies and student organization events.

Located just off the Academic Quad, Burnside Dalton is home to two of our doctoral programs: physical therapy and occupational therapy. It also houses our cadaver lab, where health-sciences students can investigate the inner workings of the human body. Wingate also offers graduate degrees in non-health-science fields, as well as several online programs, including master's and doctoral programs in education and a fully online Master of Arts in Sport Management program. Wingate is also exploring the possibility of offering undergraduate and master's degrees in public health.

Wingate's Graduate Education, Master of Arts in Sport Management, and Adult Bachelor's Degree programs offer completely online options for the busy working adult. All of these programs use a combination of synchronous and asynchronous delivery. And as an online student, you have access to the same resources as a traditional student, including faculty advisors and library resources. Wingate is also exploring the possibility of offering an online master's degree in public health.

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, 22 miles south of Asheville, Wingate's Hendersonville campus is part of a state-of-the-art Health Sciences Center. Students who pursue a doctor of pharmacy or master of physician assistant studies degree in Hendersonville will find small classes, a family atmosphere, student-centered collaborative learning and expertly trained faculty. When they aren't at work in class or clinical settings, students can enjoy whitewater rafting, hiking and biking trails, and serene mountain vistas, all near the Hendersonville campus. Many fall in love with the area and choose to stay. It's no wonder Wingate is the number one provider of healthcare education in western North Carolina.

Wingate University's Ballantyne Campus is in the Gibson Building of Ballantyne Corporate Park in south Charlotte. You may be eyeing a career in business or accounting, or maybe you're already a working professional looking to advance. Either way, our Ballantyne programs are a great next step. We offer an evening Master of Accounting program that you can tackle full-time or part-time. Our MBA allows you to choose from among five areas of concentration: data analytics, corporate innovation, general management, healthcare management or project management. We also offer a number of certification courses. Whether you're pursuing a graduate degree or a two-day training, our Ballantyne location puts you in the heart of the nation's second-largest banking hub.

As a Laboratory of Difference-Making, Wingate believes that students learn best by doing. That's why clinical rotations, internships and other hands-on learning opportunities are such a big part of our graduate and professional programs. Putting your classroom training to use in a clinical setting early and often is a trademark of Wingate University's health-sciences programs. We have partnerships with major healthcare systems and work with highly qualified preceptors. Our sport management students get an insider's view of the industry by working with the Carolina Panthers, the Charlotte Hornets, NASCAR, the South Atlantic Conference and other major players in the industry. All students learn from industry experts in the classroom, including college presidents and business leaders.

Welcome to the McGee Center, where Bulldogs unleash an active lifestyle. Opened in 2017, the McGee Center is our state-of-the-art health-and-wellness facility. The 60-thousand-square-foot space is free to use for all students and faculty and staff members. Just swipe your University-issued ID card and you're all set to play pickup basketball, hit the weights, or take a fitness class from one of our certified instructors. The McGee Center is home to many of our intramural sports. With more than a dozen intramural sports to choose from, Bulldogs stay active year-round. With an elevated track, racquetball, basketball and MAC courts, weights and cardio equipment, the McGee Center is a hive of activity all day. It's a welcoming place to meet friends and stay healthy, and you might even rub shoulders with your professors and with staff members. The McGee Center is truly a community meeting place.

Our on-campus Starbucks, in the Dickson-Palmer Building overlooking the Stegall pond, is one of the most popular meeting spots at Wingate. Here, you'll regularly see students chatting with professors over lattes and frappuccinos, study groups hammering out concepts they've learned in class, or students simply unwinding or grabbing a pick-me-up. One of the larger Starbucks stores around, it's a hive of activity at all hours of the day. Also in the recently renovated Dickson-Palmer Building is the Crowder Welcome Center.

Grad students can expect to be supported every step of their educational journey at Wingate. The resources you need in order to be successful are at your fingertips, no matter what campus you're on or even if you're learning entirely online. For example, financial-aid advice, disability services and counseling are all available to Wingate graduate students. You'll also have access to faculty advisors, who will not only support you academically but also mentor you regarding your career options.

Plenty of rental housing is available close to campus in the town of Wingate and the surrounding area, but there are also some University-owned options for graduate students. These facilities, which have been furnished with graduate students in mind, range from single-bed, single-bath spaces to furnished three-bedroom houses. Graduate students enjoy living close to campus to take advantage of amenities such as 24-hour access with your card swipe to Levine, on-campus dining options, and breakout-room space for study groups or student organization meetings.
