Welcome to Tougaloo College! We prepare our graduates to lead the change for a better world. Founded in 1869, we are proud of our rich legacy as an independent, historically black liberal arts institution affiliated with the United Church of Christ and Christian Church. Located in Jackson, Mississippi, we contribute to the needs of our local and state populations with dedicated community service.
