Student activity events are held in the student lounge, allowing students to gain the full collegiate experience. Whether you're looking to spend time relaxing, enjoying your lunch, or simply taking a break between classes, the Student Lounge is a great place to decompress and spend time with friends.
Alternative High School / Testing Center

The Spencer campus also contains an in-house testing facility. All pre-entrance Pearson Vue testing, including GED and HSED is completed here, as are proctored exams for online and Virtual College students. Additionally, the Spencer campus serves as a site for NTC's Alternative High School. The admissions process for NTC's Alternative High School begins with a referral from a student's home high school. Interested students should inquire with their home high school counselor and/or principal.
College Prep Center / Academic Resource Center / Computer Flex Lab

The College Prep Center and Academic Resource Center offer a wide variety of academic services. Whether you are just beginning your college journey or returning to school after many years, our staff is here to help you succeed. NTC Spencer's high-tech Computer Flex Lab provides fundamental support to programs on campus through course offerings in Microsoft Office software, QuickBooks and other specialized software training. The Lab is also available to all NTC students needing a quiet place to study.
CNA Lab

The NTC Spencer campus has a room dedicated to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training. CNAs are in high demand, and the training serves as a stepping stone and prerequisite for many other careers in the healthcare field. The focus of the program is on providing personal care to residents/patients of nursing homes, hospitals and other health agencies. Student nursing assistants learn basic nursing and personal care.
