Located on the south side of Lewis University's campus is South Hall which houses the College of Nursing and Health Sciences classrooms, labs and offices.
Lewis' Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice and post-graduate APRN Certificate programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Lewis' basic professional program is approved by the State of Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
The College also offers programs in communication sciences disorders, healthcare management, exercise science, public health, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, health information management, and a Doctor of Physical Therapy.

The main lobby provides a spacious, open area for students to gather. Two skylights and the large windows that occupy three of the entry walls provide abundant natural light for you to study.

Simulation Labs

Our state-of-the-art hospital simulation labs give our students the opportunity to learn complex skills with fully computerized "Sim Manikins." Simulation equipment provides a safe environment to learn and develop fundamental nursing techniques, enhance decision-making skills and assess competency. The labs are equipped with audio and video recording ability to enhance student learning.
These simulation labs prepare you to go out into supervised, clinical settings. Lewis University has affiliations with many local and regional hospitals.

As you proceed down the corridor an open student lounge provides comfortable seating where students can work on projects in teams, share ideas, or study. Our undergraduate nursing program has maintained a five-year average, 97% pass rate for all U.S. nursing students taking the NCLEX-RN exam, surpassing state and national test scores.
Oak Brook Campus

Lewis offers master's programs in adult/gerontology primary care, adult/gerontology acute care, psychiatric mental health, and family nurse practitioner to meet the nursing shortage. These programs may be offered online as well as at the Oak Brook campus.
Our Oak Brook campus offers seven patient exams rooms and an acute care lab that replicates those in the practice setting for nurses who are advancing their knowledge to become nurse practitioners. The Doctor of Nursing Practice program is also offered online for nursing leaders.
