The College of Engineering at UTPB is housed in a state-of-the-art facility on the Midland site. The three-story building includes modern classrooms and lab spaces, a café, beautiful study spaces, and advanced technology to prepare students for a thriving career. The Engineering Building includes a wind tunnel simulator, a real jet engine, plus reactors, simulators and other cutting edge tools to ensure a modern engineering education. The College of Engineering is home to the Texas Water in Energy Institute and an advanced manufacturing lab - allowing students and faculty to solve real-word problems that make a positive impact around the globe.

Center for Energy & Economic Diversification

The Center for Energy and Economic Diversification, also known as the CEED, is a hub for innovation and commercialization in the region. The building is designed to create a bridge between the academic education and research taking place on campus with the community and business industry off campus. The programs housed at the CEED foster big ideas and creativity, and provide space for entrepreneurs to collaborate and learn from industry professionals. The CEED includes the UTPB Office of Innovation & Commercialization, the Small Business Development Center, a Business Incubator with private offices and co-working areas, a variety of event spaces, laboratory space, and the Prototype Lab, a makerspace for developing prototypes of new technologies.

Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center

The Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center is a world-class performance hall where students study music and the performing arts and the community enjoys live entertainment - including broadway shows, comedy acts, and recording artists. With 1800 seats, a state-of-the-art stage, and exceptional rehearsal spaces, future musicians have a place to shine as they develop their passion. The facility includes the Rea Greathouse Hall for smaller, more intimate performances or meetings. There are also private music rooms for musicians and vocalists, Steinway pianos, and a rehearsal space for UTPB's marching band, choir, orchestra, jazz band, and performing ensembles.

Our music faculty work hard to create immersive learning experiences for all of our music students. From beginners to experts, our students hone their craft with our experienced faculty in rehearsal spaces throughout the world renowned Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center. Band, choir, or orchestra are options for all of our students - regardless of major!
