NMC's newest facility, Aero Park Labs opened in early 2011, and offers large, open and flexible spaces and offers a unique setting for the college's programs in construction technology and renewable energy technology, HVAC simulation labs, student social spaces, computer labs and offices.

Automotive

Hands-on learning in a real auto shop environment is a hallmark of NMC's Automotive Service Technology Program. Students work on real cars for real customers in the 13 bay shop, which includes our cutting edge Hybrid Electrical Vehicle Program.

Aviation

NMC's FAA-approved flight training school has the advantage of being located adjacent to the runways at Traverse City's Cherry Capital Airport. With a fleet of single and multi-engine aircraft, supplemented by a level six state of the art flight simulator, students can also pursue private, instrument and commercial certificates. NMC is a pioneer in offering unmanned aerial systems courses as well.

Parsons-Stulen Building

Named after John Parsons and Frank Stulen, Traverse City residents who ushered in the second industrial revolution, this facility is the home to programs and courses in unmanned aerial systems, engineering technology, robotics, manufacturing, 3D printing, information technology and features a robust training center for area businesses.
