Welcome to the beautiful campus of Oral Roberts University, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. ORU is a private, Christian university with a mission to develop Spirit-empowered leaders through a Whole Person education so they can impact the world. Our first stop is the Armand Hammer Alumni-Student Center. Dubbed the "Hammer" by students, this is one of students' favorite spots on campus. Various events throughout the year happen here, too, like the Annual Christmas Lighting in the Prayer Gardens, the Super Bowl Watch Party, and the Pool Tournament with our university President. There's a reason U.S. News & World Report named us a 'Best in the West' for Regional Universities -- our campus is overflowing with life!

Niko Hall

Niko Hall is our newest, state-of-the-art, apartment-style residence building, and students have the chance to live here during their junior and senior years. This is a home-away-from-home for our students from both down the street and around the world. With separate wings for men and women, these suites feature kitchenettes, private baths, Wi-Fi, and washers and dryers. There are also upscale rooms on the very top floor -- this is luxury campus living at its best, and you won't want to miss out on living here as an upperclassman!

An iconic Tulsa landmark that attracts visitors from all over is our Prayer Tower. Designed to look like a modern-day cross, it's an architectural work of art that was strategically built in the center of campus to symbolize the importance of prayer. Every day of the week, you can stop in for a personal time of prayer, or join in on corporate, student-led worship and intercession. Ask any student on campus and they'll tell you how loved this building is. You can spend time in the beautiful gardens surrounding the Prayer Tower, or you can head inside to get a bird's eye view of Tulsa from the observation deck, enjoy time with God, worship, and pray.

Nursing and Engineering Complex

The Nursing and Engineering Complex, or NEC, as it's often called, is a recently renovated facility that is home to the Anna Vaughn School of Nursing and the School of Engineering. Filled with classrooms and labs, this building allows students in these fields to receive state-of-the-art technical training, so it's no wonder that both the nursing and engineering schools are nationally recognized! This building also houses the Stovall Center for Entrepreneurship, which is an innovative hub that allows students to work in a think-tank atmosphere to create new business concepts and launch creative ideas to engage the world's biggest challenges. And don't worry about the walk; there's a complimentary shuttle to take you back and forth from class.

Global Learning Center

The Global Learning Center, once the former TV studio of Oral Roberts himself, has been completely renovated and is now a technological epicenter housing state-of-the-art educational resources such as a virtual reality library, augmented reality labs, and the ability to live stream classes across the globe in order to bring interactive lectures back to ORU. In fact, ORU is the only university in the world to use this technology along with augmented reality technologies to reach students worldwide -- all through a simple smartphone. The GLC also houses a multipurpose performing arts center and Tulsa's largest television production facility. The capabilities this facility will hold for you as a student here at ORU are endless.

Mabee Center

The Mabee Center is home to ORU men's and women's Division I basketball teams and past NCAA Tournament games. There's no bad seat in the house, especially The Nest student section. Where a seat is waiting for you free of charge, all you have to do is bring the noise! In addition to being the home of the ORU Golden Eagles, the Mabee Center has hosted various headline events, including Brandon Lake, Kari Jobe, Elvis, Garth Brooks, Justin Bieber, Bethel Music, and the Miss Oklahoma pageant. This is also where you'll cross the stage to receive your ORU diploma -- can't you just picture it?

Adjacent to the Mabee Center is our newly built Mike Carter Athletic Center (MCAC). This facility houses two full-size practice courts, administrative and coaches offices, and a 10,000-square-foot indoor sports performance area. The Eli Academic Center, inside the MCAC, includes individual and group study areas and dedicated team rooms.

Christ’s Chapel

Christ's Chapel is where our community gathers together twice a week to hear life-changing messages and powerful student-led worship. You'll hear messages from incredible speakers like Christine Caine, Bill Johnson, and ORU's President, Dr. William M. Wilson, as they impart biblical wisdom in how you can live a Spirit-empowered life. You'll see God's commission to Oral Roberts on the back wall -- "Raise up your students to hear My voice, to go where My light is dim, where My voice is heard small, and My healing power is not known, even to the uttermost bounds of the earth. Their work will exceed yours, and in this I am well pleased." As a student, you'll see life-transformation happen here.

Learning Resources Center

The Learning Resources Center, or "LRC," as the students call it, is where you'll probably spend a lot of your daily time. It's a massive six-floor complex containing classrooms, labs, the campus bookstore, a coffee shop, and more. Founder Oral Roberts lighted the eternal flame at the entrance of the LRC on October 31, 1966, and his challenge to "Make No Little Plans Here" still echoes throughout the campus today. The large triangular fountains under the flame symbolize the Holy Trinity and ORU's threefold purpose: educating the whole person in spirit, mind, and body.

Graduate Center

The Graduate Center, also known as the "GC," is a seven-floor complex containing classrooms, labs, academic departments, and various student resources. Just like the LRC, you'll find yourself spending a lot of your daily time here. These are great places to study, hang out, or meet with a group during finals. Close to here is the Hall of Mirrors, which is the main hallway connecting the GC to the LRC, and Shark Tank as is seen here where students present business projects and host virtual presentations to corporate professionals and entrepreneurs.

Freshman Residence Halls

Ellis Melvin Roberts Residence Hall, known as "EMR," and its all-female counterpart Claudius Roberts Residence Hall, or Claudius, are residence halls located in the center of campus. This is the freshman experience and your home away from home! Living in these residence halls guarantees community and the ability to do life together; picture lots of fun floor events, study sessions, and getting to know life-long friends! Each room on campus is equipped with all the basic things you'll need to make your room feel like home. Also, residence hall security is a major priority to us; Eagle Cards are required for access and there are front desk attendants stationed 24/7. Resident Advisors and Chaplains are also assigned to each wing of the residence halls to help cultivate community and create a safe environment.

