Welcome to the DuFour Center - home to Catholic University Cardinal Athletics. The Cardinals compete in 25 Division III men's and women's varsity sports within the Landmark Conference and Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference. Located inside the DuFour Center, Franny Murray Court is named after long-time equipment manager Franny Murray. It serves as the home for men's and women's basketball and women's volleyball. New chair-back seats, lights, sound system, and graphics were installed in the summer of 2017 along with new locker rooms, offices, and team meeting rooms. The court was also resurfaced with a new look in the summer of 2022. This facility has played host to NCAA tournament games, the Harlem Globetrotters, high school championship games as well as a practice facility for teams visiting the Nation's Capital such as the Los Angeles Clippers and Duke University Men's Basketball.

Home to Catholic's football and field hockey teams, the 3,500 seat stadium has seen several improvements over the past few years. A brand new press box including coach's rooms and a film deck was installed. And a fun fact to remember is that CatholicU won the 1936 Orange Bowl over Ole Miss. This makes us the only Division III school in the country with an Orange Bowl victory and a National Championship in Men's Basketball. Only ten schools in the country at any level can claim the same achievement.

The DuFour Center's natatorium boasts a six-lane pool with an automated timing system, and a diving well with one and three meter boards complete with a spectator viewing area. The newest additions to the pool are the Landmark Conference Championship banners for both teams for the 2021 season and 2022 season for the men's team.

Thanks to the generosity of Joe Carlini '84 and Christine Carlini '86, Carlini Field was officially opened in March of 2019. The former Bermuda grass home of the Catholic men's and women's soccer teams has been renovated to include the installation of a multi-use turf field that is home to men's and women's soccer as well as men's and women's lacrosse. In 2021-22, Men's Soccer, Men's Lacrosse, and Women's Lacrosse combined to go 25 and 6 on Carlini Field, giving Catholic one of the best home-field advantages in the country en route to three Landmark Conference Championships, all won at the state-of-the-art facility.

Just below Carlini Field is Robert J. Talbot Field for baseball and the Catholic University softball field. Stadium lighting will be added to both fields at the conclusion of the 2022 season, which will improve the overall fan and student-athlete experience.

The Jone and Marty Down Family Tennis Courts were dedicated to longtime women's and men's coaches in 2016. The facility boasts six playing courts with a spectator area in between each grouping. A new outdoor patio area was created to serve as the perfect spot for alumni, family, and fans to tailgate at all Catholic athletic events.

The weight room facility was remodeled recently with state-of-the-art equipment put in place before wall graphics and murals, new lighting, speaker system, and flat screens were added.

The erg room provides our rowing team athletes with an optimal set-up to improve their fitness and skill. We have 30 concept 2 ergs as well 8 concept 2 dynamics for athletes to build their fitness while on land in the colder months. The mirrors around the wall allow rowers to see themselves and make technical changes as they train. Our Swingulator machine is equipped with both a starboard and port oar for all our rowers to stay sharp technically and allows our coaching staff to work out technique change more easily with the athletes. It's amazing to have this great on campus training spot for rowing!

The locker rooms give Cardinal student-athletes a state-of-the-art space to call their own. Individual lockers, flat-screen tv's, coach's boards, wall graphics, and Cardinal logos on the floor are just a few of the amenities provided.