Michael, Susie North, Susie South, and Frances are the residence halls shown here, dubbed "Towers" by the students. Towers residents enjoy some of the most spacious rooms on campus. All residence halls have a brother or sister wing, which gives students the chance to get to know each other throughout the year at special events, playing on their floor's intramural team, or serving on their floor's social, athletic, or birthday committees. Every week, you'll come together as a floor to connect and hear what's coming up on campus. No matter which hall you choose, you'll be surrounded by students overflowing with purpose, passion, and joy!

International Student Center

Undoubtedly, ORU is a global campus with students from over 155+ nations and all 50 states -- and we wouldn't have it any other way. Opened in 2014, the International Student Center (ISC) helps our growing international community adjust to student life at ORU and navigate the exciting, ever-growing city of Tulsa, Oklahoma. It's a friendly, welcoming place for students of all cultures to hang out and get one-on-one assistance. Additionally, the ISC increases cross-cultural awareness on campus by creating opportunities for diverse cultural experiences across ORU and working with students to provide global learning opportunities abroad.

The Hamill Center is a daily stop for students and a place where you'll see your friendships come to life. Grab a sandwich at Chick-fil-A, a smoothie from Freshëns Smoothie Company, or swing by the cafeteria, also known as "Saga," for everything from sandwiches to fruits and salads, pizza, pasta, and even special diet options. But that's not all; exciting events are hosted in and around the Hamill Center throughout the year, such as Culture Fest and Thanksgiving with the President and First Lady of ORU. These student-favorite events are filled with a variety of fun activities like tasting international food, live music, and special holiday treats.

Performing Arts Hall

Timko-Barton Hall is one of three original buildings on campus. Timko-Barton Hall used to serve as a multi-purpose building, but it's now the hub for our music majors! Here you'll find the Music Department offices, practice rooms, a music library, classrooms catered to music students, a performance hall that seats over 230 guests, and a spacious lobby used for recitals, jazz ensembles, and orchestra concerts. We pride ourselves as being an all Steinway & Sons school, providing the highest quality instruments for our pianists. Theatre Auditorium

For decades, ORU students have dreamed, discovered, developed, and showcased their God-given theatrical abilities in Howard Auditorium. From set design to acting and directing, this 1,000-seat auditorium is where ORU theater students produce and perform plays and productions before live audiences. Our dance students also blend faith and art to create and present beautiful dance productions for ORU and the greater Tulsa community. When the curtains are down, our students enjoy Howard Auditorium as a place for hands-on classes and seminars. If you're a high school senior or transfer student, this is where you'll audition to join the theatre program.

Kenneth H. Cooper Aerobics Center

The Aerobics Center, seen here, is a vital part of our mission to educate the Whole Person—mind, body, and spirit. As a student at ORU, you'll learn how to live a healthy and physically-disciplined life, and you'll have the resources to accomplish it. The facility is available and free to all ORU students with the swipe of your ID. Whether you'd like to lift weights, swim in the Olympic sized pool, play a pickup game of basketball, or run on the indoor track, this is the place to stay fit. You'll also have the opportunity to take classes like mountain biking, tennis, badminton, and triathlon training.

Case Soccer Complex

Close to the Aerobics Center is Case Soccer Complex, home of ORU's NCAA, Division I men's and women's soccer programs. Our student athletes develop as whole person champions while growing in their sport and going toe to toe with the best. Case Soccer Complex is one of the nicest soccer facilities in all of the Midwest. It seats up to 1,000 people, so there's room for you to cheer on our Golden Eagles alongside hundreds of students and local fans! Or you can watch live matches in your room on the ORU Sports Network.

Baseball Stadium

Our next stop is J.L. Johnson Stadium. This facility is home to ORU's NCAA Division I men's baseball team, one of the country's most successful programs. In our 2023 season, we had 52 wins (an ORU record) and made it to the College World Series for the second time in ORU history! Baseball games aren't simply sporting events at ORU; they're social gatherings, and they are the place to be. Baseball season runs from February through May, and, of course, students get in free! Next to the stadium is the H.A. Chapman Indoor Practice Facility—an impressive 35,000-square-foot facility with the latest resources for baseball and track & field teams.

J.D. McKean Library

The J.D. McKean Library, three stories high, comprises almost 40,000 square feet of media and technology, providing panoramic views of ORU's Praying Hands and iconic campus. The library includes a "Creativity Lab Room," providing technological advancements and resources for ORU students. ORU's Holy Spirit Research Center is also in the new library and houses one of the world's largest and most comprehensive Pentecostal-Charismatic and Holy Spirit collections.

Praying Hands and Billy Joe Daugherty Circle

This stop is a local landmark and one of the top tourist attractions in Oklahoma. This is the main entrance to ORU's campus and was originally called The Healing Hands. This 60-foot, 30-ton sculpture originally resided in front of the City of Faith Medical and Research Center to symbolize when faith and medicine merge to bring God's healing power to others. Today, it stands in front of ORU as the Praying Hands -- encircled by dozens of flags that honor the diverse community of students who have studied here.

ORU's Welcome Center stands at the campus entrance as an introduction to ORU. It houses ORU's enrollment team and features the new Veterans Experience Office, serving as a liaison and advisor to military-affiliated students.

Our new ORU Media Arts Center (MAC) is being built and is projected to finish in Spring 2024. The MAC will be a 72,000-square-foot theatre housing our dance, music, and digital media departments. These state-of-the-art technology and teaching spaces include digital AR/AV production studios, a music performance hall, a 450-seat proscenium arched auditorium, and a Black Box theater.
